BANK WON'T CASH EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY IS GOOD

my bank won't touch bank draft.took to national bank in u.s. it took 2 days, said draft was good but wouldn't cash it because it had too many names on it. i took it to issuing bank that is on draft ill find out sometime tomorrow if they are going to cash it. does anybody have any ideas on where to get it cashed? how did you go about getting it cashed?

this is my last post got word from citibank about check the routing on the check is from a bank that they sold over a year ago which tells me they have no intentions of paying me my poker winnings also i believe that is the reason the other 2 banks didn't want to cash it. I want to thank everyone for their help and SIMMO thank you casinomeister thank you for looking into my problem this was a hard lesson learned. I hope everybody good luck in attempt in getting their winnings. I have been waiting on my since jan15 and finally got check in mail one week ago thursday. So i think i have wasted alot of time and still no closer to getting my winnings which is 19,845.00. Good luck to all

some new info

I call GoldenCasino on April 10. The last time I called them was March 15 and was told my check was not sent FedEx and it was sent regular mail and would take two-four weeks. Well, after being put on hold for a good thirty minutes, the goldcasrep tells me my check is still being processed. So, now I am irate. I'm like huh? :what: :what: So after whining for a few minutes he puts me on hold again for like five minutes and gives me a FedEx tracking number. So, after PurpleTurtle's post I am thinking this is not good. Well I go to FedEx website and see that this tracking number is for a package sent to my town in Kansas on March 2. So now I am really confused and angry. :mad: :mad: It was sent to my apartment on March2 which is really wierd because I never recieved and I live alone. Also, it was signed for by someone with initials M.M. Not my initials. So I call FedEx they say that whoever sent the check must issue a complaint. So I call GoldenCasino and they say they will issue a stop payment and to call back in another week. :eek2:

So, after waiting a month a half for my check FedEx apparently delivers it to the wrong house. Someone who is not me :what: and does not know me accepted it
and I do not find all this out until 40 days after it happens. :confused:

And now according to Frenchie when I do actually recieve my check I won't be able to cash it. Although mine is significantly less than his, maybe that will make a difference.

golden casino runs centurypoker and they wont pay me a measly $150. They sent me a check for deposit only and 3 weeks after I deposited it, it bounced.

They have told me numerous lies and I don't think I will ever see that money.

If you get a deposit only check watch out, they are no good.

They seem to be some of the biggest scam artists on the internet.

i'm so sorry

that is crazy. this is what is going on with mine. got check called citibank faxed copy of check to them to make sure they can cash. they call 2 days later told me routing number is old number to bank that they sold over a year ago. so that is the reason other 2 banks wouldn't deposit it. suppose to find something out monday

Where is GC's Rep?

Hey guys,

After reading several non-payment threads, I noticed the casino in question would usually respond in the thread. Where are the GC reps, has anyone informed them of the two threads on the Casino Complaints forum. I counted more than 10 people on this thread alone, who have been waiting for payment and/or recieved a bad cheque. If GC were reputable wouldn't they want to have a voice in this matter?

All in alll, I think GC is not paying anyone in the US. They know all we can do is harrass them or post on forums like this. If the casino in question isn't bothered by either, why pay? If I owed someone $14,000.00 and knew they would call 3 or 4 times a day asking about their money, but couldn't do anything about it, I wouldn't pay either.

It sucks cause I hit a $4,000.00 bonus round in Fat-Cat 2 days ago. Was my best hit ever, ohh well. I have allready contacted my aunt, whom works for Visa, in the Merchant Investgations Dept. When I used my CC to deposit, they charged my CC, for Xbox merchandise. Which is a clear violation of thier terms and downright unscrupulous. If I get the run-around as everyone else has, I will post a new thread and give contact info for Shelly(my Aunt)

i have been waiting since jan 15 on my got check week ago thursday. i think they are going to pay because they send emails to me plus they have called me at home. just going to take time but i will agree it is getting old.

