Anyone got a heads up on Playtech?

I've played quite a bit of Playtech slots, and have done quite well on them for the most part(they actually seem to be random, unlike their BJ).

I recommend the 9 liners, they tend to payback the most for me....especially Silver Bullet. The single line slots seem to be the tightest, except for maybe Tres Amigos, which I usually do well on.

Well, I have finished my review of the 63 Playtechs I found, and as promised, here are my findings:-

16 have cashable sign-up bonuses, with WRs from 20x up to a ridiculous 60x the bonus amount.
All the rest have Phantom bonuses with WRs from a friendly 5.33x up to a ludicrous 150x!! (I kid you not!).
Of those, 12 have 200% on deposits up to $100 with only 6x WR even I (a phantom bonus hater) might be tempted to have a go!
Only 2 seem to offer on-going monthly bonuses
Just 1 was Slots Only, and 1 seemed to have no game restrictions at all!
I want to give a special mention to Acropolis Casino for the best explanation of how bonus wagering requirements work! Best Ive ever seen - great for newbies!

I have also joined & played at one of them and the software plays nice & seems fair.

I had a quick look at Boss Media casinos as well. I found 23 of these, only 5 of which were worth a second glance. The rest either had silly terms, or the SUBs were too small to be even worth the bother of turning your PC on, let alone downloading the software! :(
Again, only 2 appear to offer monthly bonus at the moment. (But I didnt check them all).

This software seems fair as well, and they have some very interesting slots!

The 9 liners especially Captains Treasure seem to always pay well even on the low bets, Their progressives Wall Street Fever and Cinerama are really good, low bet denominations .25 .50 max bets, if I have limited funds I will usually deposit $50 and play Wall Street and more times than not I leave the game with a couple hundred bucks and start playing other games for higher bets. The biggest problem with most Playtechs is at least 2 and mostly 4 day reverse withdrawl times, even as a VIP at one they would only drop it to 2 days, totally unacceptable bulls**t, I just closed my account a VegasSplendido because of thier 2 day wait, they would not flush the account even after talking to a manager and this goes the same for most Playtechs. Good luck.

I have to agree with other posters about Playtech's slots which is an awful lot fairer than their BJ. On the rare occasion that I've played slots, I've have managed to hit a $600 payout on Magic Slots from a $3 bet. Wallstreet Fever is also a nice slots game at only $0.50 a go and I recently won $30 on a spin which is nice considering I didn't have high hopes for the $10 i'd set aside for it.

Hi KasinoKing.
It seems to me you have done an important research! Where can we see your list, is it published on net or can you post it here?
;)

Are you joking? I spent bleedin hours combing through all those websites, reading their tedious, though sometimes amusing T&C's. Do you think I'm gonna give up all this information for free?
Do it yourself, you lazy person!

But I'll give you a few more snippets.
Based on my own personal rating system which takes into account best value by deposit size, bonus%, bonus type, WR and games allowed in WR:-
Best Playtech right now = Golden Palace.
Worst one = Casino Fortune - Bonus only 50% and WR is 150x!!!
Biggest bonus available: Club Dice ($500 for $300 deposit)
Smallest bonus: Mega Sport ($40 for $40)
Kiwi, which The Meister has just accredited and is advertised a lot on this site, only ranks joint 38th of the 63.
(Mainly due to it being a phantom bonus with only an average 16x WR)

Good luck with your research! ;)

KK,Just out of interest, can you shed some more light as to why the results show Golden Palace as the best playtech? I thought they offered phantom bonuses, which I recall you didnt like.

That's true - but only because I haven't learnt how to use them yet! (Any instructions warmly welcomed! ;) )

As a beginner 4-years ago, I got 'caught out' by a phantom bonus because I did not read the T&C's properly
And because I'm a very cautious gambler (usually only doing minimum bet sizes), the thought of the big bets that I believe are necessary are a bit scary for me!

But when I rated my list, WR plays a big part. All the decent phantom bonus casino's have WR x6, which gives them a higher rating for this aspect than cashable bonus ones with WR x20 minimum.

All the other similar Playtechs offer 200% bonus, but Golden Palace are offering 300%. This gives them a higher rating for the %, and also higher rating for WR, as the 300% brings it down to only x5.33!

I haven't signed-up there yet - but could be soon...

KasinoKing,

If you do sign-up with Golden Palace, and as I understand, you do list VP amongst your favorite games to play, I'd love to know your results (IF you elect to play VP there). I played at GP, as well as every other casino (those listed at BonusRating.com that have the by 6 (times) playthrough requirements), like TripleWin, TopCard, Merlin's Magic, Six Shooter, Star Online, Grand Riviera, Online Vegas, Golden Palace, Aspinalls, Go Casino, and Flamingo Club. I went there about a couple of months ago (my last run at trying to see if PlayTech software would decide to be kind to me again), I deposited $100 USD at each one of those listed, I even got some wicked bonuses on top of the 200-300% offers (like $25 or 75 for using NeTeller IF you talk to a generous phone rep., and if I was unlucky with one rep., I hung-up called again, got someone else, and got someone more generous... what does that say about their system if they don't take records of the last call you made to them).

But you know what, playing VP and only VP through all that money, and using a system that works very well for me at MG casino's, DESPITE all of those incredible bonuses, I basically stunk-up the joint at each one of the those casino's (and that's 12 if you're counting), say for one which I made it up to approximately $200 over the bonus/deposit fee. But, for all the others, I was lucky to have made it 15% over the deposit/bonus credit of which I started off with. Highly frustrating. Again, I could have been ridiculously unlucky, but that marked the end of PlayTech and Mr. John Steed.

