Just got this email from a Jackpot Factory casino:

There are so many things wrong with this "promotion" that I don't even need to bother pointing them out.

Well I would if I were going to take them up on the offer, but, I think I will pass on this one.

The last time they had a Hitman promotion like this I think they used a 0.10 coin size and either 10 or all 15 lines (1 coin per line).

It's a penny-ante promotion, but nothin wrong with it.

Expected loss from wagering $50 on a 1% edge gameis 50 cents. 10 spins are probably going to be worth at least a couple bucks of bonus money.

    'snot that bad.

Considering I once didn't hit a thing on 19 spins in a row playing Hitman I wouldn't jump on that .

Those are better results than I've had... lol

But what gets me is that in order to get something "free" you merely have to fork over some money... I would not exactly call that free...

not fork over, play. casinos give promotions to attract business to their sites. by forcing you to give action, they stand to make money on the offer, rather than just giving away free spins/money. if bonuses had no wr attached, what incentive would we have not to just take the money and run? and it does not say "lose $50 and we'll give you 5 free spins", it says "play $50 and get 5 free spins" you could very well gain some while making fifty or a hundred bucks worth of spins. if you playthrough 100, you get 15 free spins which is like a bonus round for free, just for playing. i don't know if those "ladbrokes scratchies" kk always writes about have any losing tickets or if all were >=5. anyway, some would prefer 15 free spins to a predetermined scratchy with a set value (possibly zero/loser even), because over the promo spins you'll win something for sure and indeed an outside chance of winning something big (or maybe you'll hit the bonus round in your promo spins).

agreed the wording "play hitman for free" is somewhat misleading given what the deal is, but this is not by a longshot the first or worst case of this sort of behaviour. and indeed some people are saying it ain't too bad a deal for the "cautious lowroller" like kk. a shot at free cash just for playing a small sum on slots - which many people will do on a regular day anyway without any incentive - can't be a bad thing. maybe don't go out of your way just to get it, but if you're at all interested in slots, why not be working toward something? if the prize is not good enough, then take on a standard cashable bonus that will carry a much larger wr than $100. i don't fault them for giving this promotion, and kk et al. could very well be licking their chops at this prospect. surprised he has not chimed in on this, the thread must not be very old yet.

There were some losing cards, but I only got 3 losers out of the 13 cards I was awarded.
    But I also got 2 x 50 & 2 x 100 ;)
    Full details here:- http://www.casinomeister.com/forums...es-scratchy-fun-screenshots-6.html#post160842

Half way through the month they dumped the scratchcards for a 'Lucky Draw' which does pay 5 minimum every day.
So far I have 'won' over 550 in bonus credits (WRx4) from about 2,700 worth of wagering... and there's still 7 more days yet!
I'm very surprised that more Meister members are not making use of this excellent promo

If the Jackpot Factory wagering does not have to be on Hitman itself, then I agree it is a good little promo and I might check it out later....

    Perhaps Ladbrokes never told them.
They once asked me why I didn't play anymore, and I mentioned the promotions were not as good as other MG sites.
Well, they listened, and then didn't bother giving me any feedback, nor did they tell me that they had somewhat spiced up the promotions.
Maybe I got banned from them, so there was no need to tell me.
The tale above looks like a much better promotion, even more so since they are still only asking for 4xWR!

I`ve been offered the same promotion from this group and if the free spins were on any other game i might have considered the offer but seeing as hitman is totally and utter crap and the chances of you even getting 1 win spin on 5 free spins is very low this is a bad offer imo. Ive had thousands of spins on this and cant recall ever hitting anything good on this craptacular slot. Still never mind ill wait for their next one lol

I can not argue that it is something for nothing and if you happen to be playing there anyway then you might as well take advantage of it.
    But
Surely the point of a promotion is to entice people to deposit and wager money who normally would not either play at the Casino or deposit and/or play as much.
    Otherewise what is the point?
As such 5 free spins on hitman sucks IMO.
You would be very lucky to hit anything at all in 5 spins never mind anything worthwhile.
    Did I say it sucks?

No matter how you dress it up, this offer sucks. Play thru $50 to get 5 spins then 30x WR to cashout your paltry 'winnings'?

People who deposit for this are doing the rest of the players a real disservice because you will be encouraging JF to continue offering crap promos.

Don't be a sucker. Avoid dumb promos. But reward those casinos who make attractive offers.

Thankfully, as a VIP Lounge member, I have a "slightly better" offer than 5 free spins on a very high variance slot.

There are too many of these incredibly poor free spin promotions, this neat little addition to the software has been thoroughly discredited as a means of conveying meaningful offers. Casinos should look more at the notional value of the spins as if it were simply a free chip placed in a player's account, but they are paranoid that players will hit the jackpot on their free spins. This was the actual reason BelleRock gave for their craptacular Gift Crap offer which kicked off this new feature.

Unless you were going to deposit & play for another reason, this offer is not going to be worth it. Casino Rewards are running 50 free spins for depositing and playing 150 credits, with each free spin worth 0.30, am I impressed? NO!
The offer can be valued by taking the value of the free spins, and assuming 95% of this will become bonus. This bonus then has a further WR. Doing this allows comparison with the standard deposit bonus, and when you get the figures it is far from impressive.

If you want to avoid crap JF offers, get into the VIP Lounge.

How? Deposit thousands and play it through, go for broke on a couple of big prize tournaments (fine if you win them:D)

Oh im not so sure all free spins offers bad VWM, for instance I was given 10 free spins with Wild Jack casino on Loaded at 10 x 1 pound spins and I ended up winning 62 quid from it. Granted its not exactly a lot but its still 62 quid for nothing, but then again Loaded is a quality slot, hit man is not.

950 spins @ 0.30. Started with $100 and went bust two hours later. Got them insignia-crap-sh*t thingies twice and landed a whopping 90c a piece.

I voted for this slot as the worst ever btw :D

LOL @ Rusty my man. I do think we are due for something big here, I've been churning the MG 9-liners at a 40% payout rate for over 20000 spins but will soon be switching to RTG and Bet365.

Let's hit something good and post it right here :D

Funny you should mention RTG Swede as I download inetbet last Week as I was sick of the low returns I was getting with MG.
I have not deposited there yet as I emailed them asking what proof of ID would be acceptable as my license has no photo ID and my passport has just expired and I will not be renewing it until nearer my Jols in the autumn.
That was over a Week ago and I have had no reply so if that is their level of CS I will steer clear.

You mention Bet365 are they safe/reputable?

I would love to post a winning screenshot Swede but I fear if I stay at Ladbrokes I will have to make a mock up.
TBH as long as one of us hits something decent I will be happy but it would be great for us both to win for a change.
I might shut my gob and stop moaning for a while

    ;)
    Rusty,

My knowledge of ID/proof of such is miniscule and I'm sure the big guys here know more about this.

About Bet365, all I can say is this; I've played poker(note: poker) on the Prima/MG network since the beginning of time ;)

They will pay any regular player in a timely fashion. This is my point of view, check out other sites' comment before you deposit.

Do NOT deposit until you have them state they are satisfied with your ID. The industry discriminates against many UK players, as we don't yet have a universal form of Photo ID. This makes it impossible to comply with the photo aspect of the ID requirements.
The fact that they have taken a week, and still not replied to the E-mail is poor, especially since they only use E-mail to communicate with players.
They DO also have a rep here, and as a Casinomeister member this gives you an alternative means of communication not enjoyed by non members. You should send a copy of your question to her, and see if you can get your non-photo ID agreed before depositing.
Alternatively, wait till the Autumn, when you will have the passport.
