Hey, expert spinners,

I tried to find an answer online but maybe someone here can help me. Briefly, do online slots have memory of how much they have paid you?

For example, if Gonzo's Quest always starts with a €2 standard bet (as opposed to the bet amount I used when I played last), does that mean that I have the same chance of winning in the beginning of play as well as in the end?

If I win on a slot, say GQ, close it and reopen it, does it treat me like a new player or 'know' that a few spins ago it paid out?

I know casinos have cookies but I'm wondering is it only for passwords?

/sorry if it's a confusing. I was just playing, won nice on the bonus round and started thinking, whether I should change the slot because "this one knows I just won on here" or does it have no difference.

Brief and easy answer: No.

Unlike pub and older arcade fruit-machines, online slots are (with very few exceptions) completely random.
No memory at all - each spin is an independent random event.

As KK stated above. the answer is NO.

All spins done on a slot are random and as soon as you press the spin button, it already has generated the RNG results for that spin. So if it was a spin that triggered a bonus round then the amount you will win in that bonus round has already been determined and that doesnt matter if it is a pick me bonus or free spins bonus. The amount you won has already been generated by the RNG when you pressed the spin button.

I should also note that there is a very good thread where you can get a lot of valued information in too. You could have asked this question in that thread, But i think it might have already been answered though.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks KK, thanks DreamRJ.

Will definitely check out that thread (and by that I mean open a new tab in chrome and, most likely, close it in the evening when turning off the PC).
Seriously, it's a good thread. Subbed.

Keep spinning :)

The two answers are correct (although a small amount of what DreamRJ said is not strictly true for every game provider)... There are a lot more details in that thread and I go in to as much detail as I can without getting sacked! However, it is large so always feel free to ask in that thread and I'll do my best to answer even if it has been asked before...

Enjoy your slots
