Reading had a good team for a while in the EPL, I might be imagining this but I recall a player with red/ginger hair, possibly a midfielder Seem to remember him being a good fantasy football pick.

Maybe you mean Dave Kitson, he played a key role in Steve Coppell's team when they confidently won the Championship, but later injuries spoiled his career in EPL. I remember, also, there were some scandals associated with him when he complained that the fans bullied him because of his hair color.

Yes that's him, he was a decent player.

Steve Coppell was a good manager, at crystal palace and reading he created teams with an interesting blend of players for not a lot of money.
