666Bet are keen to spin the explanation that none of this had anything to do with cashflow, going bust, etc. However, it does seem that there has been rather a lot of stalling before player payments were made available, and now they can't pay their B2B bills, which is a little more serious. It makes me wonder whether the suspension of their licence wasn't the only problem that prevented them from paying players right away. Non payment of B2B invoices would eventually cause their suppliers to pull the plug, and if they then heard that they had lost their licence, they may start pulling the plug right away as there would be no further turnover for the business, and thus very little chance of more money becoming available to pay overdue bills. It could be why their payment providers deserted them immediately, rendering them incapable of paying players right after the UKGC action. They also seemed to have struggled to reach even a limited agreement with Skrill for the sole purpose of paying players.
