121 Casino wagering requirements

Hello all

I've not posted on here for eon's (as I haven't been gambling much until lately).

I'd like your advice/opinions on the wagering requirements for the above casino that I recently signed up to - here's their website: http://www.121casino.com/en/home.

My initial deposit was £20 which earned a 300% welcome bonus, so my starting balance was £80

The casino sent me a welcome email and told me my bonus had been added. The terms and conditions relating to the bonus wagering requirements were included in the email and sate the following:

Bonus details:

Wagering requirements are 30x (times) the deposit and bonus amount before
withdrawing any bonus winnings.
Bets placed on all forms of Baccarat, Live Baccarat, Craps, Roulette, Sic Bo,
Black Jack switch, Black Jack surrender, Black Jack Multi hand, Pontoon and
Video Poker Double do not count towards the wagering requirement.

All PLAY BONUS credits are for wagering purposes only.
Bonuses will automatically be removed from players' accounts after a withdrawal
request.

If you wish to play any of these excluded games, please contact
support@121casino.com to have your bonus removed before playing these games
(please include your Username in the email).

The casino reserves the right to withhold any amount in excess of the player’s
original deposit from a player's withdrawal if the bonus is wagered on the above
games, before the wagering on allowed games is completed fully.

All bonuses must be fully wagered within 18 months from day of acceptance. Any
balance or winning balance that was created by a bonus which has not met its
wagering requirements after 18 months will be cancelled.

Management reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this offer
at any time. Management's decision is final.

Anyway, I played this through without winning or requesting to withdraw anything. I make several subsequent deposits for small amounts and then win 330 on slots. This puts me ahead and so (unusually wisely for me!) I decide to make 2 withdrawal requests (one for 200 and one for 130).

If I've read the T&C's right, the casino should honour these requests because the winnings I am trying to withdraw were not generated from the bonus.

Do you think I've got this right, or have I missed something here and the Casino will still require me to play through £2400 worth of deposits (which is 30x original deposit and bonus) before honouring my withdrawal requests?

Your advice would be most welcome!

If you zeroed out your balance before making the additional deposits then there should be no problem as at this point the bonus was lost and this also zeroed wagering requirements. But if you deposited more with there still being a non-zero balance, you need to complete the original WR.

I THINK I zeroed my balance, but quite often there are "insufficient funds" (just a few pennies) left in the account which get topped up!

It is really difficult to tell as I can't find a way of viewing my play history as you can with other casinos. I can see my transaction history but that only lists deposits and withdrawal requests.

I hope I'm not about to learn a hard lesson here!

If you can remember which game you were playing and the date when you zeroed (or near) your account: Open that game and click on the "menu" tab bottom right of the screen, and then select "History"
That will give you your play history, starting with your last bet - so it's easy to see what your finishing balance was.

I have read through this casino's T&Cs and can see no mention of WRs carrying over.
This is not good as it COULD mean you have to finish the WR even if you did zero out. It's impossible to say for sure - you'll either have to ask the casino, or just wait & see what happens with your withdrawal...

I'll do some digging and see what I find (although there were an awful lot of games played before the win)

I wonder what the position would be if my balance got down to about 4p and then I topped up?!? - I guess it would be a hard lesson to learn!

If you were able to cashout your entire balance then it means that the bonus wasn't active there anymore, because otherwise the bonus amount would have been subtracted from your withdrawal (Phantom Sticky bonus). So if this didn't happen then I believe you are good to go.

You are absolutely right - all withdrawals have been processed and honoured by 121 Casino.

I think there is an important lesson here though and that is that when you do accept a bonus, and don't win on it, it is really important to completely zero your balance before making any further deposits, otherwise you could still be subject to the bonus wagering requirements no matter how little residual balance in your account is. I did this more by accident than design and got away with it

Fully reading and understanding the T's&C's before depositing a cent is absolutely essential . . . and something that many will simply ignore.

Also as an aside to this, before 121 would authorise my deposit, I had to go through a document verification process which involved providing them with:

1). A copy of my drivers licence (front and back)
2). scans of any credit cards used for deposits (front & back with middle 6 digits on front and cvv pin blanked out)
3). A copy of a utility bill dated within the last 3 months
4). A signed deposit confirmation declaration that I accept any charges already made and any that I will not dispute them in the future (for each card registered).

Seems onerous and I was not entirely comfortable sending this info by email/fax.

Anyway - thanks for all your advice and I'm glad to report a happy ending and also a Casino that has acted "honourably":clap:

I think that Playtech has or at least used to have a system that if your balance drops to low enough (something like less than one euro or pound) then the bonus if forfeited automatically. Seems like this happened here even though you didn't zero out completely. But zeroing out completely is still very important to remember because not all casinos or softwares have this system (even one cent remaining doesn't nullify the bonus).