On another well-publicized side-note (at least from what I've been reading here lately), when (IF) you do decide to withdraw your funds, get ready to wait for no less than 1 month, with the bonus of having to track them down (don't bother with emails, talk to them directly), and finally also having to send and re-send your information (because the 1st time you send, it will come up too dark on their fax-machine to be able to read and identify).

Err.. maybe I wont bother after all. ONE MONTH! Must be a joke! :(

I think you've miss-read me on VP - I don't like it at all, and very rarely play it.
(Just occasionally for 'fun')

I really can't understand why anyone wastes any time at Playtech casinos. And I mean that on every level - randomness, customer service, payouts. Stick to the reputable joints like 32Red, Trident Lounge, Ladbrokes, iNetBet.

How much do u sell it?!
For someone who spends thousands of bucks to online casinos, this list is a treasure!

Just kidding! :D
Thanks a lot anyway for the rest of information. I wish Good luck to the games (rather than research).

has any one tried bet365? playtech 100% non sticky!!!! 10 * d+b

From my experience, this casino should be renamed "crash747".

The big perk about this casino, at least if memory serves me right, is that it has prompt payouts, and might be THE quickest payout amongst PlayTech (the turtlesque withdrawal line of...) Casino's.

Yes, it is quick since if you deposit through NETeller, you can make the withdrawal through NETeller as well instead of having to go through the Playtech software. All you have to do is a Merchant transfer from Bet365 ... just make sure you put your casino account name as your merchant ID, not your account number with NETeller.

bet 365?

Bet 365 seems to me also a nice playtech casino.
So far I had good CR, but not too much time test.
Disadvantage to me is that the software crashes too often (u?).
Also I took the bonus (with the nice terms) but with the allowed games I had a disaster. Felt (usual in playtech casinos) as dealing with something unfair. Nevertheless I try to have winnings with their live games (as I managed in other playtech casinos).

Dear Mr. Wolf: I agree about the problems of playtech. Yet I like the software and as long as I win I will continue to play! Its just that its difficult to get good cr and many playtech casinos have traps. For example a bad experience of mine is with USA casino as I have posted. (But it is noteworthy that casinos of the same group, Carnival, Monaco, payed me just fine).

Dear Kasinoking: I have done research but not of all playtech casinos. Nice bonus terms I found at Club Dice, Europa (europa redeemed the bonus to me although its unclear to their TC!). Also redeemamble bonuses have Bet 365 and Zipang (anyone tested this one?). I havent checked on Golden Palace and VegasCasinoonnline due to bad posts around.
Nevertheless I prefered to decline bonus at Club Dice because of the bad CR I had at USA (also member of the "Casinopays" group).
Nice bonuses are great but the casino behind is more important.

That is true - and I confess I am unable to gauge CS.
However, I have already been screwed by BET365, so first impressions not good. I registered with their new Playtech casino, after having played for some time at the old Boss one, deposited 100 & claimed 100 bonus. They gave it to me OK, but then after 3 days and 9/10 of the way through the WR they suddenly took the bonus away with no explanation, other than an extremely vague e-mail.

The first part of the mail is beyond belief! I don't have it to hand, but it said something like 'bonuses are likely to effect the profitability of the account, so we have refused to give it'.
How ridiculous can you get? Of course adding 100% to your deposit is going to effect profitability! Jeeeze!

Anyway, I was quite happy with the fairness of the software - having wagered over 1800 I had more than I started with! ;)
But I was fuming that they gave me the bonus & let me play for so long before taking it away again. :icon_evil
So I guess the lesson is - be very careful with Playtechs.

Hi KasinoKing, (if) when you withdrew your winnings, how long did it take? Glad to hear you did well, despite them taking away that bonus.

Anyway, I was quite happy with the fairness of the software -

I am not normally one to complain about a casino in relation to its gameplay, in fact quite the opposite as most of my experience and statistics show the software to play 'fair'.

However I feel compelled to comment further following KK's post, on my experience at Bet365.

I have played there in the past and had no query with its Boss setup. Having just played again with the new Playtech arrangement (Playtech a software I have never doubted for 'fairness') I have experienced my worst session of BJ for a long time. I accepted the 100% match bonus and maybe the screws are tightened due to this current offer?

My final session stats were win 44.70% and lose 55.30% (ignoring pushes), double/split wins at 56.10% and BJ's only 1 in 31! - all this playing Single Deck BJ (Blackjack Pro). During the session there was a software malfunction, unless I am mistaken (see third hand down, in attachment below) which strangely enough was in my favour!

Bet365 I do not currently recommend. :(

Haven't withdrawn yet - but it will be instant!
The funds will go back into my BET365 sportsbook account, where I can withdraw by normal means. (1-2 days, I'd guess)

PS: I don't have 'winnings' any more, because I stupidly logged back in to win more off them, to show them a lesson!
(Still got most of my deposit left though  )

Its just time everyone got a heads up on how awful Playtech BJ really is.

I rarely ever deposit with Playtech anymore, thinking the blackjack cant possibly get any worse, but, of course,it always does. Everytime I play, dealer gets AT LEAST 5 bj's to my one...on ANY given session....and no, this isn't an isolated incident.

My last deposit of $165 + a $66 bonus lasted me all of 40 minutes...making small bets and playing VP inbetween getting murdered at BJ.

I was so pissed I contacted live chat and told them to give me a free chip for dealing me such an awful game....

.....which they did

Im sure it will last me 5 minutes
