So a slot I've not played in ages having been so engrossed in all the latest high variance games.

Lost Island start balance £62.50 - 550 spins and 34 hearstoppers no feature. End balance £92.50 bets varied between .40 and .80p. Kept going as base game was playing amazing for 3 and 4x wild line hits.

Your thoughts and experiences? Walk away up or keep chasing?

650 spins no feature 35 heartstoppers balance £82.20

*Once I hve chased FS for little over 1000 spins in GOT 243...that was epic fall (burned 300 of balance...)

**After some 20 spins I got FS at Pretty Kitty (very average win).

And then - nothing (FS related).

For 870 spins. Then bonus came and gave 4x. Fortunately, I had enough balance and dedication to my rule that I have to stay 25-30 spins after FS and after 4 spins came full screen of maicoon cats (657x)...

***I have great difficulty getting Jungle Jim FS and I usually quit after 200 spins. In last 20 sessions I had FS only twice...I admit that I hate this rotten slot...

And that is why you should never bonus chase.

It will always be a bad outcome 95% of the time when you do. just my opinion anyway :D

just recently bonus chasing as been paying of huge for me.

there is some certain slots i will not bonus chase on // koi princess and raging rhino

First off, I'll be the first to admit to Bonus/Feature Chasing - quite often actually.

That said, I understand/recognise the risk that I can make 1000 spins and wager £1000's in order to hit a feature that could produce 0x!

I, like many, have no hard evidence but from years of playing I believe that Features, like normal spins, are pre-determined. But what about the Randomness you ask?! Well, you take Tens of Thousands of players, across thousands of casinos, depending when they hit spin/deal/ber etc., at that precise moment (and bearing in mind how computers can count in what, nano seconds) they request and recieve an outcome. A simple of numbers to a computer which effortlesy deliver thousands at once.

There's your RNG - each user is the random number and the generator isues from a pre-detimerined list of outcomes.

Atleast, that's what I believe.

To answer your original question, as long as I'm up on a slot and hitting decent line hits, I'll play until I hit my original starting balance, or I'm bored, or up a lot.

The bonus is not more likely to come on the next spin than the last one.

Been a couple of years since I could play NetEnt, but I call Lost Island Loser Island generally. I know it's capable of decent hits, but often it is a long time to trigger a bonus that does not pay well at all.

IMO never chase a bonus with a second depositl

I almost never leave a game at peak balance, with or without a bonus round.

But I'm not sure that matters either, because we never know. Even though I use terms like running hot, or stone cold, I do believe the spins are independent.

Better luck next time.

I think chasing a bonus is completely senseless as there is a very good chance that once you hit it, it will pay 30x and under. I very rarely go over 100 spins on a slot aside from bonanza obv.

With that said, I do chase on occasion before I play a slot. If I have $100 left the odd time I will say ok Immortal romance til bonus or bust. And just let its do its thing.

I'm finding more and more that the base game plays a whole better than the subsequent sterile 'bonuses' that eventually pop up.

Of course this tends to happen more often on the higher-variance games from experience, but attempting to emulate those combos in free spins is generally never going to happen, so grab 'em while you can :D

I can recall all those great bonus rounds off by hand but I'll be damned if I remember every 100x base game hit. Mg's 9-liners are notorious for doing that out of nowhere I've observed.

So ultimately if the base game keeps paying out as in the case here, I'd certainly raise bets so that when the bonus does come, I'm up a couple of hundred and have got that out of my system.

And then I'd move on

And never play Jungle Spirit

I find there is only one thing I despise more than non existent features and that is features that come up and do not pay out anything

I played this slot which is actually 4 slot machines - its a well known version, green writing about breaking the bank, anyway the safe feature comes up ever 3 minutes, brilliant I think, going to clean up here & then nothing, out of about 30 features I may have won 100 credits if that

worse than that though is that while on the 5 free spins, you win extra spins hand over foot & yet nothing, not even after 15 spins

The person who came up with that idea, well I am all for voting to have them dealt with

The other thing I have noticed is when you get on a machine that is paying out, well I literally start to think something is broken
There was one I was playing the other day & the normal pattern is gradual loss then a big win, gradual loss then a big win, this one which is a falling gem game that turns coal into diamonds was going off

It was not normal though, got a few biggish wins but it pretty much did the exact reverse of what they normally do as in I gradually increased my winnings over about 6 hours - It was no big amount at the end, was up around $100 but played for all those hours on an initial $50 which was not bad

Also find that consistently keeping the bet at a high amount was a losing proposal, the time I did it, it went stone cold dead, then dropped the bet back down to 50c and like clock work, it started paying out

Break da bank again bonuses are usually a pile of shite. It is a very high variance slot

Chasing bonuses in Playboy and Bonanza was a disaster yesterday. Why do I keep doing it?

At least my sessions in that Blueprint Jungle Book slot, Gran Muerto (!) and Game of Thrones recouped all those losses.
