Have we all gone over to "The Dark Side"?

I do not post much anymore since I am on hiatus with online gaming. One too many fights with Rival, RTG's that chew up deposits and spit them out, etc., etc., however, I do still read the forum and hope things improve. (I'm basically a "glass is half full" type of person.)

The one things that stands out (hell, doesn't stand out, it jumps out and grabs you by the throat) are the sarcastic, snide, ridiculing, ungracious, belittling comments lately. I know I've been defensive a couple of times when standing up for something but this is getting way out of control IMHO.
We all are snarling at everybody...new, old, doesn't matter.

This is like watching my husband, his brother and their five sisters all yelling and screaming at each other. That was 10 years ago...3 of them are now dead. Life is too short and don't waste time on skirmishes when there are battles to be won.

I hear ya oldtrvlagt life is much too short to waste time with hate and misery and the company it keeps. Laughter is much gentler on the bod too.

Ok, when I first read the title "The Dark Side"? , I thought OMG, someone else watched Barnabas Collins and the soaps...well, then I read it again and busted out laffing because then I read it again and thought geez...maybe we have gone over to the dark side...with of all the high tension going on lately..

So from soaps to ...what...SOAPS...we got it all here..

I think the stress of playing online was really getting to many (including me) due to the way we believe how the games have become..

As I said before, and many before me..if it isn't fun no more...move on...and many of us have..(including me). I thought it was getting a tad quieter myself though lately, since so many have found other outlets such as me with our newfound monies..(after stopping playing I got me a nice bankroll)...

This is my pet project now...see below...and I am having a ball!

From no kitchen to almost done! Just a little more and I will have a very nice kitchen! Everyone should try this kind of therapy..it works great!

Nope, just thought it would be a good way to move away from playing online and focus on something else..we had an estimated of almost $35,000....I said pffttt...so me, my husband, and my two sons went in and started demo'ing...it was a mess for a long time...but we saved $2000 doing the flooring ourselves, $1700 in the demo'ing it ourselves...I got a great deal on the appliances ..I will NEVER go back to a side by side...I love my french door refrigerator with DOUBLE freezers on the bottom (this was one weeks of monies saved with no playing...I couldn't believe how much I saved! so I splurged )

Yup, we are coffe drinkers too and tea drinkers...I have 2 more things to do and I will be done...need pendant lighting over my island and my tile backsplash...

Dinner is at 6 PM ... Soon...lol.. It was awful washing dishes in the bathroom sinks too!

I did mine just a year ago and it has the same cabinets in a different wood. I love it every day and I specifically love the way they can be positioned at different heights and do away with that regimented stark line of cabinets kitchens usually have.

I broke it up even more by using opaque glass in some of the cabinet doors. I wasn't sure how it all would turn out when I started it but now I enjoy it immensely.

Me too on loving it. My old ones looked like soldiers all in a row too so I decided I wanted som demension to it this time...it looks great (if I may so say myself )

I envy you your refrigerator!! :notworthy So many years, I've always wanted one with the freezer on the bottom.... Hate my huge side by side... all that room... but NO room for anything... know what I mean? I can't even fit a full size frozen pizza in the freezer without moving shelves... sheesh...
