Maybe you'll have better luck with your birthday present!

OK Simmo, forget also about the birthday gift, maybe it's just for whales (or it was one of thr many negative aspects of a 38th birthday: no presents and alone in Prague with kidney stones - that is no women and no beer...). Try to make a good use of zour affiliate revenues instead

I have to agree. I forgot about this casino and then I got an e-mail saying that they are back in US and to let them know if we want to open up my account again. So I mailed them that sure open it up. Then I get this mail back from them about a comment I wrote here a long time ago about this casino. I said that something to the affect that it was disgusting how they hide the number of times you have to spend the amount of your deposit before you get the bonus. it was like 20 or 25 times. ( it was so long ago I forget) But I do remember how tight they were. It was either 50 or a hundred I put in and it lasted just a few minutes.Nothing back at all from the power poker I play. I never played there since. I am thankful that they sent me the e-mail they did, I would have never remembered this probably until i played again and saw how tight they are. I completely forgot about this. I play so many casinos and most are great I try not to dwell on the casinos I have had bad experiences and would never play again at. I like Riverbelle, Casino us, Lake Palace casino. I play them mostly.

And the bruhaha about 32Red is...???

I can name a dozen - probably many more - equally good and BETTER MG casinos, and can extend the list further into Crypto and RTG - both of which offer several FAR superior games to Microgaming.

32Red must be the tightest casino around - take more than two (Jeez) $32 (Jeez) monthly promos and you're out for the count.

Someone tell me what distinguishes 32Red from Trident, VPL and Fortune Lounge. VPL have had the occasional customer issue and FL have admittedly had many, but they both offer FAR better comp programmes to their players and all those groups pay very fast. Although Trident kicked me off the comp programme in record quick time so I've no reason whatsoever to plug them, they either equal or surpass 32Red in all departments.

Someone tell me what distinguishes 32Red from Intercasino and Sands. FAR better games, FAR better comps, fast payments and barely an issue.

Someone tell me what distinguishes 32Red from Inetbet and Phonecian. FAR better games, Phonecian throws out the occasional bonus, excellent CS and few issues.

Yep, I just don't get what sets them apart, and the implication clearly is that there is SOMETHING - otherwise who'd give a damn that another otherwise nondescript MG casino starts taking US players, when all the others do?

Fill me in.

I beleive that online casinos won't stop bonuses because it's the main thing that might attracts new 'fishes'.I like the idea of getting bonus due to my loyalty.I wouldn't play as I do without bonuses because I always feel that no matter if i win or lose the games might be 'fixed'.I would never bet serious ammount of money online and i think many of us wouldn't when a landbased casino is accesible.I trust online casinos fairness but I don't TRUST them.I can't trust any online casino to a degree that will make me bet 1 grant on black:rolleyes:.....

yes i take your point gfk - what i was really meaning was "signup" bonuses. I think these will be replaced more and more with "loyalty" bonuses.

PAD: That sounds like a bad day :( but on the bright side, you're still closer to 30 than 50 ;) Whats Prague like then - worth a weekend away would you say?

32Red may be a good casino, I wouldn't know, but I do know that I will not play there for they accepted U.S. players, then dissed us. So they are dissed by me!!

They're advertising on Hotmail.

Life must be sweet pickings at 32Red.

what a PR stroke of genius - ditch the US, accept them again (LOL, what changed?? Absolutely nothing) and have the fact posted on a prominent gambling forum. Something totally irrelevant suddenly becomes newsworthy.

What'll they come up with next?

Hi again everyone

As ever an entertaining discussion! Thanks again to those who play and enjoy 32Red, and are generous enough to share their experiences with others. I thought I would pick up a couple of items discussed, as there is some misunderstanding by some of the forum members....

clj7221 - I believe we did respond to your email request for your account to be re-opened recently. All we asked was for you to confirm that you were happy for your account to be re-instated, bearing in mind your feedback to us in the past. I think it was a civil and responsible question, but I am sorry nonetheless.

jinnia - thank you for your feedback, but please be assured that 32Red has never implied any disrespect for US players. I hope you are confusing us with another casino?

Caruso - broadly speaking you asked what has changed to encourage us to welcome back US players? One of the most important factors we considered was what is happening with the legal framework in the United Kingdom. The day we finalised our decision was the day the Gambling Bill ostensibly set sail for the statute book in the UK. I realise that you will be familiar with all that entails, but importantly for us, there is no likelihood whatsoever of UK licensed operators barring US players. In summary, that's good enough for us.

Kind regards

Subject: US Domiciled Players

Dear Deborah

Account No: 32RExxxxxxxx

It is with regret that the directors of Trafalgar Betting & Gaming Ltd
announce that effective from midnight (UK time) 31st January 2004,
players domiciled in the United States will no longer be able to play
at the 32Red Casino or 32Red Poker Room.

We would like to thank you for your support in the past. We have
very much enjoyed serving players from the United States of America
and we are disappointed to be taking this action. However, it has
become increasingly difficult for us to operate in the US market due
to external pressure being applied to advertisers and credit card
acquirers.

Your account will remain open until 31st January, at which point it
will be permanently closed. We urge you as soon as possible to
ensure that any balances you have in your account are either played
at the casino or cashed in.

