African Palace Casino STOLE my money

Let down by African Palace Casino yet again!

I want to update everyone on what has occurred since the latest effort to resolve my payment dispute started about a month ago. At that time the new affiliate manager of First Grand Gaming gave out public assurances that their abuses against players were a thing of the past and that a good faith effort to resolve my case would be started.

(To review, Im owed nearly $30K, and my original withdrawal was back in Sep. 04. Read the recent Casino Cautions article for a thorough review of my case.)

So despite my apprehension, I decided to give them another chance to make things right. I felt they would not be coming to the player forums, if their intentions werent genuine.

After a difficult, drawn-out process I finally received a new reasonable settlement offer verbally from the management. For days I had to wait on a promised written confirmation of the agreement, which I insisted I have before I accepted it. Then, to my shock when I read it, it was not the offer I had agreed to, and they refused to correct it. Unbelievable!

So there you have it, same old African Palace Casino after all. Ive been in my share of disputes with online casinos over the years, and Ive always tried to work things out, but I just cannot deal in good faith with these people. But heres what they need to understand: I will not be intimidated at all by their grip on my money. In fact I am more determined than ever to see that they are finally held accountable for their long record of abuses. My campaign against them will now be unrelenting and far-reaching until I am paid in full my original withdrawal amount.

...What disappointing news, SDaddy!!

I was just going to happily post that I have indeed received the weekly installments ever since the "new change in management", right before I saw your latest post now!

They obviously still are not willing to honor the big bucks out there.

This issue will of course not be closed until all African Palace players are paid in full.
I feel your pain, SD. Please Paskaran... Do not let this be true!

Please pay this player as well so we can all live better. I am sure that no PR would be any better than a good reaction of yours...!

You called it. Don't get me wrong; I'm happy you got paid. But it's clear that what they've done in only taking care of the smaller withdrawals is a purely cynical PR move.

Copied below is the recent update on my case in InfoPowa Casino Cautions. My thanks to Jetset for his continued fine reporting.

African Palace reneges on another deal

The ongoing saga of the online player who has been trying to get payment from Playtech-powered African Palace Casino.com for over two years continued this week with the casino management reneging on yet another settlement agreement. Originally owed just over $41 000 after gambling extensively on the site, the player has experienced unbelievable run-arounds ever since with a management that does not seem inclined to meet its obligations despite repeated settlement agreements with the player.

Thus far it's been an uphill battle for this player that has recovered only $12 000, and this after agreements brokered by Neteller were not met by the casino.

More recently, things seemed a little more hopeful when a poster appeared on the message boards assuring players that there was a new approach from African Palace and its sister Indio Casino. Players would be looked after, this worthy claimed and certainly some of the smaller outstanding payments to players were paid in instalments. But not this player, owed a large sum of money for the past 2 years.

Aided by the "we've turned over a new leaf" African Palace poster, the player re-entered negotiations for payment and a sum was agreed. Being a smart man, the player requested a written agreement, which triggered another round of excuses and delays before being delivered - with an amount less than that agreed on the document!

The unprofessional, unethical and downright uncaring manner in which this player has been treated is a disgrace that reflects on the software provider, too in our view...and that software provider has recently achieved publicly listed status which implies a greater degree of transparency and integrity.

Surely it is time for Playtech to take his matter in hand and look after a player who has been so badly treated?

Nice message there, Jetset!

When summing up the paid installments I realized that I am now paid in full by this Casino after a waiting period of -I do not a know how many months anymore-.

I will of course give African Palace another deposit of a several thousand Dollars right away as their instant-withdrawal facility is simply stunning me! JAJA!!

Sugar Daddy, I know that you will keep us all informed about their ignorance of your withdrawal and I will try my best to at least give you a little bit of backup.
Paskaran, I was going to thank you for your assistance but changed my mind after having heard about Suggar Daddys situation. I am still hoping that the next statement about your Casino regarding this non-payment is going to be a positive one, otherwise I am positive that your group of Casinos is going to disappear off this market soon.

new settlement reached

A positive turn of events of late, as a new settlement has finally been reached between myself and African Palace Casino. The written terms now reflect what I had agreed to verbally in the recent talks with management. In fact I can already confirm receiving my first scheduled payment. It is my hope that this matter is now concluded. Thanks to everyone who has been of assistance.

That's great news, sdaddy - with the shocking record of reneging on agreements that these guys have, you need to keep this thread updated on any defaulting of payments.

Woo hoo Sdaddy, that is great news!!! I hope you get every penny that you all agreed to. I am very happy for you.

I am glad they have made the moves and begun payments. I hope you get every last dime owed to you. I also hope they do not 'forget' your payments.

Good luck!

Tis' neat to hear and makes a Schanky smile! =)
