Yes, and that's why the feature buy is far more irresponsible on some games/bonus mechanics than others. White Rabbit you're pretty safe for a while due to the feature returning regularly 70-80% on average of the buy-in cost when not hitting the biggie. EC and Genie Jackpots etc. pretty much the same barring reckless gambles. But this game just really isn't suitable for feature buyers. I notice a lot of the UK type high street/bookies online casinos (skybet/paddy etc) have the feature buy disabled.

Either they know something we don’t or it’s their way of trying to show they are ‘responsible’

Im not a fan of bonus buys . Ironically , buying a feature is the same as playing a very low volatility slot on a huge stake

I think this is a very overlooked fact and a reason these feature-buy games arent conclusively dominating non-feature-buy games like you would expect if they were as predatory as they seem.

The max theoretical win is somewhere in the region of 90,000x standard bet. It can pay up to 17,700x on every free spin with the x300 multiplier.

If you take the feature buy cost at 60x bet then the max. is about 1,500x bet.

Well changing bet to 1-line dramatically changes the win frequency and volatility of the slot, which is why I always roll my eyes when I see these posts about hits like that one. When switching to 1 line you are removing the majority of the RNG values that pay 0.1-3x for example, so now even a poor 2 or 3OAK becomes several times stake and your average x bet win value rockets.
