Firstly,a big shout out to Mark and 32red for being so loyal to CM and for their generosity here (getting a decent bonus any other way eg email is almost impossible lol).
He has also generously offered some bonus cash to my own little comp this month too ... just hoping he hasn’t blown his July budget on you lot and forgotten lol.

Now don’t shoot me down but I see Mina’s point of view and read Mark’s offer, at the start of June, in the same way.

Perhaps I misread it or misinterpreted it, but I did use a bigger % if my monthly slots funds at 32red (I used to play here exclusively about 10 years ago and earned ruby status)

Some might say I was foolish but played on the basis that even if I came last with £10 doubled, there would still be a bit extra on top from the shared pot.

My saving grace was that I got one of the special positions so got extra on top. Also it is my birthday this week so will also get my birthday rubies to use.

This month I certainly deposited a bit more than I won but then I would have gambled it elsewhere anyhow lol.
@Tirilej I know what you’re thinking and don’t you dare lol. Enjoy the fruits of your hard work and dedication.

I totally appreciate the fact that Mark has rewarded the most committed and dedicated ‘game players’. Loyalty is a rare trait these days. I applaude their development of tactical play and also (for some), your ability to stare at 9 different open windows for a significant potion of the month.

The comp ended on a high for me because I finally made the top 32 for the first time ever....I made sure I took a screen shot lol. (I had to resort to low spinning for a while to counter balance my £1 spins in multiplayer Avalon though). With just a 1% of disappointed at my misunderstanding.

I hope mark hasn’t been scared away completely and has a few other ideas up his sleeve. But it was time to let this comp end I feel... some dead CM wood that needed felling perhaps...

This will leave a nice and level playing field for kid newbies for anything in the future That 32red might offer to CM.

I especially liked our Christmas exclusive tourney set up hint hint hint x x

A big thank you hug to mark x

It’s not about $100 but about what it represented. I was a club rouge player with 100% match deposit up to 10k, then down to 5k, then down to 25% match bonus. This was the only thing going for 32red and now this. Why would Mark half way through a tournament say I won’t double players prizes only because one person complained?
I think it’s time I close my account at 32red. I appreciate what Mark has done through the years, I thanked him privately and here, but why would he pull something like this when it’s the last time after 10 years!

This steady worsening of the value of promotions is an industry wide change, not just 32Red. In the very early days, the free money was simply dished out, little in the way of WR in many cases. It's probably a sign that the industry has matured, and so have the players. Unusually, the Slotsmeister stayed with the token 4x WR on prizes for 10 years, whereas Ladbrokes went from their token 4x to a more usual 30-50x, ditched MG for some crappy software, got too big to give a damn about this forum and their customers, etc.

You are not wrong, but many customers don't know how things work internally. I am sure you have been allocated an overall budget to run this promotion, and would need permission to overspend, which is probably unlikely to be granted. However, when a customer is told finances are so tight that an extra £1000 simply can't be found in order to make something fairer, it can give the impression that the business has very tight finances overall.

This must be a tiny promotion in the overall scheme of things, and there are other 32Red leaderboard promotions running, although they are based on total amount wagered, unlike number of spins.

There is another thread about the "ongoing diabolical promotions" that seem to be afflicting the whole online casino industry in general, not just specific "tight" casinos. Part of the problem is that it's the various promotions that make each casino different, and will have a significant influence when many players decide where to play.

I admire your feedback, but on this occasion you are not right. I control of the budget, my decisions were made based on long time loyalty and support in the forum - something which sadly is dwindling.

You offer an inch...

Enjoy your bonuses guys. Over and out.

Cheers
Mark

Loyalty is dwindling as the industry seems to change for the worse as it matures. Long time players know what it used to be like compared to what it is like now in 2018.

Consumers know from general experience that the modern way is that loyalty does not pay. What pays is disloyalty, the constant "shopping around", with companies buying into this trend by reserving the best deals for new customers. The online casino industry has also bought into this concept with it being well known that the welcome package is a far better deal than so called "loyal player promotions".

When a long standing "loyal player promotion" bites the dust, no matter how long it has been running, there is going to be a level of discontent among those players who have remained loyal for many years, who will feel that despite this loyalty, their long term promotion has been discontinued with nothing obviously replacing it.

Microgaming are just as bad. They seem to have dropped the ball by allowing some of their unique features to wither and fade away, finally being put out of their misery. Even the new games don't seem to have the allure of old, just one clone after another it can seem.

