Hi all,

The reason I stopped playing at Rival is because they kept updating the game software on slots.

Watching games update every couple of weeks is a worry to me. It has me questioning if someone is screwing with the reels.

Well I logged in 32red 30 min ago and yep another software update.

I click on Break Da Bank Again.... and that gets an update too

Why?

It's not a new machine so why is there a need to update the software?

All I can tell you is there are bugger all safe's hitting now.

Me thinks MG has been weighting the reels

Cheers

Sighs i thought it was just me noticing this issue. I lost all the new games in one mg casino reason was upgrading. Some of them are tight enough as it is.
Deck the halls and sure win was the other 2 that took them forever to get back up.

Hi All,

I just wanted to clarify something here...

Although I discovered this occurrence at 32red today, I'd like it noted...I have no reason to suspect any iffyiness on the part of 32red. For what it's worth (IMHO) the lads at 32red are as straight as they come. I think every one would agree with me.

My understanding is that when logging into your MG casino account the software checks the MGS update server & updates the software if need be.

My only question is why does a slot machine need to be updated if it's not a new slot?

Cheers

Many of us have been wondering about that for quite some time. Even when new MG slots are added, very often, some older slots also 'update'. One of those things that makes you go, hmmmmmmmmmm......

Thought I would investigate.

CONFIRMED

Classic lobby "double launch", and my hard drive is churning away & my modem shows data being sucked in by 32Red casino, YET IT IS IDLE, just logged in.

This was a sizeable update, yet no new games:confused:

Having waited till the hard drive and data sucking stops, I have entered Break da bank again, and no "updating".

It seems that you will see an old game update if you try to get in before the update has completed, the software has always prioritised a game when it is selected.

It seems Trezz's suspicions are confirmed by me - old games have indeed been updated. Can't say how many, and what the updates were, but IT IS WRONG, and HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS given that MGS WILL NOT SAY WHAT HAS BEEN UPDATED, yet will advertise widely when the update is new games.

To allay suspicions of cheating, MGS could simply tell operators what these interim updates contain, and they can tell players to ask. Secrecy generally indicates someone has something to hide, such as our MP's being so keen to exempt their expenses claims from disclosure legislation, they failed, and now we KNOW they had something SERIOUS to hide which has threatened the very integrity of our parliament, but was kept under wraps for DECADES.

MGS - just come clean, what was updated on 22nd June 2009?
