I am not disgruntled at all Mark. I appreciate both 32Red and you for consistently providing this promo over so many years and the time and effort it must take you to work on. I'm also not unhappy with not receiving an award. I was simply confused by the terms and completely understand that your unable to please everyone.
Congratulations to everyone who won and if 32Red run another promo I will be in,just as I have been with most of your comps since I joined

It goes without saying how much the community appreciated this competition and I wish each and every one of them the best of luck!

I just hope I was not partly reasonable for the misconception that the inactive players prizes would be distributed between those who participated. I did chat to a lot of members about how I believed the prize structure would work and I only hope I didn't encourage anyone to play more than they should have in the hope of an added reward.

Despite not being one of the lucky ones, I do feel your decision of awarding the special prizes to the most loyal customers to be ultimately the correct one. This was a promotion that was suppose to last 1 month, but was continued for 10 years!!! It seems only fitting that those who receive special prizes are those who contributed the most over these years.

Again I apologise to anyone I chatted to about the prize structure and I wish each and every one of you the best of luck in the future!

I can't tell whether you also think we're also wrong for not adding more. Sorry if so, but being 'skint' isn't part of the decision making process. This was an additional promotion on top of existing player offers. Many of you will have been playing with 32Red bonus funds or collecting points towards other leaderboards while getting rewarded (at very low WR) here. In fact, I'd go as far as to say this was a loss-leader in terms of promotions if I could look at the overall P&L.

Members who've been here 4-5 years (such as myself) need to remember some SM/CM'ers have been here double that amount of time.

Maybe I could argue "where's my extra" as 32 Red is almost like having a secret mistress to whom I've always remained faithful, however I'm not greedy and just happy to have had my prize doubled.

Let's not forget all the added extra Mark/32 has run over the month's/years, not just SM, also I struggle to think of a single promotion than comes even close to the generosity of this one!

I think you misunderstood me matey and I am somewhat also shocked by your reaction.

I used the words 'sour' from Mark's earlier post and merely (and now wish I hadn't) turned it into an everyday phrase.

I was not aimed at anyone, it was not intended to be malicious, it WAS intended to maybe calm things down and now it has done the opposite.

I wish now I had not bothered and will be ultra careful moving forward when I do contribute to this forum

Ok Mark, I dont think thats fair, it goes beyond doubt that everyone is grateful for the tourny, and it did not end up sour, I have no idea what Mina was on about TBF, I just asked a simple question based on what you had said you did say the funds would be distributed towards the active members, you never said it would be the active members of your choosing. Yes thats your decision thats fair enough.

I think what everyone needs to remember is loyalty is not based on the amount of money spent its where whatever budget you have is spent and the years you stay, through some very unfavrouble changes I might add.......... so no (Jono) its not sour grapes and its not greedy.

Well if it helps, I also bust out. It was quite painful going from £200 to £0 in 30 minutes, but that's how gambling works and I always blame myself. Sure there was suddenly that voice in the back of my head saying I deserved more, and that's why I hate "that guy" .

One thing I've come to learn about gambling is that there were always 2 versions of me. The guy who's winning, and the guy who's losing. Truth be told, I've never liked the guy who was losing and nor would anyone else. He would complain about the most trivial things feeling unjust. These days I keep that guy under a lock and key and look forward. It's all swings and roundabouts - today I'm the guy who loses were as others win, another day I might be the guy winning and the envy of others.

Ask yourself that if you had won today, would you still find this an issue? This is not meant as an attempt to belittle you or discredit your opinion, I'm just trying to say it's not worth caring about.

They changed it someway when they got a new bonus system. I know I read about it but I thought maybe there was a way.

Thanks Mimi. The whole point of the make a comment thing was to make sure those who interact with the forum were rewarded. After all it was a forum promo and people pointed out that people were being rewarded without contributing to this great community.

Mina, sorry you are unhappy, if you choose to close your account over this I can only apologise again and wish you good luck in your chosen casino. I hope you have a rethink at a later date.

You are not wrong, but many customers don't know how things work internally. I am sure you have been allocated an overall budget to run this promotion, and would need permission to overspend, which is probably unlikely to be granted. However, when a customer is told finances are so tight that an extra £1000 simply can't be found in order to make something fairer, it can give the impression that the business has very tight finances overall.

This must be a tiny promotion in the overall scheme of things, and there are other 32Red leaderboard promotions running, although they are based on total amount wagered, unlike number of spins.

There is another thread about the "ongoing diabolical promotions" that seem to be afflicting the whole online casino industry in general, not just specific "tight" casinos. Part of the problem is that it's the various promotions that make each casino different, and will have a significant influence when many players decide where to play.