The answer is, of course, "shop around". As one offering gets tired, there is always someone else ready to come along and innovate. I have already discovered that "spin races" (as opposed to wager races) exist elsewhere, and have also found a tournament lobby that looks almost like a clone of the soon to be withdrawn MG product. The downside is that some of these venues have had a recent SOW issue for UK players which has soured their appeal somewhat.

I absolutely 120% agree with you. I think I should definitely start shopping around as well. Why stay loyal to one place when you’re not valued and treated as such.

Not really correct Vinyl. Loyalty do pay. No place have rewarded me more for being loyal than 32Red and for that I will always be grateful:thumbsup:

Even tonight it paid. I just cashed out $250. Could have been more but i had a hard time stop playing:oops::D

Thanks again Mark! Keep being the good guy you are:thumbsup:

It would be interesting to see what players stay loyal to 32red now the promo has finished, but I guess we will never find out.

Mina I am so confused, what is it you are upset over, I just dont think you have explained yourself very well?

I’m sorry but which part of my message confuses you?

Thank you Mark for all that you have done for the past years. We truly appreciate it. Although really sad to see this end as it was something I always looked forward to on the 1st of every month. But I guess all good things come to an end. So thank you, Mark_32
Btw, thank you so much for doubling the bonuses!!!!!
This was on June 1st. The original message was on May 9th and this on June 1st. No mention of commenting “double my fun “... into June 3rd when he changed it to because someone complained that some people never comment here... so I thought he was looking for those who never comment.

The thing is, even 32Red is becoming more like the others. It began with the chipping away of player benefits, such as next day withdrawals, weekend processing, no more flushing on request. There was also the chucking out of players who had originally been granted "Club Rouge for life" under the original company and management structure.

On their own each one probably doesn't make much difference, but added together they make quite a difference from the old 32Red many of us knew back in 2005. It is quite possible that they will lose players to some newer outfit that is more like how 32Red was when it first started.

Now that 32Red itself has been swallowed up by another company, there may be bigger changes ahead than the dropping of special promotions for individual forums. We have yet to see if any changes are good or bad for the ordinary players.

At least 32Red hasn't frightened it's UK players away with draconian SOW requests, and this would be one change that UK players would not welcome.

I understand exactly what you mean. I’m one of the top players that have placed top 5 every month I just use a different username to comment on this thread.

Now I suddenly understand. I mixed you up with the mina from Australia, who always are nice and friendly and treat everyone with respect. I thought something must have happened since she never would have reacted like you.
Now it turns out it wasn't her and that was actually a relief;)

I love this :) So you... Sara

Just to further explain some of my last post (which was in no way meant as a complaint) as I hate to thing it had caused offence to the very generous Mark.....

Regarding my misinterpretation of this post in the first week of June:

To qualify for the June double payment you must comment ‘double my fun’ in the thread. Anyone who doesn’t by the end of the month won’t qualify and the saved payments will be distributed to the active members.

Good luck!

I made the wrong assumption that this would mean the players currently active (as in those who were around this month). It never even crossed my mind that it could mean ‘most active’ throughout the whole comp time. My bad x

ok so you use a different username here, so did you comment 'double my fun' before the 1st July? if you did not then sorry but its tough, the whole reason it was put in place is so active members HERE not at the casino got their money doubled, its not Marks fault if you never read the rules

Pretty sure this isn't the thread in which to critique 32Red's shortcomings.

I always had it down as the thread where players got free shit for nothing, could be wrong.

And trust me, I don't want to see the comp end but 10 years is a phenomenal run. Easily the best giveaway we've had on here, and now everyone's getting their knickers in a twist over doubling the prizes....that Mark didn't even have to do

Had some disagreements with Mark and don't frequent 32Red as much as before, but good luck getting another rep to do this again on CM

Yeah thought about this more later but backed off to avoid becoming public enemy No.1

Bet Mark put his head on his pillow and simply thought "Why do I bother?" - I know I would have.

NOWT PERSONAL TO ANYONE (once again) but I do feel its a crying shame it ended like this :(
Shut it Jon, God, always chiming in at the wrong time :p

(Joking!!)

Ended how? I thought it ended great:D

That VWM are negative towards casinos is nothing new, just to be ignored:laugh: and it has to be at least one player that's not satisfied. The rest of us are pleased and thankful as we should be.
Now smile instead:thumbsup:

I was 3rd in leaderboard appearances, 5th in total rewards, yet ended up with the 6th place bonus prize - go figure :)

Thanks again to Mark for the prizes over the years and for everyone taking part :)

Always me, you know that :D

...and with that I bring my contributions to this thread to a close. It's been great having you all, now take care and have fun and remember when the fun stops, start a foil hat thread :D
