Rare are probably one of my favourite developers, even though the past few years haven't been great for me not owning a console they develop for... But they just released this announcement sneak peek....

Rare were one of the best companies for a good while, I thought they'd disbanded

Mid-90s to early Noughties though.....wow

No they were bought by Microsoft, and made some terrible games for a while. Sea of Thieves was their most recent, which was supposedly good but I've not played it.

I need to get the skinny on where they are now in relation to MS and if they're free lol

Oh and btw if you enjoy games like banjo and donkey kong

This is made by the team that made the banjo games.

Also there is a 3d game too, wich i found to be pretty like banjo, almost too close.

It's a great game - it was actually free if you have Amazon prime. You can go onto twitch prime and get free games there. I am not sure if it is still available but definitely worth the look.

For PC by the way.

The graphics in everwild kind of reminds me of Zelda Wind Waker.
Much more polished in everwild of course, but somewhat similar.
That painted/cartoony feel to it.
Wind waker came out in 2002, and the graphics were pretty kick-ass back then.

XXXIII, oh my God, some memories there

Cell-shading was everything back then for a while, about 2002-ish

And yes it was a great stylized look!
