Worthy of it's own thread now as the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot from MicroGaming has today passed £10,000,000.

Reaching it's highest ever level, the jackpot has been growing since April 2015 and is expected to be won at any time. Whilst randomly awarded, bet size plays a big part in entering the bonus round. However, John Orchard of Lincolnshire won a staggering £5.8m on just a 30p bet in December 2012 at Butlers Bingo.

It will be interesting to see where and how this jackpot is won. There is some talk that MicroGaming have allowed this jackpot to reach new highs and wouldn't it be great if it was won on a mobile device, in the UK and at a low stake :D

Worth mentioning that the Major Millions progressive has also reached a new-record high today!

Good luck

I feel confident it will be hit this week. We all like to think this and this. But you do have to feel that something has been set so it would go past 10 million. But from what I know they can not do anything to make changes or can they?

Well, ran through a $100 deposit and $100 match today... about 1600 spins @ .60, and not even a chance at the wheel:mad:

Noticed the major was up to over 50K... I would have settled for that!

play it at 10p if you are just going for the jp it can be won on any bet... your odds of getting the wheel are the same otherwise it wouldn't be a random progressive jackpot

If it is randomly awarded then any talk of Microgaming 'allowing' this jackpot to reach this level is basically suggesting they can fix their slots - which would ring alarm bells. I think it is more likely that the RNG just hasn't delivered the winning jackpot line yet.

It's worth noting that the Dark Knight is linked to exactly the same jackpot and a far superior slot in my opinon. If you are going to chuck some money at a progressive in the vein hope of winning the jackpot then you may as well enjoy your play.

While you can win the jackpot on any bet, your chances of triggering the bonus wheel and a chance at it are higher the higher you bet. Once you are at the bonus round though, the odds are the same.

I love TDK, with it's stacked wilds and multiple features. I do enjoy playing it, but I'd rather have it without the jackpot to be honest, like the original LOTR slot.

I can only dream of winning a life changing amount like that.
When playing I always pop over to the slots that share this JP,just to give it a try. :)
Have triggered the wheel a few times but always came up with minor or even nothing on the wheel. ^^

Not quite so, I believe the chances of you getting the wheel are increased by the amount of your bet, However once you are on the wheel you have an equal chance of hitting the big one .

I would say anything is possible with my recent 'paranoia' regarding MG but that's a conversation for another day and another thread ;)

I REALLY hope a CM regular wins it!!!!

Tried the dark knight today have rarly played it before, and i gotta say its gotta be one of the absolute worst slot games i have played. The amount of losing spins are staggering. I think i had 30 or 40 losing spins in a row.

Not a fan myself as too much of the rtp is tied into the jackpot...but I've seen a few fair decent hits in the winning screenshots thread.
I'll take TDKR over TDK any day.

I would have guessed it the other way around, makes more sense... Chance of triggering the bonus the same, but higher bets give you a bigger chance to win a bigger jackpots. Won a few minor ones each about 100$ but always on a bet around 4$... Mostly i triggerrd with a lower bet i only got the mini... But of course can be just a funny coincidence....

I'm not sure about the Microgaming progressives, but i would say that the bigger the bet size the higher the chance of triggering the wheel, and in the case of the triggering anything but the mini jackpot it will also have an increased % chance on the other 3.

This % will still be astronomically small for the top jackpot though regardless of bet size.

I've had a few punts on them over the last few days and ive never seen the slots being hammered so much - the amount of money the jackpots have raised in a few days, and the almost spam like frequency of "A player has won the jackpot" across the screen :)

I have read a few times before that the jackpot "pool" amount is in £UK; If someone wins in a different currency, only the value of the jackpot in that currency is removed from the pool and given to the player.
i.e. If you won it you would get 10 million Rubles (about £96,000) and the jackpot pool would be reduced by that amount, taking it back to around £9,900,000.

Still a nice sum to win, but "ouch" if someone did win it playing that currency.

Would be like winning the UK lottery and finding you are sharing with another 200 winners.

Or getting 4 numbers and it paying out less than 3 numbers lol

I always wondered when it is decided which jackpot you win. Is it the moment when you spin in the base game or is it the moment you spin the Jackpotwheel?

And i would like to know how many spins in total were made since the last jackpot was won. :eek2:

And yes, i want a CM member win the big one too

I would play Isis or 5 reel drive don;t like Dark Knight and my fortune on Regular mega moolah recently has been diabolical! Isis 6x multiplier in free spins/5 reel drive 5x multiplier in free spins... Just saying...

This is also how I understand it. The jackpot is won in the players currency.

Shameless plug - double loyalty points at 32Red until it's won. Check your emails :)

Mark, I understood that you can't earn loyalty points or Tier Points from playing the Dark Knight. And I've been playing it at 32Red a fair bit this week.

Am I mistaken?

Also, I didn't get any e-mail.

Sorry Mark, ignore my last post.

I just logged into 32Red and it's all explained in full detail there.

Nice promo by the way
