Oh, I visited the higher floors for a maximum bet of $25 at blackjack. There's more:

Credit card surcharges (4% of deposits), charges for card refunds ($2), charges for checks ($20) and low betting limits so there is a low chance of winning anything at all.

Fact: There is a much higher chance of winning $200 at blackjack if the bet limit is $200 than if the bet limit is $25. If the bet limit is $5 then don't bother trying unless you want to play a few thousand hands and have an expected loss of $250 or so.

A retarded joke for You Heather and ???
A man who had been in a mental institution for some years
finally improved to the point where it was thought he might be
released. The psychiatrist that ran the institution decided it
was better to proceed with caution, and chose to interview him
first.

"Tell me," said the doctor, "if we release you, as we are
considering, what do you plan to do with your life?"

The inmate said, "It would be wonderful to get back to real
life, and if I do, I will certainly refrain from making my
former mistake. I was a nuclear physicist, you see, and it was
the stress of my work in weapons research that helped to put
me here. If I am released, I shall limit myself to work in
pure theory, where I believe the situation will be less
difficult and stressful."

"Wonderful," said the psychiatrist.

"Or else," continued the patient, "I might teach. There is
something to be said for dedicating your life to expanding the
knowledge of young people."

"Definitely," said the psychiatrist.

"Then again, I might write. There is always a need for books
on science, or I may even write a novel based on my
experiences in the psychiatric institution."

"Another interesting possibility," agreed the doctor.

"And finally, if none of these things appeals to me, I can
always continue to be a teakettle."

I tried to buy in at carry on casino. Downloaded the software, downloaded some games, filled out all info, only to find out in the end they do not take North Americans. Did I miss something some where? I have not read any+thing about the USA player exclusion in this forum. As a matter of fact they sent a promotion to an aol email adress. I didn;t think aol opperated out side the US. How could I have learned this fact earlier, so I would not have wasted my time?

Yes, there seems to be a competition to see how frustrating they can become, with second prize for the web page with the least useful information. When I select a casino, the first thing I look for is the payoffs. If not full pay, I'm not going to play. Period. I think that they know that if they advertise their poor payoffs, then people won't play (true enough). But they think that if people go to all the trouble of downloading software, then they might as well "give it a try". Maybe a few people think that way, but of course the majority just get a really foul taste in their mouths, and never want to play at that casino (or any like it) ever again. Pretty weak business strategy, if you ask me, but it's so common.

I think it's because there is a perception (probably justified, I don't know) that the market is exploding, so they feel that of they tick off a few thousand customers, who cares?

Snake-Eyes what can I say, The union jack (flag in the top right hand corner of web page) is supposed to give the impression that it is a UK customer based casino which it is there is a 98/2 split in the customer base 98% UK customers this is due to me advertising here in the UK in the press etc With reference to North Americans I am aware of a few players from this area but due to the complexities of your gaming laws I presume this is why Mastercoin (E-cash company) are cautious but in the meantime please accept my apologies but the download as you know is a matter of seconds not half an hour plus, but I see your point I will get a player exceptions notice in place on the web page. I did ask (you will see it in the archives) for feedback on the pages before they went live to eradicate any possible problems but this now obvious missing bit of info slipped through. Snake eyes if you like I will send you $100 as way as a feedback bonus (I gave all people who gave me feedback on the webpage the same deal) contact me on the usual email address. Again sorry about that it just shows I am not 100% perfect but am as near perfection as you will get lol.

It appears that Bill Gates is teaming up with Richard Branson (Virgin company) to put in a bid for the liscence to run the UK National Lottery the difference with this bid is that ALL profits will be donated to UK good causes, part of their bid will include the ability for players to purchase tickets over the internet as well as via mobile phones so Big Billy Gates youre not that bad then are you!!

Gaming Club---

Gaming Club, River Belle, and Lucky Nugget appear to have common owners, or at least common marketing and ecash contractors. They all use Proc Cyber Services eCash, and have run identical promotions in the past.

LVHM- the problem with saying your casino is primarily for UK customers is the fact that funds are in US dollars. All credit cards have a fee for change of currency which is usually at least 2.75%. This is both for depositing and also refunding. This means you will lose nearly 6% when you get your deposit refunded.

Now, Remember the Captain came here and said that the Riverbelle owners did not own any other casino but they did share the same marketing company.

Now the Captain would not lie to us would he?

Sirius,
Have checked with Barclaycard and two other card companies and any refunds to your credit card are full refunds you are not charged extra for a non- existant purchase (if you get a refund on a card it is a non existant purchase)I am confused by your loss of 6% if you could furnish me with the name of the credit card company that charges you this ludicrous charge I will confirm it with them, I personally wouldnt use a card company that charges this fee, but in my experience of my customers they like the feel of say buy-ing in for 100 and getting approx $164 (ish) in the account its a physcological thing I fail to understand but there you go, the E-cash company is US based and all cheques issued are in $'s also but thats due to them being a US bank and to attempt to get all different winners cheques sent in their own respective currency would be a pain as well as a possible recipe for it to go pearshapedbut I see your point and its definately food for thought

It's the fee they charge for change of currency. VISA automatically charge 1% and the banks also charge an extra 2% usually (with mine it's 1.75% extra).

Therefore when you buy in US dollars you get charged 2.75% for the change of currency (on top of the exchange rate they use). I'm not sure if they also charge this when money is refunded, but they definitely have to change currencies again and the difference between what you pay and what you get back is nearly 6% (it varies slightly due to the exchange rate). If you check with your credit card statements you'll see that what is refunded is nowhere near what you pay.

Sirius just a quick note my c/c does not charge me anything for this facility its something to do with the precious metal it is apparently made of but you do raise a valid point I suppose US players dont have this problem but having said that US players legally cant play online??
vicious circle it seems.

Deansworld I would like to offer you a job just drop me an email and I'm sure I can find a position for such a faithful friend
