Just wanted to say thanks to 3Dice and Jackpot Capital for the nice birthday wishes. Even though I don't deposit very often at either place, they were nice enough to send a birthday wish.

Now the other two casinos that I spend the balance of my playing money at, all I can say is what goes around comes around. If you can't even send a 'Happy Birthday' email, then I won't be bothered to deposit and play at your casino. I didn't expect a free chip but an email would have been nice. You manage to send me the deposit bonus email daily. Heck, I even got birthday emails from Rivals that I can no longer play at. LOl!

This may seem petty to some of you but it is the small things that make a player feel appreciated. And an appreciated player will continue to deposit, win or lose.

I understand where you are coming from anniemac. I recently had a birthday also and I could have repeated your exact post. My deposits for the year probably total 2k in one group and like you, I never even got an email.

Casino's may think it doesn't matter and it doesn't affect future good will and future deposits but it does. :D

Happy Belated Birthday! Thought it was very cool of you to acknowledge the positives by name!

Obviously, the other casinos (the ones you didnt mention by name) don't understand the benefits of showing their clients a little "love" back.

It is my birthday tomorrow. It will be interesting to see which casinos acknowledge that and which don't. At least I know from this post that 3dice and Jackpot Capital will.Hopefully :)

It's not petty at all.

It only takes a second to send an email. No casino is under any obligation to send free chips or even acknowledge your birthday, but its a very nice touch to do so. I actually think it sorts the wheat from the chaff in many ways.

Happy belated Annie!

I must say when my b-day passed I did not get anything from JC and was quite shocked by that considering I deposit and played there and am VIP. As Nifty stated, even an aknowledgement is much appreciated.

Yasmeen is to be commended. She saw my post in another thread, went out of her way to PM me and had a bonus placed in my account. That speaks volumes, so I know where you are coming from!

Hope you get a win from your bonus play!

I understand. There is a very well known respected caino here that I spent a lot of money at. NOTHING not even an email for my bday this year. Have not deposited since. If I wasnt important enough for a bday email, then they dont need my money.

On another note, JC as always been cool, and they never forgot my bday:)

I think casinos should make more of the opportunity to issue birthday bonuses. The holiday season upcoming usually sees quite a few, or at least bonus offers. This represents a large number of freebies at once, or bonus offers.

Birthdays are spread relatively evenly over your player data base over the year, so it's not a big lump at once. Should be pretty simple to kick out a list of birthdays that month, and total deposits and last deposit.

A five dollar free chip is like buying me a drink, something total strangers have done for me in the past, and something I certainly expect from the bars I frequent often.

Our gambling budgets are our entertainment budgets. I get some quite nice gifts from the land based casinos I patronize, and I was remembered this year by everyone I play at frequently. If I hadn't been, I would have been right miffed.

Give me whatever WR you like, and whatever max cashout you want, but I like to spin, and you can control your costs and spread them out over all the calendar months.

It really isn't worth losing a loyal customer over a potential $25 cashout, and it's a great opportunity to get an occasional player back.
