These guys don't seem to be listed anywhere (unless I've missed it). Not Rogued, not accredited, not "no can do", nor "casino warning"... When I search for 888.com here I get no results.
I was under the impression they were one of the biggest online casinos in the world, but they don't seem to exist on Casinomeister
I have them listed as my least favourite casino because I made a $200 deposit recently and my RTP must've been about 10% it was so bloody awful.

Anyway, can anyone with experience tell me anything about them?

Can't comment on them CM-status wise but had joined up to 888 myself a while back and didn't encounter any problems that would make me think of them negatively. A lot of promos, lottts of marketing material, but seem to be a legit outfit as far as I could see, no deposit, withdrawal hassles etc, lots of choice, CS were fine.. not much to say really but I'm sure others can weigh in and perhaps shed light on the CM side of it.

    Avoid 888 like the plague.

Nothing to do with the RTP of their games, which is irrelevant particularly based on one $200 deposit.

Most players are surprised when they find out that they have a very good RTP even though the session is a losing one.

How well games pay cannot be even remotely assessed from one session.

They are part of Cassava Group I believe, which means there may be issues with them. Primarily 'linked accounts' whereby because they have a multitude of bingo and casino sites, you can easily sign up to one, deposit and win then find you 'had a bonus you were ineligible for' or 'accouint invalid due to multiple accounts' etc. which means they can void winnings, especially derived from bonuses.
'Proceed with caution' I believe is how we would rate them.

My $200 deposit comment was just a quick bitch (as we gamblers do right?). I didn't have a "worst casino" on my profile here, and that very bad session annoyed me so.. bada-bing! :D

Why do you say avoid them like the plague? That's the part I'm interested in ;)

There is a LOT of info regarding 888 around this forum - but it may be hard to find.
They have been around for AGES, but they do not have a stellar reputation.
I used to play there myself (2005-2006) and I am actually lifetime ahead with them as a player, but they since started pulling a lot of dirty tricks, have refused to cooperate with CasinoMeister and have a distinctly dodgy affiliate program.

It's hard to define exactly what is wrong with them, and if you only play at one Cassava site you will probably have a pretty good experience, but in the grand scheme of things, you would be MUCH better off sticking to CM's Accredited casinos.
