Account query - Betspin / Guts / Rizk

Little query this one.

I have accounts at Guts, Betspin and Rizk - opened at different times and at the time of opening, not realising they share the same licence number for MT Securetrade.

Betspin opened first. Last year I closed the account via SE for whatever reason, probably a bad losing streak or just cutting back on active casino accounts.

Guts - opened last year as well and played, deposited and withdrew funds without problem. Upon realising the link with Betspin and knowing of potential problems, I had to unfortunately close the account as well.

Rizk - opened account there earlier in year after the great reviews here and liked the casino. It was then spotted of the above link, so they closed my account.

Here's the problem:

I knew I could re-open my Guts account as of today after the SE had lapsed (which also means Betspin SE had lapsed as this was done earlier) and asked for this to be done. No problems, account re-opened and I was able to make a deposit. A bit of play time and I was able to submit a withdrawal request - great! My withdrawal request was then cancelled by them a few hours later.

In the meantime, having previously liked Rizk, I log on to Rizk Live Chat and ask for that account to be re-opened. I was informed that my account cannot be re-opened until September - which I presume would be 6 months after my account was opened. In theory, will Guts now close my account as the Rizk account is closed?

Does that mean my accounts will continuously be closed as they are stuck in a loop? Namely can't re-open Rizk in September as potentially Guts will close my account now, etc etc.

No, they will follow eachother, or should do so when your self exclusion is over in September all three should be opened.

Then you have to start thinking about what you're doing. You have been reading about all these connection problems everywhere but still you SE. Why?
Just unsubscribe or close the account. It must be a hell for the casinos as well to deal with this.

Ok, then you need to go talk to someone of them.
It's Sunday and I know the Captain is off on vacation so maybe try to reach Yits, and hope he replies fast.

It should count from the last SE you did yourself.

Can't make any promises yet, but of course if there is any system error causing this from our end then we shall make sure all is rectified.

Many thanks, Yits. No hassle as appreciate it was my error first of all in using SE incorrectly a while back, just with recent scrutiny on SE it does throw up a lot of problems and aggro for you guys.

I did get an e-mail back from Guts Support saying the cancelled withdrawal was a system error and that it has now been processed, now awaiting for it in my account.

I will message you shortly with details. Sorry, I appreciate it is a pain in the backside. I am happy to play at Guts for now (account seems operational), but conscious of a possible problem given the block on my account at Rizk which was not my doing.

Not a pain at all mate - a very question & valid theme for a thread, plus it's been nicely presented on your part - this is exactly what CM should be for - and if it seems Guts have made a mistake then I have no problem having it shown here on thread, as that is part of the game :)

Well its good to see this group Guts n co doing it right in that when you SE for what ever reason. As all other accounts are blocked also no questions asked. That shows a very solid RG policy. Sure it can be a pita if you dont understand the implications of SE or CD period. I use the latter cool down quite a bit for weeks at a time no longer or set limits on my deposits and all functions clearly available at all sites in this group. So puts the player in full control of when and what they wanna squander ;) thats why I always go back to them. :thumbsup:

Okey dokey, I'm trying not to get annoyed here, but this is one major headache, waste of time and inconvenience. I have just logged on and found my Guts, Rizk and Chance Hill accounts blocked. Upon chatting with various parties, it seems that someone at Rizk has applied a self exclusion on my account today for one year through to 26th July 2017. THIS WAS NOT MY DOING!!! I have recently been through the process of re-verifying my accounts, etc and have been happily playing at various MT SecureTrade sites.

History so far:

July 2015 I SE at Betspin for whatever reason.

March 2016 I open an account at Rizk, not realising the connection with Betspin (MT Securetrade) and they subsequently closed my account and (incorrectly) applied a 6 month SE taking it through to September 2016, instead of just blocking my account to 20th July 2016.

20th July 2016 comes round and with the help of Yits, was able to re-open accounts and notes logged to say that the SE to September is incorrect.

20th July to 25th July - I verify accounts again with fresh ID, etc and proceed to deposit, play and withdraw at various sites, all without problem.

26th July - log on and find all sites under MT SecureTrade are now blocked. Upon investigation, it seems someone at Rizk has applied a one year SE on my account from today thus freezing all my accounts and funds.

Now, mistakes happen, but as far as CS are concerned there is absolutely nothing they can do.

So, unfortunately from what I have been told so far by online chat, my accounts are frozen until 26th July 2017.

Since they are all persistent in saying I am SE (firstly to September 2016 and then again to July 2017), does that mean I can get back my £850 of losses which I recently posted about (thread entitled 'What a muppet' !!) ? - I say that in jest - I would not even go down that avenue as in my eyes the accounts were all fine at that point.


So, in summary, even historical and lapsed Self Exclusions can come back and bite you on the arse!!

Thanks for sharing, just shows yet again that SE should only be used when you really want to stop gambling.

In any other case it will just come back to haunt you. :D

Sounds like a nightmare, hope you get it sorted out. Hopefully Yits or Captain Rizk will sort it as they tend to be 2 of the most helpful reps I see on here :thumbsup:

Yep, the Captain and Yits have made progress! I now have access to Guts, Rizk and ChanceHill again. However, Dunder is still blocked from being in the same group, so I will tread carefully and in fear that my exclusion spreads through the group again!

I feel sorry for the chaps having to deal with this as it appears to be a pain for all parties and I appreciate their software needs tweeking to account for SE issues. However, I'm under the impression it was more of a manual intervention which caused the latest issues. Also a bit dismayed at how some CS agents dismissed me and my claim that I had not SE'd myself, but I suppose if someone did have a gambling issue they might try all tactics to get an account operational again.

Indeed a bad situation Richy - thanks for letting the peeps know we are progressing on it, I appreciate that. Having said that though, we're still blushing a bit here so hopefully things can level out and we an make you feel welcome and comfortable as best we can.

Apologies if CS misinformed, sometimes it's hard for them to keep track of matters that concern platform and they will have but some account notes to feed off - their team managers will be able to dig deeper if requested in most cases, by contacting the platform admins.