We are keen to ensure that if you have a balance in your account
and wish to withdraw it, that we process your funds as quickly and
as smoothly as possible. If you have a balance of $10 or more, simply
access the 32Red bank within the Casino and cash-in your chip as normal.
If your balance is less than $10 and you would like us to remit your funds,
rather than play them at the casino, please contact us at
accounts@32red.com or call us on 866 8679230.

Please note that if we are unable to return your money to the source of your
purchase of chips, we may require verification of personal details from you.

As you know, we operate a strict privacy policy and your account details
will not be passed on to any third parties. However, we intend to put forward
a recommended casino operator who is happy to market their service into
the United States. For the avoidance of doubt, this email promotion will be
sent by 32Red (and not the alternative casino operator), on one occasion
only.

Once again thank you for your support in the past and please accept our best
wishes for the future.

Kind regards

Ed Ware

Thanks Jinnia

Perhaps I am missing the point here. I think the email you have published shows respect, although we were disappointed to have had to take the action. The thrust of the message was that we have enjoyed serving US players.

Hi,
I never mailed you. You sent me an E-mail to re open my account. I forgot what a bad experience I had at your casino. I don't dwell on these things. I have fun at most casinos I play. But thanks for reminding me. It was certainly weird that you would even mail me to re open my account though.

Dear cheryl

Account No 32RE000xxxxx

It is with great pleasure that the 32Red Online Casino and Poker
Room announces it is re-opening its virtual doors to players from
the United States.

We missed you and look forward to seeing you at the tables again
as from midnight in London, that's 4pm PST and 7pm EST today.

You may be preoccupied with national events today but if you feel like
hitting the tables while the votes are counted, then you are welcome
back to Casinomeister's Best Casino 2003, 32Red.

Some important information for you:

via instant chat or use freephone 866 867 9230. Our service team
will help you through reactivating your 32Red account. Unless you
contact us, your account will remain closed.

# 32Red is synonymous with fast and smooth payouts. Current
restrictions on credit cards for players from the US do not enable us
to refund to your card. Therefore, deposits at the Casino and Poker
Room may only be made using electronic wallets such as Neteller,
Ecocard and Firepay.

# Casino players can claim a Reload Bonus of 32% on their next
deposit. The terms and conditions mirror our current Welcome
Bonus, details of which are available at www.32Red.com.

# If your game is Poker, you can get up to $50 from 32Red
Poker. Again, the details are covered at www.32RedPoker.com,
but if you have any questions, just let us know.

We hope you like the new and improved Casino and Poker Room,
quite a lot has happened since you were last with us! We are on
standby 24/7, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you
require our assistance.

You're not missing anything at all here. I did not say, you talked badly of U.S. players, what I said was, you accepted them, then dissed them, now will accept them again. Why the ping-pong play?

Hi Jinnia,

I really don't get your point. "Dissed" in the American colloquialism means that someone is disrespected. I don't see that happening here, and I don't see any "ping-pong" play. I see a company that at one point decided that the American market was risky (which was thoroughly explained in my newsletter an interviews last winter), and then making a decision to accept Americans several months later (now).

Why is this a problem for you?

I think in his usage of the term "diss", it means dismiss!

No, dissed does not mean disrespect in America, it has different meanings to different people, depending on where you live. And my meaning to it is, they 'rejected'/'dimissed'

We all have our own feelings toward certain issues/events that makes it a problem or not with the individual.

Plain and simple, 32Red was taking U.S. players. Then stopped, now accepting them, when the American market is just as risky if not more so now.

Only reason they would come back is there not gaining enough profit from the European players
and decided to open it up again to The US.

My assumption is Their not profiting enough From European players and those in the Pacific Rim and decided to open up back in the US.

There was no reason for them to leave. The US is the strongest and most affluent large Country. Perhaps, if they hired more has been actresses, like Patsy Kinsit, they may have made it here a while ago. Speaking of which, my belief is that they couldn't meet customer service standards demanded by consumers in the United States. I played there myself once. All I remember is their page with Patsy Kin sit inviting me to play in her own voice. Why couldn't they have hired James Earl Jones, the voice of CNN and Darth Vader of Star Wars fame. We don't like fly by night, sloppy customer service operations. I couldn't even redeem my bonus a couple of years ago, because I had to wager it something like twenty times! Hello, anybody got a brain at that casino. No one is that stupid, unless you are in Denmark where gambling fraud is common, lol. Have fun with this one Bryan as you suck in your next brewsky.Lol, I am drinking mine from a baby bottle marked BudWISER, lol.

Thanks Lanidar:)
I am trying to find how to post my Royal Flush on here.
Bellrock is really the best. They have the greatest customer service. I remember when I was having problems with netteller the other week and the money didn't get in. I did not have to wait long. I called the casino gave them the transaction number and they put it in manually. And when I call them to Flush the money they do it. other casinos I play wont they tell me I have to wait 48 hours. BellRock is The Best!

I think they had concerns whether their licence allowed them to accept US players given the unclarified legal status of online gambling in the US. Ed Ware should be able to tell you more. No business would give up its probably largest market easily.

32red is certainly not a fly-by-night operation and the statement "they couldn't meet customer service standards demanded by consumers in the United States" is just ridiculous. I have had excellent customer service at 32Red, I wish every other casino were this good. There are many casinos with terrible customer service, which allow US players and seem to survive.

P.S. It's Kensit, not Kinsit.
