Looks more like they are going the other way!If one of the major 'tried and trusted' operators launched a 3D platform (and assuming that the games perform as well in 3D as they do currently in 2D; if they don't then rightly so there's no chance of success!) do you think players would generally remain permanently in the 3D environment rather than return to 2D on the basis of their enhanced experience? Any 3D environment would obviously need to be as intuitive as regular online casinos are now.
Seems time now surely to take online gaming closer to the Xbox?

I was going to take a screenshot of $US Intercasino's 3D lobby, but since last week they've scrapped it!
However, the UK version still has it... for now:

If there were any players, you would see them seated at the tables and could just click an empty seat to join in.
In the first version of Crypto at Will Hills (2001) you actually took a "virtual walk" around the casino floor until you found a table you wanted! Gone for ever now.
