So you log in to certain MC casinos...

One see's the banner of 'WINNERS' scrolling across ... up... etc

And big winners too!! Nothing short of $5K. Such and such from AUS won $13,256 on Thunderstruck... $7,912 from SWE won on Avalon etc etc

I been playing these same games for quite a few years... and I ain't won anything close to the ads... even playing max bet at times!!!

So... who ARE these winners? And do they exist?

And as the casinos themselves told me when I asked... it's players who are betting the most possible. Good one!!!

So if I have millions in the bank like some rich oil sheik then my name may appear on the honour scroll...

What a crock!!! False advertising as said!!!!

Just taking a look at the Winners' Screenshots forum and you know they exist. :D

Some players play "kamikaze" style and come up with serious wins - most of the time it all gets played back. But they do win.

It's big "payouts" rather than big "winners".

I have "won" over 4K on Thunderstruck on an £11.25 bet through hitting wild hammers during free spins (1500x line bet @ 3x multiplier). Although not rare, this is not an uncommon hit for one who plays this slot a great deal. The max is £45 per spin, so a reasonable "Kamikaze" possibilty is 4x this 8K hit, or 32K. What you don't see is the 132K that was spent trying to get the hit. The scroll bar is also undated, so could reflect wins over many months, and what might appear pretty good can look pretty bad if you think in terms of "only" a dozen 5K+ hits in the last xx months.

It is easy to calculate what is possible from most games, and with the right combo and high-max stake, it is pretty astonishing what some common games can generate in a single spin, even those considered low variance.

Do a bit more research before you say stuff like "false advertising", sure lots of marketing tricks are used but this is so ( like VWM pointed out somewhat) in all kinds of markets:

I'll tell you this, you can win jackpots on a 25 ct bet, sometimes even less, some exceed millions, you can also pick the right slots and get 8000x multipliers, which even on like you said 2 pounds is 16K.
Now you know.

EDIT:
just saw your last remark, and remember you just today posted in the 3dice thread: they for one are a casino that advertise with the x bet....

it looks like you absorb the wrong information, but that is of course my opinion: i read you chose not to play there, and i was wondering exactly why, but this thread is on another subject: im just saying they are one of the few that are more transparant in their advertising.. says a lot about their philosophy..
But you can base your own opinion on a few sore losers, if you wish, or maybe have the courage to test it for yourself ( you can find more positive feedback about 3dice on this forum then negative btw) and be surprised.
Like i said, i think your absorbing the wrong info, and are slightly judgemental in my opinion

Im not targeting you either, like i said, i was wondering from what comments exactly you decided not too take a chance there, and i did not mean to say you didn't know anyhting about marketing tricks, but you do seem to take offense to advertisement of ( mostly real) big wins, thinking they cannot be achieved with small bets, i told you they can, i thought in acivilized, slightly educative manner maybe, and yes, i am a big fan of 3dice, but thats based on experience, not on hearsay:)
Anyway, gl, whereever you play and i hope you do hit your 16K on a 2 pound bet:)

Now that's interesting... admission of marketing tricks.

Your play based on experience??? Good luck to you!

I can honestly say I've never in all my years promoted one casino above another!!

And yes I do take offense at false advertising on casino sites!

Jackpot Party do it the right way - on the scrolling list they quantfy the wins as 'x bet' and aren't afraid to include those playing 30p a spin. I agree the way some MG casinos do it is a little disingenuous.

For the average player who spends a few pounds (or p) .... or dollars (or cents).... seeing wins of players in the welcome page of some MC casinos ...
who have won thousands of pounds or dollars is false advertising!!!

Tell players that those winners spent huge dollars per bet to win!!!

What are you going on about?

It's not false advertising. They are advertising their big payouts, that's it. Instead of writing a post every minute here, why don't you calmly email the casino/s that you think are false advertising and ask them if they would consider adding in the bet placed on those wins. Or ask them what bet the player was playing when they won x amount of dollars.

Isn't it obvious the bigger your bet, the bigger your win?

I don't know why it's so hard for you to grasp...

I'm not sure why you're being outwardly aggressive or belligerent. You asked questioned, people answered. No one is saying 3Dice or any other is the bees knees. They're giving you the feedback you asked for. And well, regardless if it's the feedback you want, they're entitled to post whatever opinions about casinos they wish.

The lesson I've learned in 2013 is that these online casinos are a bit like Samuel L jackson in Pulp Fiction.
No matter how many attempts are made to shoot them at near point blank range they are somehow all totally off target.

Some of the topics on here over the last week...
-They use false advertising. Reality - No of course they're not
-Their RNG are not random. Reality - Yes of course they are random.
-They 'target' individuals. Reality - No of course they don't.

The real issue of moving pools of available numbers for the RNG to hit (and whether this is reasonable) is patently a level too deep to be discussed.

Then again, it dawned on me how reluctant gamblers can be to go beneath the surface of things when having struck up a conversation with a BJ player in a real world casino last week, he told me he played at Betfair, I mentioned Betfair was in the rogue pit on here, and he answered 'who cares', laughed and went back to his pint.

I don't have any proof, but I strongly suspect that you are right about it being "false advertising" - it's just the casino's mentality.

For example, if you were on a slot, played a $10 spin and the final result paid $20, the end screen says "You won $20!"
Not exactly a lie, but in reality you have only won $10 (i.e. profit).
Now if I played Thunderstruck for 4 hours and added up all my "wins" it could well come out as many $1,000's, even though in actual fact I could have ended up with a lot less than I started with.

Like I said, I've absolutely no proof, but I wouldn't be shocked to find out that's how casinos come up with these massive "winners".
