$500 Free Play Promo - any advice??

I have participated in one of these $500 free play promotions, the winnings have been transfered as bonus chips to my account after I have made my first deposit. I followed the big bet strategy as described in aka23's  website and made a win :D . Now a little part of my balance is the bonus money that was transfered from the "$500 fee play winning" , should I request a withdrawal now and forfeit the bonus money or is it better to wait until I playthrourgh the bonus ?
There is not a simple right or wrong answer. You are expected to lose money playing through the bonus on most games... a notable exceptions is French Roulette. You are expected to retain about 0.2xB on this game. However, there is only about 60% chance of making a net gain during the playthrough. If you have a low risk tolerance and want to insure that you keep your winnings, then cash out without completing the playthrough. If you have a higher risk tolerance and want to keep playing or want to increase your expected gain, then keep playing.

An alternative that I often choose with a bonus of this weighting is playing through the first $10. The bonus is converted to cash in $10 chunks. You may have already played through a good portion of the first chunk (you can check how much you have left in the banking area), so you have better odds of making a gain with this $10 than with the rest of the bonus. You could start playing through the bonus, then reevaluate, after the first $10 of the bonus is converted to cash.

Yep, aka has a good point, while French Roulette can be "theoretically" profititable (with 50% or more weighting), the risk can be pretty darn large, even with thousands of spins at only $1 bets. (unless you bet on both black and red, which might get you thrown out).

I've gone through two different ways of thinking about this, personally:

1) When risk averse, I've just gone ahead and cashed out. I especially got like this after I had a bad roulette streak and lost about $500 after many thousands of spins. Also, autoplaying thousands of spins is simply a pain in the butt. Withdrawing immediately is quick and easy and painless.

2) On the other hand, playing all that roulette with inflate your playthrough numbers with the casino. That might earn you some comp points, or, at the least, make you look like less of a bonus-hustler.

I've grown less risk-averse as my hustling bankroll grows, so I generally go with option 2 now (as long as french roulette is weighted 50% or more)

BlackJack Ballroom?

I just received a one hour/$500 free play with this casino, and things seemed to go well. Although...I did not make any money. Have you folks heard of this one? I checked the accreditation list, but did not see it anywhere. Many thanks.

Only problem I had collecting my $200 bonus was the wierd music and put on hold crap for 20 minutes or so (I hit on loaded in a few throws) They paid me twice because it was a new promotion and dude didn't have his ducks in a row.) But they paid me, twice.

Sorry 'bout your luck.

btw I was amazed i was offered loaded for a free spin, RINGER if lucky.
