Yes we all know they have great customer service and some fun tourneys and all. My question is why is it when you are in a tourney the hits are back to back with free spins and bonus rounds time after time. Deposit and the casino just kinda dies on you. I again with my last deposit no more then a few minutes play time thats fine a bad run is a bad run. But somewhere you need to draw the line when the fun just stops, even if you hit 4 of something doesnt even cover the cost of your bet size. Is it just me. Or are there other players out there that feel the same way.

I play a fair amount at 3dice and have had some great runs recently. I think tourney mode is different - higher bets allowed etc but I could be wrong. I found with 3dice nothing can happen for a while then out of the blue you can hit somthing big. Its all luck though.

Sure did..and uninstalled it...I felt a tremendous amount of relief since I uninstalled it because I only play at casinos that give back a little every once in a while now(withdrawal wise). Was tired of feeding the monster continuously without any play or return , deposit after deposit and as they say, if it isn't fun anymore it is time to move on..and I did...good luck to others that continue there, but it wasn't for me. Maybe someday in the far future, I might give it another try, but at this time, it is on my do not play list with a few others.

I have set my limit of deposits to around 3-5 and if there is no withdrawal to be had by the 5th deposit, I have been uninstalling them. What is interesting is I have narrowed it down to about 8 casinos now that actually give me play time and a little return to play with again that will keep my business..That is all I have ever asked from any casno and what is amazing is, I am enjoying myself a lot more with a lot more play time and bonus rounds etc with these few casinos.

Jas has helped me see the light  ;)

Brick and Mortar slot machines can be opened up and 'set' to tournament functionality that ensures lots of wins to make it more exciting. Since everyone's chance remains the same, but with more big 'wins' to make it interesting, there's no issue. I'm sure it is possible to set up online tournaments the same way, but I'm not certain that I would do it that way since people are less trusting and frequently think that the casino can 'flip the switch' already.

Well, I do know that I play a lot of tourneys, and I end up with less than my starting balance more times that I end ahead. I often feel when $2000 is gone in 40 minutes...glad that wasn't real money.

But when you hit, you hit pretty good usually. High variance slots mean fewer small wins "to keep you going", with the occasional good payback. But you can't keep playing because you "are on a roll", because the rolls are not long.

I don't think they play differently in tourneys, I just don't make max bets in real without any consequences like tourney play.

And it is awfully nice to have such competent support and near instant withdrawals to my e-wallet, or timely bank wires if I have a win large enough to avoid fees.

When I lose my deposit, I have a chance to come back and play free tourneys to try again for some real play.

Plus, all the lovely fellow 3dicers to complain about how rotten real was to me.:D

Ditto here Jazzy, lol. I've zeroed out quite a few times lately playing tournies. And my luck has been just plain bad everywhere lately.....32Red, Inetbet and 3Dice. So it's certainly not confined to 3Dice at all. I haven't played in a week or more anywhere, and I'm gonna give it at least another week's break before I test the waters again (at any of my 3 casinos).

Hi Lauram,

I'm sorry you had a bad run, it happens - and I know its substantially less fun than a good one. Keep in mind tho that that deposit although it didn't give you any playtime directly is what keeps you in the VIP tournaments - and those give you guaranteed playtime. And not just playtime actually, looking at your lifetime stats, the tourney-wins are part of the reason you've withdrawn more than you deposited at 3Dice (I'll send you your stats in pm).

Hope you have better luck next time, Lauram !

Hi silc,

Imagine a 100% casino run by lets say Bryan himself. In this 100% payback casino, on the long term, the total withdraw and total deposit would be the same (hence 100%). On such a casino you should expect to cashout $100 on average every fifth deposit of $20. (5x$20 = $100). In this flawless casino the odds of going 5 deposits without cashout would be (4/5)^5 = 32%. That means that if you take 3 series of 5 deposits, 1 of them have no cashout. So following your logic you would uninstall this divine casino after just 15 deposits. It would be a bad move. In all honesty, the strategy you describe will run you out of reputable casino's pretty fast and the odds that that big hit is gonna happen at a place you rather wouldn't increase equally fast.

You don't get to chose whether or not you'll be lucky - you just get to chose where it can happen...

Kindest Regards,

Enzo

My run has been bad as well. usually the deposit is gone in no time at all although I guess I am playin the slots where this usually can happen although it is not less frustrating.
Ofcourse I wanna cash out however playtime is also a thing that I value and havent gotten that either lately. However this goes for all the casinos, not just 3 dice. I am just having a bad run....
I guess I will have to try more of the tourneys to see if my luck can change. =))

Almost 2 years of archived posts with "3Dice" in the title, you've got to love the free SEO here Enzo...

