Ok got this "decent" hand and I was quite pleased for it but I kinda felt that I want the dealer to qualify so that I can have the raise bet paid 20 to 1.

I don't think it matters what hand you have. Had dealer qualifed against a good hand on several occasions.

It doesn't matter for the progressive payout, but you only get paid on the 'back' bet if the dealer qualifies. I've seen a guy get a straight flush with no progressive bet and he wound up winning a grand total of $5! because the dealer couldn't muster up an AK or better.

Thankfully, it didn't happen to me, but I've seen it happen to someone else live and in person. I thought the guy was going to blow a gasket.

Yep - that was just a few weeks back. (October)
Won a mighty $2!
The bonus bet was worth a mere $14,362...

That was actually my THIRD SF in 5 years - none of them had a bonus bet.
(At least on my second one the dealer had the decency to qualify!)

I can't get upset about it - it's just one of those things.
Like playing only 15 lines on a 25 line slot & getting the jackpot combination on line 16...

One of the reasons as to why I always play the bonus bet....and I mean ALWAYS. Over the past 2 years I've managed 6 to 8 4 of a kind and had the bonus bet on all. 40% of the times dealer didn't qualify but am not that bothered since I get paid 500 (especially when it is in pounds). Always play poker for a bit since it's the only game where you can win a serious amount with small money and without dieing from radiation in front of your screen.

Am terribly sorry for that KK but had the dealer qualified you would have won only $200 anyway.
