Hi! I've found a new casino *snip*

they have a really impressive welcome bonus and nice gamification with an internal slot where you can win some spins or money

I think that it's really interesting position on the casino's map. And it looks really really good. I feel like a member of some exclusive club :D check it!

Hmmm...so you signed up only to tell us about this casino?

Looks like spam to me (which is disappointing considering it is operated by reputable MT SecureTrade Limited).

No thanks!

Money you have deposited + reload bonus needs to be wagered at least 35 (thirty five) times before the funds can be withdrawn or played on other products.

Pathetic OTT WR and poor English also.

Very surprising for MT Secure Trade.

As the great person that I am I have corrected the English on this particular term for your casino (the underlined parts), sure others may help you with the rest as there's probably plenty more where that came from

So that's 70xB on the first deposit (100%), 105xB on the second deposit (50%) and 175xB on the third deposit (25%)

10 (wager-free) free spins every weekend for a year.
Except the spins are on - Attraction, Lights, Pyramid: Quest for Immortality, Starburst
And in order to get all the free spins, you have to deposit, and wager £10 every 4 weeks

Does it mean i am "gamified" when i play a slot internally? Or externally? Or what? Something like: "Scotty, beam me up!"? :D

Sadly this type of predatory bonus terms is nothing new from MT Secure Trade casinos, yes they do run good casinos like Guts, Betspin, Rizk etc.

But they also operate some with horrible terms, Instacasino is run by them and have been open for a year now( in the beginning they had a WR of 40xB i believe), but for a long time they have had absolutely horrible bonus terms, just look at this

MT secure trade is also behind Dunder casino (WR 25xD+B).

In my view there is a clear reason that Bonus T&C's are taking this steep downhill road after years of having steady WR of 30-40x B.

The number of multi-platform casinos is literally exploding and with that the amount of BAs + APs.

So what operators are doing first is raising the defense walls. First a little, if there is no improvement a little more, etc. etc. up to a point were taking a bonus becomes absolutely useless as the DO's and DONT's list is so long that a player is exhausted by the time he finishes reading it and on top has lost the appetite to do a few spins.

The Chance Hill case was the best example.

I read some T&C's yesterday that went like this: "During an active bonus, you are not allowed to enter or play: Blood Suckers™, Kings of Chicago™, Piggy Riches™, Dead or Alive™, Devil's Delight™, The Wish Master™, Robin Hood: Shifting Riches™, Jackpot 6000, Mega Joker, Secret of the Stones™, Jackpot games and/or Live Casino Games/ Live Dealer." So now even just entering one of the prohibited slots will see your winnings forfeited. :what:

And another good one on some no deposit FS on registration: "Maximum Cashout: EUR 10.00. In order to withdraw winnings from non deposit Free Spins a minimum deposit must be made, which needs to be wagered once." So you are allowed to withdraw a massive 10 bucks from the FS winnings after completing an arduous 55x WR and now they ask for a minimum deposit which has to be wagered as well once before withdrawing the 10 mediocre bucks. If you are unlucky you will have lost those 10 bucks by the time you're done.

My recommendation stands: Avoid bonuses whenever you can!!

Sure but if they see these types of predatory bonus terms as their only solution then they shouldn't even offer them at all, but instead come up with some other type of «rewards program». I honestly feel like when it gets this out of hand it shouldn't be allowed(and i seriously doubt that it is legal).

We all know we are essentially buying a leaky bag whenever we deposit, i just prefer my leaky bag to be bigger which is why i always take bonuses when possible. But they have to be «reasonable» (WR 40xB or less) preferably with DOA allowed. If «reasonable» bonuses suddenly disappeared tomorrow from all casinos, then i wouldn't play anymore.

The examples you present are absolute madness, makes you wonder what goes through their heads when they write up the T&C's :eek2:

Absolutely agree Blathaon. Do away with the bonuses and reward the player for his wagering aka VS, Slotty Vegas, Trada etc. and credit those wager free. With the deposit bonuses gone, those rewards could be even increased.

It is one of the reasons i cut down my active accounts to just 5. I do like the odd bonus too as i see it as an extra little challenge to make it through the WR, but will only take them when the WR are max. 40x B. The only casinos i do take the max. bonus pretty much every time are Betat/Slotty as i can withdraw any time if I have not touched the bonus money. For normal bonuses i have only 32RED (30xB), CL/Next (40xB, DOA allowed), Rizk (35-40xB, DOA allowed) and VS (25xB for VIP bonuses, DOA allowed).

That's it and i won't change that list any time soon. My favs treat me well and take care when i have a long losing streak. Can't be bothered in the slightest to open more casino accounts; the registration, KYC and T&C's malarkey is just too tedious to even feel tempted, let alone actually do it.

Not even convinced these T&Cs are written purely with advantage players and bonus abusers in mind. I think greed has taken over giving players a good service, coupled with the fact that casinos 'just can' do this and still attract players.

And as mentioned, in an overcrowded marketplace you'll always find cowboy outfits pop up designed to almost entrap players' money, only to fold and then resurface with a different name.

I do think bonuses need to go altogether anyway, they're an outmoded and detrimental aspect of online slotting now. The best casinos will continue to adapt via cashback or player incentives and hopefully then we'll see less of these tinpot casinos appear all over the shop!

A properly skilled AP would read the terms thoroughly, and then devise a strategy to maximise the chances of making a profit without actually breaking any of the terms. This is why "spirit of the bonus" was invented by casinos. It's the average player that is going to get caught out by the complexities of such terms. For the average player, they see a "slots bonus" and assume that it's simply a matter of keeping to slots. Often they skim read just the offer terms when selecting a bonus, and if it has something like "slots bonus" in big type and the casino has a way to track WR, they don't bother much with the smallprint, they just assume that it's fair and representative of the bold marketing.

It's also why the "Neteller trap" is such a problem, to the ordinary player, £50 is £50, no matter where it came from, and has the exact same chance of producing a withdrawal whether from Neteller, a card, or carrier pigeon.

One reason for all of this is that casinos want to be able to have "too good to be true" offers, and this cannot be achieved through having simple terms and conditions. Either the terms need to be complex to downgrade the headline offer to one that is actually likely to deliver a profit, or the headline offer has to be scaled back for simple terms to generate a profit. The problem with an "honest" headline offer with simple terms is that it doesn't act as an effective lure.

A 10% bonus on every deposit with simple terms and a low WR is actually far better for the player than the 200% welcome bonus with a complex array of terms, bet limits, high WR, game exclusions, etc.
