Question Allowing Casino Support access to your account

Hello Reader,

I have a problem that is with casino Support and Support have asked for access to my account to try and resolve the problem.

Is support accessing my account "standard practice"?

The Casino is accredited and i have nothing to hide but I am hesitant to allow account access.
Any help so that i can keep it moving forward would be muchly appreciated.

They are asking for access to my Casino account and have not asked for a password.

"As the relevant department is looking into this they have asked for permission to enter your account briefly to see if we can resolve the issue.

Do we have your permission to login to your account for a short moment?"


Maybe this is just a Courtesy, as dionysus has posted they administrate the account anyway.

I'd say sure. They have most info at hand anyway. :thumbsup:
 
If you trust the casino enough to deposit, I'd trust them enough to log in. I have been asked for my password (they should not have access to it), so usually I just ask them to reset it, then I will change it back after they are done. If you have a balance, I'd screenshot it first however.

I know for the download client at 32Red I have been asked for my password, as they cannot access it merely by giving my permission. So instead I just suggest they reset it (as they would for a lost password), and when they are done I change password from 1234...

That can only be a MG download casino. They can access an account and will reset the password to something like 123456 after which you will be able to change it again. So it it either CasinoRewards, Digimedia or 32RED :D

Skybet do this too, they reset the password to todays date then you change it when you log back in :thumbsup:
 
While emailing Casino Support to give my permission for account access I was feeling generous enough to offer out some general assumptions regarding the need for access and permission to the account.
Judging from Casino Support's prompt reply it looks like I can now generally assume the advise offered on this forum is the goodness.

Thank you for emailing back and allowing the technical team permission to log into your account.

There will not be any changes made to your account at all should they need to log into it.

I have requested they email you when they access the account, if they need to.

Customer Support agents deal with a wide range of issues and queries for customers, however when we need a different department to look into something for us, we forward it onto them. These can be issues such as game queries, technical queries, payment queries etc.

As we do not have access to the systems which our Back Office teams do. Sometimes we need a specialised team to investigate issues for us.
