Anyone played the LOTR WMS Slot?

Don't forget to use your power spins before you leave the game! It does not save them. Some lady jumped on my machine when I went to get change and played on my name. She had no idea about the power spins and had about 5 on each of them and then created her own name and the power spins were gone when I later logged in! You have to play them before you log out ;) This is my favorite game, but the pays are pretty small! Even if you hit 5 of the LOTR symbols it doesnt pay much! So far the best bonus I havr seen is the firework bonus! All the other bonus games haven't done much for me. I have unlocked up to the Sword bonus so far! You can log in at home and play mini games on thr computer to gain extra miles in between your casino trips which is really cool! Whatever you do, do not pick the bonus where you have to pick the vegetables.. Lol.. good luck!

High Score Table

Hi Poker Dan:

On Player's Life, you can look up the highest hits for the month and for all time. It is broken down by BONUS ROUND, and from that, you can guess at the volatility of each bonus round. Indeed ... it is clear, the largest hits are possible on the fireworks. Each WILD symbol is a multiplier between 2 and 5x. The highest multiplier would be 5x5x5 ... so a 125x multiplier ... if you hit something like 5 WILDS x 125 ... well, that's a lot of money. The highest hits are over $5000.

You are correct, that the paytable is less than many other games -- however, it is possible to get all 5 reels with an expanding WILD, which pays over $250 x your linebet.

When you play the game for a while, you can get potential for some very big wins. For example, some of the bonus rounds can spawn another BONUS ROUND.

Glad you are enjoying the game!

LOL I was about to make a thread about this slot. This is my #1 favorite in the casino. Frankly, I don't care if it pays good or not :p. The surround sound and all the random stuff that happens is awesoomeeeeee!

LOL Glunn=And for the same reason I hated it= I swear the volume was so loud when I played it at Harrahs that I was slighlty deaf and had to leave after 1/2 hour (mind youthe noise from wizard of oz was even worse)- in that time I can only say payouts, bonus rounds and powers spins truly truly sucked! Pretty graphics though!

Played $100 thru in 15 minutes early last week in Tunica, MS. (I thought I was playing at 3Dice there for a minute. LOL) Hit nothing that even equaled my bet.

Game is beautiful. Sound is wonderful (the one I was on had the option to adjust volume -- slightly). Cup holder is cool.

Had the same bad result on the AIW slot.

All the new 'penny' slots have amazing graphics and sound. The only negative is that so many are minimum 50 - 200 lines to play all lines. That is NOT a 'penny' slot. Low rollers are being weeded out -- IMHO. I won't play if I can't (comfortably) play all lines. And frankly, if I'm going to stuff in a $100 with an initial bet of $2 I'm going to be found in the old $1 three reelers. Then, if I make a bit of money, I take the extra to the new fangled penny machines just for poops and giggles...

Hi Mousey:

The standard minimum bet on new machines is 50-cents. The minimum bet on LORD OF THE RINGS or TWO TOWERS is 40-credits ... so, it is 20% less. Sounds like a diet commercial. :)

No sign of a third installment from WMS Gaming (at the G2E last week) ... although, the name is registered. :)
