Back in 2009 a betting mistake netted me my biggest ever online win of USD35K! With a handy exchange rate between USD and AUD at the time, I ended up banking ~ AUD43K.

Without the mistake, I would have won 7K. A tidy sum nonetheless.

Short story:

I was playing 7 numbers on keno at a playtech casino. Server dropped. Bet auto adjusted to max $5 upon reconnection, I didn't notice of course. A fresh combo and 1 spin later ..... .....:yahoo:

A jaw dropping case of ass beats class!

The moral of the story is that betting mistakes sometimes really pay off. You either get lucky or you don't.

Ironically, these types of wins rarely if ever happen when you deliberately bet higher stakes. Go figure...

Don't know if this has been discussed already in thread (didn't read it all) but the worst is when you hit maxbet by accident and this causes you to break the max bet rule on a bonus

Good point! This has happened to me before, but I had no problems. Contacted CS right away and advised them of an honest mistake. Outcome was 'all good'.

There's no guarantee of course, but you are much less likely to have an issue if this occurs at an accredited casino, or at least a casino that has little to no known complaints filed against it. If it occurs at a known rogue casino, then GL!

If you ever breach the max bet rule by mistake, stop play immediately and discuss the issue with CS. I think you'll find that in most cases CS will be understanding and helpful.

Playing on after a known breach without contacting CS asap will naturally reduce your chances of reaching a positive outcome.

Ok so what we can do is,since you didnt win on that spins I can add a note in your account that if you win and withdraw its possible that we can approve your withdraw anyway. This is nothing I can promice to 100% but its possible if they in that case investigating your gaming history and see that only it was 1 spina nd you didnt win.

That is a lousy bonus rule of only being able to bet 10% of whatever bonus is received if you ask me. The larger the bets placed should only go in the favor of the casino anyway since most will just lose a lot faster.

As far as clicking max bet on accident goes it has happened to me a few times over the years; usually when I'm playing more than 1 casino at a time with multiple screens and pop ups from poker that I sometimes play on the side and I do a misclick.

I now use the computer to play online slots and an android on the side for poker tournaments that I occasionally when in the mood enjoy playing; so far seems to be working out.

I never was fortunate enough to get a big win when accidentally clicking max bet but who knows perhaps in the future if I misclick again.
