LVHM please tell me the credit card because the lowest fee I've ever seen for foreign currency purchases is 2% (egg card)

Refunds always are around 6% less than what I pay (with my 2.75% fee). If I could get back the difference on all the purchases that were refunded I'd get quite a lot to say the least.

Actually just found Capital One VISA charge 1.75% but not anything lower (been searching in www.deja.com). Even withhout any charge I wonder what difference there would be just due to the converting rate from one currency to the other and then back again.

Warning about the Perplexa casinos.

Make sure you read the rules for earning the bonus. They generally offer 15% on an initial deposit. The rule on the website when I played said play the deposit + bonus. After winning and collecting, vegaspalacecasino.com changed the rule to you must win 150% of the bonus. So I played some more and did just that. I'm still waiting for the check. I asked them to update their website and they did in the rules and regulations.

Another one Abetzcasino.com held my check citing wire transfer difficulties for 3 weeks, changed the bonus policy to you must play 5 times!!! your deposit + bonus. As of this posting they haven't updated the website yet.

Another one Snap casino potentially may do the same. I spoke with David at Abetzcasino.com, and he stated this is a Perplexa thing, not a casino thing. Snapcasino.com has also held my check for 3 weeks citing wire transfer difficulty. I expect them to also come back with "the rules have changed".

Alohacasino.com, and Shangrilacasino.com have promptly sent checks without delay. Those casinos were played after Abetz and Snap.

Balicasino.com sent a check without a delay, but they were played before Abetz and Snap.

Monalisacasino.com denied my deposit calling me a "bonus hunter". I told them to go ahead and deposit without the bonus, as I need to evaluate them. Yes I do play alot of casinos with bonuses, because they generally offer a bonus on your initial deposit. It is my job to go through a list of 72 casinos in evaluating them. First Live is also on my list, but as part of my job I need to make a deposit with them, and withdraw even though I know they don't payout to insure and independant evaluation.

So watch out for the Perplexa casinos on your initial deposit. They will change the rules on you, even those that were effective on your initial deposit and cashout. Otherwise Perplexa casinos are fast and reliable on their payout. I was in the process of giving the Perlexa casinos a quite favorable rating, until this started up.

It has been my job to evaluate a list of online casinos. I have 72 on my list which include alot of Perplexa casinos.

You should be able to consistently win with their single deck blackjack. Their rules mean that with proper basic strategy (they shuffle after each hand) you'll have an advantage. I haven't played them yet though.

Do Golden Palace always cancel deposits (instead of refunding them) when you win? I deposited $2500 at the weekend (20% bonus) and would have lost about $140 in exchange rate fees when it was refunded but I emailed them at cashin@goldenpalace.com about the possibility of them cancelling the deposits (they have cancelled some in the past when I've deposited twice and cashed out twice within a few days) and didn't get a reply. Today though they emailed saying they sent the wire tranfer yesterday, and my purchases were shown to be cancelled and won't show up on my credit card statement. This saved me about $140 and I think more casinos should do this.

That is what I was saying that Golden Palace does, "cancels the purchases" and while that works well in your situation...it is terribly difficult to make sure you weren't double-billed and double-cancelled for the transactions...as it DOES NOT show up on the credit card statement. More casinos should do this...as long as YOU are sure to keep track of your own purchases.

yes, if you cashin at Golden Palace soon enough, they just cancel the credit card transaction. This saves them money. It helps a lot to have credit cards that are devoted exclusively to gambling, even better to get one that gives cash back on purchases (Like the Discover card) I keep a ledger book of all my transactions, it's the only way to keep track of what's going on.

By the way, I'm a female too, and Kyla, not all females are math-nervous. Let's save the "keep it simple" shtick for the pit bosses, ok? Thanks