No such thing as bad publicity Rob?

i must say i was getting tired of all the deposits and no wins for about 8 deposits. then i noticed a huge lucky streak it all came together.

i also have hat really bad luck at 3dice- i deposited 100 and decided to play payola at 80 cents to 1 dollar a spin all the way with no bonus what so ever and maybe 10 dollar win tops until my money was gone i was getting frustrated so i deposit 50 more and same thing nothing - well would u not beleive i go to tourny mode and play and i get like tons of bonuses i was getting really frustrated.
all in all i do admire the great service they have and fast withdrawls- but i do notice more and more bad luck lately. i really do wish they would put out more games more frequently getting boring playing the same thing over and over.

oh by the way i have also withdrew 3 times now out of maybe 20 deposits maybe more. whats keeping me playing is the awsome service and tournys

Thank you for your input, and I respect your opinion, but I can truly say, yes, I do get to choose when I will be lucky or not. I would ask, just when does one draw the line then? But you say:
the odds that that big hit is gonna happen
One of the other casinos I have uninstalled I was up over 100 deposits with 3 withdrawals...should I continue in this vien or just move on? I chose to move on and not allow this to happen again at any given casino even if it is an accredited one.

Running out of casinos will not be a problem. There are many on the list (remember I started over 13 years ago that no longer take USA players but have grandfathered the old players in).

On another note about your tournies, I never knew I was eligable for any of the tournies until I asked in chat why I had a list of them on my screen. The tournies that you offered were interesting but got a bit tiring to have to continue to ask for my code (Never got email from the casino from day one except for one time I had to ask them to email me the code in chat for silver tournie and after that again, not 1 email, nothing). I did report this and changed my email etc..but I guess I wasn't destined to play there for some reason at this time.

you just get to chose where it can happen...
Yup, and this IS the best part of it all..I get to choose where my money gets blown :D Win or lose. Good or bad and at this time...all is becoming VERY good. As I said, maybe one day I will give it another shot, but right now I will go where the play flows..as I said earlier, I don't ask for much:
that actually give me play time and a little return to play with again that will keep my business..That is all I have ever asked from any casino
It is a guarantee that gamblers lose in the end, but where one loses is almost as important to the feeling of enjoying the entertainment for the amount we invest. I think this has been forgotten by many newer casinos in trying to achieve the illusion of having one get the "ultimate" win which has not appeared quite yet..as promised in the last few years. Only the words of "variance" has..and been overused by many to offset this no show win at a few of the newer casinos except the one time in tourney mode which didn't count for the player since it was uncashable.

So , all in all...I do wish others luck at your casino. Maybe it was meant to be for them.:)

I had a long bad run at 3Dice but I've made a few smallish withdrawals lately. I find with the slots it's usually really high variance - nothing nothing nothing (for a LONG time) and then win a little, then BOOM - a big payout. (lol, unfortunately I'm usually out of money by the time the BOOM hits)

But sometimes the slots seem to be lower variance - you get lots of little wins and lots of features but nothing really pays out much. So at least you get some playtime and can sometimes cash out a bit.

I'm with Pina, I've been getting slaughtered wherever I play lately - my ONLY cashouts have been with 3D lately and they haven't been anything to write home about either.

I have been running cold as ice at 3Dice, can't even get some free spins.
I wish they had deposits in Canadian $, and a few more slots but over all I love the graphics and customer service.

all I love the graphics and customer service
But how much fun is it to stare at the slots and chat with customer service? I guess it could be entertaining since it is free and no deposit is required...:D

Apart from the 2 tourneys i won from the invite from laurie the last time i won a tourney was back in april 2008. My other problem is the way ewallet is set up on 3dice for deposits im not sure why that is but i can only put 35 into the drop down box at a time and only twice a month. At the rtg that accept ewallet i can deposit what amount i choose to play with. So this excludes me from the vip tourneys. I enjoy the games at 3dice but they just seem so much different in tourney play then in real play. I never deposit thinking im going to withdraw nice if that happens but when your play time just gets sucked out of you with dead spins, or 4 of a kind hit for a little pay back its hard to want to keep playing as your money is gone at that point.

Which ewallet are you using Laura? Do you mean EWallet Express? And it's only preset amounts you can deposit? That sounds like the old Navaho Networks thing that was charged through your phone bill....what was the name of that...anyone remember? You have to get yourself one of those Titanium Plus prepaid Mastercards from Money Mart. I can deposit as little as $10, if I so choose.

Bottom line though, if 3Dice is a casino you're not happy at...then you should move on, as Silc said. And as Enzo said, the only choice you really have is where you're lucky, not when.

I like the 3Dice tournies, as they're perfect for me right now.....while I'm taking a break for a couple of weeks. I still get to play a bit, and maybe even win something. I've cashed out a few times before from $10 tourney wins......not huge amounts....but still cashouts. Chat isn't really my thing, but to each his own...depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I love the instant cashouts, and the support from Enzo on down is top notch. For me, the pros far outweigh any cons there may be. Yes, the slots can be volatile, but that can work both ways as well.

Anyway, best of luck to you wherever you decide to play.

Thanks pina and yes it is the ewalletexpress navaho. But it is strange with the drop down boxes at 3dice they have their amounts but i can never deposit more then the 35, its at my ewallet end that wont allow me to. Only to this casino if i try to deposit to them more then once a week now i cant do that either im not sure why. I use it a few times a week for rtg without any problems. You cant beat 3dice for tourneys and customer service thats one thing you could never take away from them. And bad runs any player has many of those also. As i said i just found how different the games played from real to tourney modes.
