888casino complaint about their withdrawal policy and me losing money thanks to it

Dear forum, I have a huge issue with 888casino right now. I'll try to explain it all, I know it sounds ironic but it's kinda messed up.

I started playing blackjack with 500 euro and won my way up to 6025 euro. I decided it was more then enough and withdrawal all my winnings. Their withdrawal policy says after 3 days of withdrawing your winnings, it will get processed. In these 3 days you can cancel your withdrawal and deposit your winnings into your account.
It had been over 4 days and till my suprise my withdrawal still wasn't processed and I could still cancel it all. Well in the email I wrote to support@888casino.com, I explain my case so I hope you will read this and I hope you understand my situation.


Dear Miss Woods,

Right now, thanks to you 888casino not holding your promises and not working the correct way as you describe in your withdrawal policy according the 3 day wait peroid on wire transfer withdrawals, I've lost all my winnings.

I started playing with 500 euro and made my way up to 6025 euro. I had decided it was enough and I wanted to withdrawal all my money that was on my balance.

I made the withdrawal early on October 1 2015 and according to your withdrawal policy it say's * = You may cancel your withdrawalduring the 3 day period before your withdrawal is processed.

888casino should have processed mine withdrawal on October 4 2015 outward, but it's been October 5 2015 right now and it still wasn't processed. That is longer then the 3 day cancel peroid you describe in your withdrawal policy.

With all the waiting and waiting for my 6025 euro withdrawal being proccessed and 888casino playing a nasty mind game with not processing mine withdrawal, and making it secure that after the 3 day peroid before my withdrawal is proccesed, I definitly get my withdrawal without being able to cancel the withdrawal, I have lost all my winnings when I didn't even wanted to cancel. I just wanted the withdrawal being proccessed and me not being able to cancel my withdrawal AFTER the 3 day peroid, so I would get mine payout.

I thought maybe my withdrawal was bugged. But I was able to cancel my withdrawal, while my withdrawal was not being proccesed after 4 days, when it say's in your withdrawal policy you may cancel your withdrawal during the 3 day peroid before your withdrawal is proccesed. That means my withdrawl should have been proccesed on October 4 2015, and me not being able to cancel my withdrawal AFTER October 4 2015.
After still being able to cancel my withdrawal after 4 days, I won up to 6725 and lost it all.


What I am trying to say is, 888casino did not handle the withdrawal policy, what made me lose me all my withdrawal money. It say's you guys handle a 3 DAYS waiting peroid for processing and another 4-7 BUSINESS DAYS after proccessing peroid. That mean's if I make a withdrawl on October 1 2015, It should been proccessed at October 4 2015.


I am asking for a immediatly refund of mine 6025 euro withdrawal and it immediatly being proccessed and receiving it as soon as possible , since you guys let me wait more then what you describe in your withdrawal policy, or I will have to seek legal and let a lawyer take a look at my case in form with 888casino not holding their words to their own withdrawal policy.

I know it sounds ironic but with people like me winning alot of money on their site, they should have been more professional in processing the withdrawals and being fair to their players since you can pretty much reverse your winnings in these 3 days, but in my case it had been over more then 4 days. Also they should be working the way they describe in their withdrawal policy.


I hope anyone on this forum can give me advice about this.

If you deposit your money into your account in their site, it get's processed immediatly. But when withdrawing your winnings, it should take 3 days to process it according their policy, in my case it was over 4 days and still not processed. What you accept me to do? I had contacted their live chat many times before about my previous withdrawals why it took so long for them to process and they came up with the same thing as what they say in their withdrawal policy. You cannot say the same thing in a livechat and link to the withdrawal policy, but still neglet the withdrawal policy.

Why have a withdrawal policy, when you don't even handle the way you describe you guys handle in it?

What where they waiting for? If there were any issues with my withdrawal they should've had contacted me, since I am verified on their site and my phone number is also in my account there. Same to my email.

I cannot believe they bsed me like this. This is not acceptable.

I agree, it is not acceptable, but they are not a good casino and they will not give you the money now as you spent it, I am sure of this.

Seriously, play somewhere else, most places do not have three days pending now. Take a look at the accredited section.

I never even gamble, it was just a one time thing. I refuse to believe they will not refund me, since they bsed me over as first. I am still waiting on their reply in this thread and a response from Miss Woods from support@888casino.com on my mail I wrote to them.

As casinoman said I am sorry to say you have no chance of them giving you anything back.

Do what he said close you're account and never go back.

