Hello,

Pleasure to meet you :) hope you're well. I was wondering if you already have an AffUtd.com account as I would very much like to advertise on your site with William Hill.

At William Hill we offer high commissions (CPA or revenue share) and flexible partnership offers.

If you're interested, I am available on skype, email or phone, so we can work something out.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

To give you some background, I've been receiving these sort of pushy emails from these people for years - it even prompted me to place William Hill in the reservation. And yes, I have an AffUtd.com account that is pretty much dormant. Here was my response:

Hi xxx,

Please read this. Thanks!

Grey Zone Casinos, ex-accredited and more - Casinomeister

Cheers!

Bryan

To save you the effort, this is what I referred her to:

William Hill has never been listed in the Accredited section. They almost were when they were a Cryptologic powered casino, but since they went Playtech, things got a little weird over there. Some of it has to do with being associated with the Israeli run Affutd, their affiliate program. Affutd is just CPays revamped and relaunched (cpays.com redirects to affutd.com). Back in the day, CPays was notorious for using black hat SEO and other unorthodox methods of casino marketing. As long as Will Hill is associated with these guys, they can forget being accredited at CM.

Some players enjoy Will Hill, but there are plenty more casinos to choose from. Why eat at McDonald's when you can eat a real steak?

And just to add, the bigger the casino is, the more detached it gets from the player and webmaster community. I get regular spam mails from their affiliate managers, "Hi, I was impressed with your site and I wanted to promote our products on there." blah blah blah. It's from some guy sitting in their marketing office in Israel who is too lazy to do five minutes of homework, e.g. reading the Becoming Accredited section which is linked to every page on this website. I won't do business with inattentive, pushy, ad salesmen.

And here is the response I got:

Well there you go- I’m expressing my interest! :)

Which available positions do you have available?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

:what:

So I wrote back:

You've actually proven my point. You haven't bothered to spend 5-10 minutes researching Casinomeister, nor have you bothered to read this:
Becoming Accredited: The Standards | Casinomeister So why should I do business with a company that hires lazy employees?

I don't deal with pushy salespeople, so there you have it.

Sincerely,

Bryan

And so she writes back :D

Well maybe it was because u sent the WRONG LINK, and if you don’t want to get paid- be my guest. Good luck with ur site! U sure need it :)

Wrong link? I sent two very important ones.

So, my point is proven. Pushy sales people - lazy, can't bother to invest any time looking at a website. And I can guarantee that next week when the moderators and I walk the walk at the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, these people will be clamoring to try to get on our sites.

I refuse to deal with people like this - if this is the way they treat their "partners" how do you think players will be treated. It's like a fleecing factory.

Good luck with ur site! U sure need it
It's like dealing with a seventeen year old. LOL

Very professional - NOT. However will Casinomeister make it without William Hill and their top notch marketing team??? ;)

i love how bryan is dealing with these people or crooks joining the forum.
U a funny guy (see what i did there ? :) )

I get these sorts of e-mails all the time too.
I'm probably not as polite as Bryan when I reply though - especially when it's an operator I am already listing on my website!
If the morons can't spend 2 minutes looking at my website, then I think that they don't deserve a civil response.

Wow suddenly it all becomes clear!

If this is how they treat Affiliates and fellow members of the industry it is little wonder their 'positive' attitude has trickled down to their userbase, whom they treat as something they've just scraped off their shoe!

They are an abysmal outfit that have become a running punchline and a boil on the arse of the industry.

Oh and Bryan, keep your chin up. U and Ur site may suck but I hold out hope that things will better

Possibly some low-paid youth - clearly an unprofessional one - doing the minimum and eking out the day in the bowels of the marketing department.

Probably, but not a good defense (not saying you listed one).
Even minimum wage guys have to bust their butts and conduct themselves professionally if they expect to climb the ladder. The fact noone is overseeing this is worse as it doesn't say much for the management team either.
Back and forth 'text-speak' might be ok once you've developed a strong relationship (and really, not even the best idea then) but the casino shouldn't resort to a snappy retort as it reflects poorly on the whole group.

WH, good luck with your dodgy affiliate recruitment, you'll need it as I have enough accredited sites to choose from for my next deposit.

There really should be a 'Discredited Casinos' section here, not quite rogue but once a decent outfit. William Hill would definitely fall into that category, they are like the drunken Uncle at Christmas, funny yet pitiful :drink:

Yup and Bet 365 with their dodgy 25% reloaded bunus with 30x (or may be 20 or 25x) deposit and bonus WR which still makes unreasonable WR.

At least 32 Red give you a fighting chance with their 30x bonus :)
