New Slot Announcement Sakura Fortune by Quickspin

Just tried it out. It's very similar to Black Knight II from WMS but rewards you for getting the stacked Wilds with extra spins. I really like it and will definitely play it a lot at the casinos.

.

Very nice looking game with great game-play. I am a big fan of stacked/expanding wilds!

Unfortunately it seems to be yet another low variance slot from Quickspin where even a full screen of the top paying symbol "only" pays x400 total bet (if I am not mistaken - I am not a pay-table expert).

I am sure it will perform well, but it is not a game I will play for real money.

I prefer games where it actually means something to hit a few full wilds - on this game it means you might get your stake back.

Not strictly true because of the cumulative effect. I actually hit a spin yesterday in the base game of several hundred x - I hit wilds 3,4 which expanded, giving 2 respins. On the first I got 30x, then on the second the wild reel 2 dropped awarding another respin and a 70-odd x win. On the last respin the bonus dropped reel 1 triggering 9 games which went on to have 3 stacked Wilds for the last 3 spins and paid another 320x stake.

In the bonus ALL wilds expand whether 1,2 or 3 land and all become sticky plus you get the respins added as extra free spins as in the base game.

I think it's a lot better than that leprechauns bollocks they brought out last time.

I agree.... Leprechaun's was the weakest QS game in a while...

Yeah I see your point, but for me this game is just Starburst all over again with slightly better win potential as it has a free spins feature etc.

Did anyone else notice it's a clever play on words sa-kur-a fortune. Secure a fortune. Mind blown.

Well this slot must seriously be securing a fortune for casinos. A slot with a good idea but terrible pays most of the time. If I want a bolicking I think I will stick with the original Dark Knight or Dark Knight II. I will say this though the girl in the slot is tastefully presented (fully clothed in non-sexy dress) which is quite refreshing from other recent Asian themed slots. cough cough (Beckoning Girls anyone:p)

Good luck with that, as those games were withdrawn a year ago...

I did not know that since I have been playing mostly the Rhino. Still I might and its a big one might give Sakura's Fortune one more go and if she bins me off it will be on my never to play again list.

Seriously I have done better with Novo slots recently than with this slot and that is saying something. I guess what has me so pissed off about my experience with this slot is that at least with Novo, Merkur et al you expect to be fleeced and should only attempt with a high starting point but with Quickspin slots you expect some play and maybe not a huge profit or a huge loss for that matter.

Yesterday I think I had one tease with 3 possible expansions but the bitch didn't show pissed me right off she did. I think most of the RTP in this game is in the bonus and achievements which frankly look insane to reach a bonus of a high value.

Did you mean Black Knight or Black Knight II by WMS as they have similar mechanics to this slot?

I played this for the first time this week and I must say the presentation is superb. Found the graphics a bit glitchy during the wild expand presentation though; the top part of one of the symbols didn't always display correctly. I was using Firefox so I might try a different browser next time.

I found the gameplay quite interesting because it feels like there are two maths profiles being used (one with lots of base game activity but the free spins pay poorly, and another with a low return from the reels but the feature seems to pay a lot more when you get it), and the game switches between them. Might not be the case but that's how it felt. I know other games do similar things.

The most annoying thing was when I had 3 wilds land in the base game, survived the expand chance, and then only two wilds expanded. You'd surely expect all three to expand. Very disappointing :( Happened twice, so it definitely wasn't my imagination. Only two reels were held and the third wild span off on the first respin.

The slot overall is probably slightly too low/medium variance for my taste, and it's hard to see where any really big money is going to come from. But it's nice to see something a bit different, and the achievements part of the game is a nice touch :)

Yes I did did sorry I had a brain fart and put Dark Knight I did mean the WMS slots. The WMS ones are far superior to Sakura Fortune that's for sure.

I have noticed something interesting about this slot in Videoslots they have the coin thingy in the top left hand side of the slot and on VeraJohn they don't so is that a Videoslots only thing? and if so does that impact the RTP of the base game? Just wondering because that would definitely explain the way it plays at Videoslots as opposed to Verajohn.

It is supposed to be at all casinos as its build into the slot? At other casinos you should try check inside the game try clicking settings etc and it should show up. I will have a look at Vera John now. It was officially launched by them that that coin feature would be in this slot.

I have checked and no its not there. Really strange way to send out a new slot then ad Achievements engine. I would go so far to say this is really bad. So at VeraJohn and other casinos you dont get the extra rewards but at videoslots you do???? Something not right here i would call it big mistake from Quickspin and bad style. Clearly they should had taken it out at all casinos added the feature then made them available again.

The coin thingy is on the Casumo and Videoslots versions

It's not on the Ikibu or Rizk versions either. I know the VeraJohn one runs under the Malta Gaming license and the one at Videoslots runs on relax gaming platform under license from Curacao so maybe that is why they are different? Different licenses and all. I am not saying that anything untoward is going on but I find it weird that's all.

EditI don't like more than one version of a game running around. One starts to wonder does Quickspin offer their games at different RTP's for different casinos much like Thunderkick and RTG.

Edit: Is there a Quickspin rep on here we can ask about the difference in this game at some casinos? If there is an error they ought to be aware of it and like you said PaaskeDknowUk the game needs to be pulled if that is the case

its just plain crap .i like quick spin but again theyve fallen on the fence , i get the respins & things problem is after many features on it even with base free spins paying 30x - 50x it dies of death in main feature & happens everytime , if you have the first two symbols your get a few wins & if you then get the bonus symbol on reel one , your in trouble because it doesnt show the wilds after this , i always seem to get one & adds 2-6x bet feature done.

so you have a couple of poor games that leprechaun crap & this as well , clearly not heading in right direction ,coupled with piss poor paytables.

I can answer any questions you have, I'm the CPO at Quickspin.

The achievements layer is an extra loyalty layer that operators can choose to enable or not. The game has its standard RTP regardless, achievements allow for additional return on your play. Basically it's a casino loyalty program that is based on turn over to give back a portion of expected losses. In the same way that you get cashback rewards from different casinos, we've added this on a game level. The tokens that are paid out can be used to trigger the feature of the game (the free spins bonus in the case of Sakura), and the outcome of that feature is treated a marketing cost to the operator.

A large amount of operators have gone live with it, some need to enable it still while they are fixing some technical issues, and some will not go live with it at all because they already run site wide loyalty programs where they feel that adding our achievements on top would become too expensive.

We will continue to support this feature by adding it to old games (Dragon Shrine will come early May, others will follow soon), and to all future new releases (our next game comes out in June). Tokens will be shared across our games, so you can grind tokens in one game, but spend them in another.

Some may remember Spin City, a native casino app we built with Unibet, which had very similar functionality (trophies, tokens...) and we have gotten good feedback on it there. I hope it will be seen as a valuable addition.

It was certainly done by a cunning linguist.

Secure A Fortune? On a Quickspin Slot? Don't Make Me Giraffe.

I get the feeling some people might call this game Sak-De-Merde instead.
