Like Glunn said we have had the double up conversation before.
I even provided a source.

I know it through VP. The more you double the higher the return (RTP.)
I am unsure of the precise increase that doubling has on the return, but it would raise a game with a ~90% return to something like ~91% approximatly.

A few other things I know about double up;

- If the game has an RTP >100% doubling will lower the return.

- The lower the games return the more effective doubling up will be.
I.e. 90% RTP: ~91%RTP with double up. 99%RTP: ~99.01% with double up.

- Double up as much as the software allows you for the full benefit.
