Anyone Ever Had This Happen?

Hey guys - I'm probably one of the newest members of the family and well, I have a problem...

I was playing at Flamingo Casino about an hour ago (only because I found comp points I hadn't used). I bet $3 (which was max) and the reels landed on 3 flamingos ($5000). Although this happened waaaay fast, about the time I followed the flamingos till the 3rd showed up on the reels, the whole screen started spinning and did so for about a minute. You'll never realize how long a minute is until your hearts beating out of your chest wondering what the hell just happened. My cell phone battery is dead (just my luck) but I emailed the casino. Of course the only screenshot I have is in the trans history, and it only shows the final result. I have stopped playing in fear that if the casino does contact me, I won't cover up the transaction in history. That is the very reason I stopped playing at the GP group, as well as any other Playtech casinos.

Anyone else ever had this happen? Please don't tell me that they got me again!!

I don't think she's got a screenshot Mac. The way she explained it to me, the reels stopped and then within a split second, they all started spinning again. I told her to post, cause I have never heard of this happening before. And I don't have a clue what to tell her to do...and with no screenshot, I'm not sure there's much she can do.

NO NO NO -
I wish it did!! :( I got nothing! I am still waiting on the casino to contact me. I still have the same chump change I started the spin with!!

All I have is a shot of the final result. The stopping and spinning thing happened so fast that I couldn't have gotten a shot of that had my life depended on it.

Oooh, that sucks ... I thought you were saying the $5000 win showed up in the transaction history.

That doesn't bode well, I agree with Pina, sorry.

OUCH BAYLEE!! You know they are going to use that old familiar line, "MALFUCTION (INTENTIONAL MISSPELL) VOIDS ALL PAYOUTS"

That gets me wondering how often these things happen. What is to prevent a site operator from using any excuse not to pay a big win by claiming malfunction? The more I play, the more skeptical I become. At least it wasn't your own money this time!!

I'm not familiar with this specific slot, but they usually do something a bit 'different' when you hit a jackpot.. I.e, play a tune or do something a bit special. Certainly can't imagine the next spin kicking in immediately. I'm wondering if what you saw was the classic slot 'setup' routine, where the jackpot win lines up BEFORE the reels spin? "Kathmandu" does it just before the free spins kick in, showing five 'wilds' on the top line...

I don't use the sound, so I'm not sure what it would have sounded like. The only shot in trans history showed the first flamingo on the payline and the other 2 were off just a bit.

As I understand it, the bottom line is that you saw the reels line up for a split second, then they started spinning again. Sorry, don't really think that consitutes a win, and I doubt the casino will see it that way either. Good luck though trying to collect.

I received an email from a casino rep that explained to me that the trans history showed 3 flamingos, but only one was on the payline. OH REALLY? As if I don't know how to read the screen. I explained to him that, as stated in my email, the 1st 2 flamingos landed ON THE PAYLINE and as soon as the 3rd one did, ALL THE REELS STARTED SPINNING AGAIN and when they stopped, only the 1st one was on the payline.

I called just a minute ago (my cell phone battery is charged :) ) and another rep said that they'd forwarded the screenshot to Playtech and they were looking into it. Has THIS ever happened to anyone? Was that the "standard response"?

He stayed, "we sent it to Playtech noting that we'd been having problems with the games". Sounds to me like I'm not the only one.

Do you think anything will come of this?:what:

I called the casino back this morning and they said that Playtech had looked into the issue and saw no problems with the software on the day in question. Not only did I have a 45 minute wait before ever talking with anyone, as soon as they looked up my account, I was put on hold for an additional 20 mins!!! I asked that he forward me the email from them but, after putting me on hold for 5 minutes, he came back and said that he couldn't.

Any ideas?

Pretty much a done deal, right?
