American waives good-bye to Hollywoodpoker

    that's a bummer.

    they were one of my favorite places to play too.

    it was cool that they were actually able to get some actual celebs to play there using their real names. i finished today playing with Mary McCormack and Ronny Cox. (ok....so maybe not the A-list)

    i see another poker site has dropped Ongame Network in order to allow Americans so hopefully Hollywood can find a way to do this in the near future.

    they handled this situation with class too. they gave everyone 30 days notice so 11/5 is the final day there for US players and I've heard of no payment problems. they even had one big final freeroll.

    i hope James Woods can continue to make house payments and feed the family. ;)
