Advice please - verified account closed/asked for verification

Sorry to hear that mate, sounds about right for a casino that wants to give you the runaround. Hope you get paid and that you close the account immediately also self excluded because of the constant bull s**t from them, t&Cs state upon exclusion they have to pay but they haven't, so skanky and scammy of them. Self excluded 14th July. Still no money in my account. My faith in online casino's destroyed and my marriage. Cheers lottomart

... ALL documentation about myself I have sent and had verified ...
Just to be clear that is not the casino’s perspective. They needed AML documentation from you and, as I understand it, you refused to comply. That is a "full stop" situation for UKGC licensed casinos because they are legally bound to pursue such matters per the

. Just sayin’.

They wanted me to provide them with someone else's bank statement. I cant do that, I can provide them with mine.... which I did because I have a account with them. They cannot expect me to give them someone else's personal information without their consent. How deluded and corrupt are they????

Yes, thats common!

You cant have incoming transfers of a significant amount towards your account that is after used for gambling online.

You need to make sure the account you use to gamble online is clean, that means:
- You own the account
- Salary comes in
- Subscribtion, utility etc is paid from it
- No weird, risk valued transfers come in from another person. For that use a different account that is not cnnected to your gambling activities.

An online casino now a days, is like a bank. You need to be able to explain everything and provide supporting documents.

Thats gambling, since 2019. Welcome to the new world.

They have bank statements and can see deposits and withdrawals, they can see other payments on there such as morrisons, alpha finance, car insurance, transfers to family. Really don't understand their issue.

I also self excluded with gamstop 14th July, their terms, conditions say make contact once SE is fully issued to get your withdrawal.... still waiting

just read my post again, BUT slowly. To be fair, you were not smart raising this complaint all over. The only place to get it solved amicably is here, even if you are doing something wrong or not.

An alternative angle here would be understanding the rules of the game, and not putting yourself in a position where the casino can (as an overreach) or must (as a regulatory requirement) demand such information.

If you were somebody that had a £100 or £200 per month per site limit, then in the vast majority of cases there is no regulatory reason for any of those sites to demand such financial documentation.

Obviously if you are a high-roller (£2000+ per month) then your options are limited - either comply with the regulations, or risk the high seas with no safety net at all.

In the past, I know that some people have gone to the other extreme and moved all gambling transactions to one account away from their day to day operations. That probably brings it full circle because any request for those documents is going to raise a bunch of flags too.

Ah, now we hear that you’ve taken your case to IBAS which is a direct violation of the PAB Rules which are very clear on this point:

I also self excluded with gamstop 14th July, their terms, conditions say make contact once SE is fully issued to get your withdrawal.... still waiting

Yikes, what a mess.

PAB would have been your best shot at getting this resolved in a timely fashion, and still had ADR afterwards if both the PAB failed and Lottomart reached a decision you didn't agree with. If the ADR has accepted it, then you're now waiting on their timeline - which could be 4-8 weeks - and the casino staff may be instructed to not discuss anything with you further (as it'll all be done via ADR).

Similarly, trying to shoehorn Gamstop into the equation doesn't change anything - as the withdrawal would be processed subject to any regulatory requirements... and CDD is one of those.

They wanted me to provide them with someone else's bank statement.
I'm not a fan of this either, and I wish the UKGC would clarify this further. There is a difference between someone getting £1000 when they have £10000 in their account, and someone getting £1000 when they have £100 in their account.

Saying that, if the site believes you are playing with funds from a third party, then that introduces a whole raft of potential T&Cs violations - which may reduce or negate your withdrawal entirely.
