I did the sign up bonus, played BJ and lost all my money.
So it happened to two friends of mine (one of them lost the entire amount, the other 10% of the amount invested)
I know they are highly recommanded but I found out I has 1 to 15 odds to lose all my money.
Me and my friends played with the automatic play so we are 100% we didn't make any mistake.
Another thing that make me suspect is that they are now asking for a quite high minimum bet.
Playing high bets doesn't effect your chances to win but they make any statistic research very difficult because of the low number of bets.
Assuming one plays the 1000/320 wager 33000 deal with an average bet size of 5% of initial deposit, the risk of ruin is extremely high, somehere between 30 and 40%.
This is even assuming they define average bet size as total amount wagered over number of dealer upcards, allowing for a unit size of $45 rather than $50.
At a $50 unit it could well be over 40%, much higher than that 1 in 15 you say.
Totally unplayable and a sucker intro deal if ever there was one, just my opinion.
If you played with Viper, hopefully you know their defaults for BJ are FAR from optimal, depending on which BJ game you play. Hopefully you made the necessary changes to the table before you played.
Placing high bets absolutely effects your chances of winning. However it does not change your expected value. If they let you bet $2/hand your risk of ruin is effectively zero. At $660/hand, it would be near certainty.