No matter what other people call Me, I am te person who has had personal contact with GC's director who gave a guarantee to solve any problem that is there personally.

After the FedEx wrong address delievry debacle, I on the 21st of April and was told by Arline that the stop payment on my missing check had been recieved and I was waiting on the next batch of checks to be sent out. Called today May 5 for an update and talked to Steven who told me that my check had not been sent out and that it could be a month to 6 weeks before it is sent out. ROFL. Are they serious?:lolup: Someone explain to me why it takes that long to process a check considering it already had been 2 weeks. Such BS IMO. I doubt I'll ever get paid. Remember I requested my withdrawal on January 14 originally.

All else being equal, Golden sucks. Create an xxx-card account if you don't have one and give them three days to chase their own losses.

PAY THE PLAYER!!! There are no excuses.

No more excuses from casinos. If they have money caught up in their own fiascos, too bad, PAY THE PLAYERS. Eat your losses, this goes for the jackpot factory and any other decent houses.

Complete and utter bullshit to think it can't be done.

Do you agree, dear sir? I hope so. I never referred to golden as a good house, btw. Nor a bad house specifically. But you could have left a good house out of your reply if you meant what you seem to have agreed to.

To use my comment about a house of the highest integrity to relate to another house just to muddy the waters, helps me make my final personal decision about golden. Their marketing sucks, they don't communicate with players, and affiliates do what they do.

If you want my respect here, and you don't need my approval, you will need to join me in saying:

Enough is enough, pay the player NOW!

A cunny more than seven weeks to go, and it only takes a minute.

All I was saying was that a good house will eat it's losses if they trusted processors that couldn't pay the player, and they WILL pay the player.

January was a good thing, we get to shake out the incompetents and the thieves.

Now, aaa, if you have anything to offer to the player community other than a direct connect that flies in the face of open communication, please post or forever hold your peace in that regard.

And pleeeeeeez do not select my words to make it okay that golden is not paying US players. They can do it, and I think they will. You just don't get the glory, do you? It will have nothing to do with you in the end. They will pay or they will not. If they pay, as I expect they will, it has nothing to do with you.

Please become a valid contributor to this forum or leave.

card cancellation and got another $600 back! Thanks GC, and F**K You.

Agreed if so. But maybe the check hasn't really cleared yet; cleared and finalized are two entirely different things. Unless HRWP was unclear and this chargeback was for something else, then it might still be a sore bum with teeth marks for the poster.

I had the same problem. I sent several e-mails asking about my money in which I got no response. I called once a week, because I was told over and over and over again that my check was in the mail so to speak. Then I would call and they would tell me that it would be mailed. I would say you just told me last week that it was mailed. Well finally after so much complaining I found a site that helped me to get my money. And low and behold I received a check. I had two cash-ins that I was waiting for, plus they owed me for a bounced check that they had sent to me and my bank charged me when the check did not go through. Finally I did receive my money. It took about 2 months but i did get my money. It is so funny how easily they can take the money out of your account, but can not replace it the same way!!!!

Golden Palace not paying players

Still waiting since January. At this point I can only laugh...

I've been waiting since January as well. I call them every few weeks -- the excuses are simply amazing. I asked casinomeister if he'd be willing to take on a PAB about them, but never got a response from casinomeister. Has anyone else done a PAB on these clowns and did it help get anything resolved?

Interestingly enough, they've changed their registration from Antigua to Curacao (no idea how long ago, but their reps still thought they were in Antigua. I just checked out the Curacao licensing site -- it has a complaint form, but note:

Please bear in mind that the Directors of CIGA have other full time engagements and we ask you to be patient. Currently, CIGA does not have the capacity to handle player complaints against members, however all such complaints will be passed on to the appropriate member; who will be expected to respond in a timely manner. Please contact the member company BEFORE bringing any complaint to the attention of CIGA, to allow them the opportunity to resolve the matter privately initially.


Makes me wonder if they changed registries to have more limited oversight.
