Dear Sirs,
I am writing you concerning one of our clients, Kieth Addy, who has lodged numerous complaints against us, both with you and with several online forums and prominent persons. His complaint actually involves two separate issues which are essentially unrelated. The first issue pertains to a game malfunction which he claims took place around midnight between 3 April and 4 April 2016. The second issue involves a bonus package which was offered to him of 10 free bonuses each consisting of 300 Euro. Mr. Addy insists that these bonuses were meant to compensate him for the loss of 3000 Euro he claims he suffered as a result of the malfunction, and that they could not have a total maximum win limit of less than 3000 Euro, when the actual maximum win value of the total package could not have been more than 1000 Euro.
Most troubling, Mr. Addy is taking advantage of the unfortunate situation we experienced with the Netent games that were provided to us.. He claims that since games were being provided to us in ways not authorized by Netent, this gave us the ability to intervene illegally in his game playing at the aforementioned time and willfully cancel his winnings.
As for the first claim: the casino chose to believe Mr. Addy that he experienced a game malfunction. The malfunction added 3000 Euro in winnings and then wiped them out. Our game records show only that Mr. Addy took a break in playing before midnight, and resumed playing after midnight. His balance before the midnight was the same is his balance afterwards. We have no records of any bets placed by him, or any wins during that time. Our records are the sole basis for paying out winnings (see our T&C Sec 18:4.) In any event, we have no responsibility for losses due to game malfunctions (see our T&C 27.2.IX.)
As for the second claim, the chat records clearly show that Mr. Addy was informed of and agreed to the win limit to which his special bonus program was subject (see attached chat records.) In any event, a free bonus is always subject to the Bonus T&C regardless of how it is presented by casino staff (see our T&C 27.2.IV)
As for Mr. Addys additional accusation of intentional wrongdoing on our part, is nothing less than opportunistic slander. Throughout the entire Netent situation we behaved in good faith and we are not responsible for the improper actions of others that are beyond our control. (See our T&C 26.3) We certainly did not gain any advantage by them.
We have gone over these points on numerous times with Mr. Addy, and with the forums or individuals that he has sought out for help. The truth is so self-evident that it is hard to understand why Mr. Addy is still perusing his claims and allegations.
Please consider this matter with your insight and understanding.
Sincerely,
Compliance Officer