Do the 3 days pending period include weekends? As the 1st was a Thursday so 3 days would sat/Sunday maybe.

Eren, dont forget the weekend is not classed as working days so at 888 I would presume a withdrawal made on the 1/10 would be processed sometime Tuesday 6/10

To put this in perspective I made a withdrawal on Friday afternoon at 32Red and its still reversible now, they also have a 72hr reversible waiting time, I can assure you if I go and reverse and lose that in a minute, they will certainly not refund me as Iv made the choice to gamble it.

In future I would look for casino's that process immediately or do manual flushing if requested to save this happening ever again

They do not count weekends in the 3 days so if you withdrew on say 1 October the funds would not get removed to be processed until today the 5 October .

They will not give you back what you gambled away

I believe they are on the no can PAB list here away as they will not talk to anyone other than client.

You can do jack-sh*t about it. You lost your willpower, and lost your confidence in them paying you so thought 'what the hell' and had another go with the sadly inevitable consequences.

THIS IS THE EXACT, SOLE AND ONLY REASON A PENDING PERIOD EXISTS!!

The worse the casino, the longer the pending period will be.

Think about it, a pending w/d is a negative on the casino's balance sheet. If they have say 100k pending at any one time and keep their players waiting, they know damn well 20% of them will reverse and spunk it all. 20K in hard readies then saved.

I cannot prove it, but I reckon the deliberately extend their checks/pending time for more substantial winners like yourself to engender those feelings of impatience, doubt and hopelessness. Your actions explain exactly why. As you say, mind games. They know damn well the mind-set and philosophy of the gambler and exploit it ruthlessly.

They beat you in the mental sense, and will go on to beat hundreds more winners in the same sorry way.

Now you are here, check out the accredited sites and their cash-out times. I hope you can win back this cash with one of those, and get paid in the time it takes to have a quick meal after your session and cash-out.

Sorry you did this, but learn from it and don't let any site beat you in this manner again.

We've all succumbed at one time or another I guess.

My sympathies to the OP - but move on and learn from it. You've got no chance of getting anything as other have mentioned - really no point in stressing yourself further.

As others have said remove from your mind ever seeing a penny of the money you won (and then lost) not a chance!

I detest such pending periods and so have sympathy on that count with you and to loose such a massive amount will hurt

but in the end you made the choice to reverse. Thats why ALL casinos who have a reverse / pending period so that a % will
reverse it back and loose as Dunover said.

Never reverse and always do your homework before depositing at a casino e.g check the casinos listed here.

Think you need to say goodbye to this money it dont belong you anymore. Hard lesson learned.

I for one would never deposit at the likes of 888 a truly crap outfit.

Yep it will feel crap I used to reverse so often but never do these days and casinos with no reverse get the majority of my play.
or at least Casinos who process within a few hours.

Just a point of note gambling should not be seen as a way to pay of debt. Dont mean to sound harsh but thinking in such terms
can lead to major problems.

Never gamble the rent and never gamble to pay the rent
(as I did in the past 1001 times)

Take a break - deposit nothing and you could well save up 6k in a matter of time and then help your family.

Just my personal view and not meaning to preach.

One word Eren - NOTHING!!!!

"You did a Harry" and blew it, happens every day to many players. I did it 5 x times this year; 4x i blew the lot, 1x i increased the withdrawal by 1K. Certainly not enough to offset the losses from the other 4 reversals.

My favorite sentence which i even write down for me when i do reversals.

Take it on the chin, grow up, move on and learn from it!!!

You lost actually only 500EURO. If that is too much for you then deposit 50 and play with smaller stakes or just stop gambling!!!

Yes most of us have fallen into this trap but at the end of the day, they are right in that it was your choice to reverse it, as much as it seems unfair. As a newbie you have our sympathy and it can be a hard lesson to learn but it is all part of the learning process. The "reverse pending" process is the subject of much debate here and many players choose to move on from casinos that employ it. There are quite a few that don't though!

On the bright side, you have discovered that 888 doesn't have a good reputation and you'd probably be better off elsewhere. Plus you found Casinomeister and over time, the advice and stories from members will probably save you what you lost and some.

I know that Eur500 is not pocket change for a lot of us here but that amount can be earned back at work in a matter of weeks. No chance of a refund even taking into account that this is the horrendous 888 outshit, sorry, outfit! Best advice, only play at casino's that have very small pending times or allow flushing. I personally stopped playing at 32Red because of their excessive withdrawal pending period.
