All British SOW request issue.

Funnily enough I signed up for Rizk the other day, few deposits and withdrawals, had to send passport photo and bank statement showing address, all verified successfully and got the money out fine

Deposited again yesterday, nothing major and (sadly!) no withdrawal, but randomly the 'We need your help!' popup started appearing again...gave up after that and just closed the account

Signed up for LeoVegas next just to see if they're any better but the gambling itch has passed for now anyway! I would rather just stick to my land based gambling rather than sending my identity to half the population of Malta!

EDIT:In fact I see they want payslip or work contract with salary...none of your business!

All this attack? I asked one question, a perfectly legitimate one, that Gaz would have to answer if he followed your advice and rang his bank, and was posting it at the same time as you posted your previous reply.
Hardly an attack, especially when you had much worse from other members.

I don't promote any L&L casino, and if I did, unless Gaz signed up through me, it wouldn't affect me one little bit if he charges back or not.
Haha col the secret silent partner of the L and L brand

I think there is no problem anymore and the process is being dealt with. Well there is one problem for OP, just that our AML officer that is not working during weekends :) the stupid dude I am, checking in every weekend.. get a life Jan!

"Halvor said: - I always appreciate it when people advice me to commit a crime ".
Alrite now, i wanted him to rob the bank and be hang for it, does that now satify all your bloodthirsty ego???
Glad its all sorted out for you Gaz.

Our beloved Jan is on the case.

Top man all round.

Especially for UK peeps it seem to be not bad idea to play in places where you at least can be quite sure to get assistance from rep and requests are somehow reasonable or you don't really need to be scared to lose your money (assuming there's no valid reason for that).

Even reps can't make SOW:s disappear and there's not much space to be flexible in AML thingies, it still makes it easier to wait during the process when you can trust casino and it's rep, could be much worse.

Here we go again. Message to casinos, if you need to do a SOW doing it BEFORE accepting the deposit, its not rocket science and will stop 100% of these complaints.

Most sane people DO NOT want to provide a foreign online casino with highly sensitive personal financial information.

Holding peoples funds hostage is tantamount to illegal fraudulent behaviour.

Agree it should be done on deposit.
But it’s not criminal, they have to do this as they would otherwise risk the licence they have and no sane casino would do that.
Just play at a casino or group accredited with a good rep and you will get your money.

If its responsible gaming SoW then I agree, however, you can't possibly do every AML SoW check before a deposit, how would you know the activity was suspicious if you didn't let someone deposit or play?

This is exactly why I can’t be arsed doing the sow on all British I closed account, Jan was helpful he said Cos I work in tourism it’s easy to proof my source of wealth, however im
Not comfy sending all my in and outs also have inheritance from my papa and not willing to delve into that just wanna play slots after work for some relaxation and entertainment not get the Spanish Inquisition

Know the feeling.
My cash is pretty complex, but had no issues with L and L or casumo.

I will at some point so will be playing at literally a few places no matter how good a new casinos welcome offer is, not worth the hassles or the risk involved.

Yes but the right way to do it is when a deposit reaches a trigger point, allow the player full access including
withdrawing but block all future deposits with a message saying they cannot be proccessed until the required
documents have been submitted and reviewed... simples

But you can’t do it that way as explained earlier.
You should have a option however if possible to ask to get the SOW and KYC nonsense done at your request as a player.
I’ll not be joining anywhere new at all because there are too many horror stories, yes in the end you will get you cash as they can’t steal it, but it’s not worth the worry or hassle.

My biggest gripe is the variation in deposit levels that trigger all this shite.

VS happily accepted probably around 30k over 2 years
All british started it at about 2.5k over a week,
Mecca and Grosvener got awkward after about 35k at each in 3 months ( suprised it took that long)
Playojo was at about 1.6 k in under a week.

I know they cant really disclose what the trigger levels are but it spoils the experience if you know that
losing is going to end with account closure if you are not prepared to disclose everything.

May be wrong but I think now it’s a new set limit across the board at ukgc facing casinos, maybe wrong so correct me if needs be.
Would be helpful if they told you the amount they use therefor you can arrange all the nonsense requested if you want to.
If not you should be allowed to take your money and leave like any other business should they be satisfied your not Walter white or big pablo.

If they told you the trigger level and you were money laundering or depositing above your means, you would
know when to stop and move on elsewhere so I cant blame them for not disclosing it.
I dont know if the UKGC deciede what the levels are, doubt it with variation I have had

I know it lol.
But I get your point totally.
Also checked my credit rating today and found loads of searches since 2019 from L and L and white hat.
Would of been nice to have been informed of this as it can affect your credit rating.

Can you imagine joining a casino now, taking 5 mins to register and deposit, getting no verification demands,
allowed feature buys, not having to wait 3 seconds for a game to spin, and not getting bloody constant
reminders that you have been playing for xx minutes and lost/won xx.

I hear it was like that once not so long ago

Must have a look at my credit report, was only VS mentioned last time but I bet there is a massive list now,
They say it has no impact on you credit status but having all those casinos checking on you cannot be a plus
point.

It needed to happen as it was the Wild West.
I agree it’s much too far, but massive changes take time to work.

also had a reply from the ukgc recently regarding the advertising of online casinos in certain ways.

That’s also been monitored and addressed in a big way.
So more changes will be coming.

Personally a system like gamstop should be the norm when you deposit now, prove your income, where it comes from etc before you ur allowed to play.
That would solve this very quickly.

Yes ok if your finance is complex, mine is a tad explain this and await a decision.

Sadly the Wild West of casinos has caused this so they can’t be now crying wolf.
As said also certain ways of promoting casinos is the next thing that will cause massive issues for some.

When you dance with the devil you wait for the music to stop ( and not talking about my mate on the listening top thread)

On mine it’s multiple searches, wasn’t impressed at all.
Everyman and his dog knows on here I work offshore, I’ve zero to hide.
Also providing sow, kyc you should be told they will be checking your credit file...
But they don’t.

for RG Sow not for AML.
There shouldn't even be a threshold for AML checks.

If they were AML checks they shouldn't have been based solely on deposits.
