An invitation to the casino reps

Absolutely and thats why I made it clear that I wasn't attacking Casinomeister. I'm perfectly happy to support Casinomeister, after all if I click through anyones links I'd much rather they were his than the ruddy pop ups I seem to get the whole time!

The forum does add value and I for one wholeheartedly appreciate it. It has to be remembered though that even the most benevolent of webmasters does not have the same interests as players at heart. Again, not an attack but us players make money when we win, you webmasters (I honestly don't like talking in this us v them way!) make money when we lose.

I wasn't aware that casinomeister also uses straight out paid for adverts as well as affiliate links but my original post stands, with the bit about 'no offense' repeated

We have, also, never refused any player who requested for a cash-in to be flushed and will never do so until such an option exists.

Ah ok - thats a positive step in the right direction, although it would be better if the casinos would reduce the RW on request obviously. And hopefully at some stage the player will be able to make up their own mind via the software.

I can see your point here but the good webmasters should do. After all, a player who is happy at a casino and stays there has to be good for the referring webmaster in the long term. Financially, ethically and morally I'd rather have 10 players that really liked the casinos i sent them too than 50 who didn't, which is why providing good information is so important. And also partly why I'm vocal on the Reverse Withdrawal issue and why i feel that if a casino takes 5 days to pay, the referring affiliate has at least a moral responsibility to inform the player up front. Issues that make CM's forum so vital IMHO.

This is true in many cases (though CPA is fairly common - a one off referral payment irresepective of whether the player wins or not), but in my experience most affiliates are also players (if they're not, they bloody should be!), so they can/should IMHO represent both sides of the coin. Also, when i go to test a new casino for the site, i usually sign up under other affiliates (those i have a respect for anyway) to play as i like the fact that if i lose, some of money is going to someone i respect rather than all to the casino :D

I do take your points though. I think there are definately good and bad affiliates on the www for sure! It's quite easy to spot the bad ones though from their general attitude and what their site does, or rather "doesn't", tell you. After all, no casino is perfect so if the affiliate site doesn't have anything bad to say then, while it could still be useful, it can't be the whole story - hell even 3*R*d could improve in some areas! Good webmasters will do their homework.

I know we've gone largely OT, but it's interesting to get a player perspective on this topic (crosses fingers "glass half-empty" isn't reading :D ). Thanks Elscabinda.

Cheers,

Simmo!

Many players do not understand how rampant player fraud is, and that there are normally a number of companies involved with each casino - thus in each deposit and withdrawal there is a security concern. In many cases, it's not up to an operator on how fast a payout is processed. But there are some that can handle this sort of request.
This thread isn't about fast payouts, it's about being able to flush the account so the cash is out of reach. The casinos can still take their time to check the player before paying out.

And it looks as though the Phoenician and Nostalgia casinos will be implementing automatic Neteller withdrawals in the near future too
I just can't forget the answer from Nostalgia that I coulden't do a flush because I wasn't a VIP :)
I deposit on average around 5-10k a week at casinos and just because I got lucky on first deposit they treat me like an idiot. Safe to say I have never played there again.
