$250 free roll tournamnets

I would like to know if anyone has won on the $250 Avalon free roll at 32red/dash etc. I have came 2nd place just once without re-buying or continuing play, I won around £34 as the cash has to be converted into sterling.
Has anyone done the same? Or is that really jammy?

I play the 250 freeroll almost every day. As far as I recall I made one second place and ended up in the money ranks 3-4 times.
