Hi community,
I just wanted to share a bit of my life with you. I went to see doctor at the end of March because I was having random headaches, there was strange taste in my mouth randomly and I began to have problems with vision. Initial diagnose was migrane but I'm glad the doctor decided to magnet scan my head. And thus it came to my knowledge that I had a huge tumor in my brain. The tumor was 7cm long and the surgeon was shocked that it didn't show any symptoms earlier since he estimated that the tumor has been growing on my brain for at least hree years and even the smallest tumors can cause much more severe symptoms.
Things got rolling pretty quickly since in two weeks I was laying on surgeon's table. The surgeon was extremely worried that I might get some or all of the following, my left side limbs would be paralyed, my right eye would lose vision completely, I would get epilepsy and lose my sense of smell. And of course I could've died straight during the operation. Luckily all of those were avoided since the surgery went better than expected as the surgeon put it. Aftermath was that my left eye has permanent damage which makes me unable to see the left side of my field of vision, I have like 45 degree vision to the left unlike normally your eyes see roughly 180 degree. And while recovering my right eye has very limited vision but it gets better (I hope) everyday. I don't have any pain but my medication makes my blood pressure and pulse very high (this morning my numbers were 166/121 and pulse 101) which makes relaxing and thus falling asleep difficult.
But anyways I'm glad that my situation is as good as it is now. Casinomeister forum has been a huge source of entertainment during my stay at the hospital and it will continue to be during the rest of my recovery. I got two months sick leave so this is a good time to start racking those big win pictures up
Just wanted to share this with you since I've never had experienced anything like this and this has given me new perspective on many things. But I'm still going strong and life is good.
Cheers and appreciate your health since after all it's one of your most valuable things in your life
