These guys are scam artists, and spammers. Let me explain.

Back in april I played Golden Tiger, and I won a little bit. Then in June I played Blackjack Ballroom, and I won again. Then I am not playing for a few months. They send me an email a few weeks ago saying if I join Lucky Emperor they will give me $110 bonus for deposit of $100. I say ok. I sign up, and I lost my $100. I try to collect the bonus, and they say that I cna not get the bonus because I don't risk my own money. Huh?! Can I get the $100 back that I lost that I didn't risk? I email them and they run me around so I say, forget it. I lost my money, it happens.

Then they send me more spam asking me to sign up again. I write back and say stop sending me this spam because you guys are crooks, and you don't give what you say you will. Then today I get an offer that says, we put 2000 points in your account. I figure maybe they are trying to get me back since they scammed me. I go try to redeem the 2000 points and I get the same message that it is denied because I don't risk my own money.

What is with these guys? If they don't want me to play how do I get them to stop the SPAM. What is this Ecogra I hear about. Are they part of that?

I don't think they allow you to collect more than one sign up for all their properties. I don't know if they make that clear in their Terms or not. That might be the source of your trouble. I would have to see the terms for the free 2000 points.

eCOGRA is an organazation that awards a seal to casinos who meet quality standards. Casino Rewards is not a member. A casino has to ask to be considered and it is doubtful they would ask and certain they would not meet the qualifications.

Had you signed up through SpearMaster you might be in a stronger position. He is working on rehabilitating them now, but normally he only represents those that sigh up through his portal at Got2Bet. Something to consider for next time. Given that he is currently talking to them anyway, it may be that he would look at your case.

You might pitch a bitch with Casinomeister. He has said in another post that if people are having trouble with this group, he wants to hear from them.

Please let us know what happens. They should give you a better explanation then you have to risk your own money. That sounds like the "we don't have to give the bonus to bonus hunters" excuse - which is only a justification for rogue behavior.

Generally, this group should be avoided by recreational players. More professional players should proceed with cauation and I would run it through Got2Bet until he gets tired of fooling with them.

I would like to hear a bit more about this, even if you did not sign up through Got2Bet - but I cannot guarantee any results.

More professional players should simply stop playing at this group for the time being - I doubt that most players will have any difficulty but those who apparently sign up more than once are encountering problems - and professional players will sign up at each and every casino and I certainly cannot be of assistance if in some way these players are determined to have breached some other condition which I am as yet unaware of.

Thanks for the assist, Stanford :)

They're quite happy for you to signup and get the bonus at each of their casino's - that's assuming you lose.

Never had any problems when I wiped out at the first two that I did, however after a decent win on the third one I did (this was over the space of about 3 or 4 months BTW) they suddenly wouldn't let me redeem the bonus at the fourth.

This was about year ago now and I've vowed never to go back.

I really can't understand the idiocy of these lot - all they do is annoy current players by sending them emails with signup offers for their sister casino's and then refuse the bonus.

All this is going to do is alienate players and mean that you don't play with them in the future. With the cost of attracting players ever increasing this is surely bad business.

For the record they've got some term in there stating that they reserve the right to refuse the bonus which covers them. Never seen any term mention that you can't receive bonuses at more than one of the group.

while im not a big fan of casino rewards, and I dont like their streaky wins/losses, I have to admit they are honorable in processing cashouts. I have never had a problem with a cashout with them and it is extremely easy to set your preferred method through the casino rewards website.

I dont particularly like to accept bonuses at any website, because I usually start betting with 2k or so, and 100 dollar bonus doesnt tempt me. So i am unfit to comment on whether or not they start the funny business if you win big after a bonus. I did redeem two signup offer bonuses on zodiac and blackjack ballroom, and each of my cashouts were paid promtly after the wagering requirements were met. Then I lost it all back plus another 3k hehe

I have seen some of those. If it is like the ones I have seen I don't believe they represent good practice. If they offer a bonus and the player fullfills the terms, they should pay him. An escape clause for fraud is one thing. For profitable play, it is just rogue behavior.

Like you, I don't know why they don't just play things straight up.

Right now I wouldn't go back and play anything - even without a bonus. I am afraid I will have zillions of wager requirements from signons that I completed ages ago.

imho,

Spearmaster,

I would have signed up through your site but the offer came in their email. Not sure what other details you want. Feel free to email me.

This is what they write:
"you may not redeem more than one sign up bonus within the Casino Rewards network, regardless of the individual casino offering the sign up bonus".

CasinoRewards.com is a part of the Casino Rewards group that deals with Affiliate Partners. However, the Casino Rewards Group is the group that owns the following:

Yukon Gold
Strike it Lucky
Blackjack Ballroom
Virtual City Casino
Golden Tiger
Lucky Emperor
Zodiac
Golden Tiger Poker

Similarly, the loyalty scheme for all these casinos is handled through the CasinoRewards.com page - You can log in to redeem your loyalty points.

So.. in summary, yes that website handles the affiliate side of the above casinos but is also the host for the loyalty scheme for players.

Casino rewards at it again?

I have been given a 'special gift' as a valued customer, only to have it 'locked'. They say that losing 100 of my own money is not risking my own funds as I 'lost' the 100 bonus alongside it. It would seem support are unsure of the exact interpretation of their own terms, and encourage players to sign up to other group members with the beauty of having all their loyalty points in one account to use at any of the casino's. BUT, I won my 100 back with my second ever deposit (at Yukon Gold), and suddenly I'm no longer a 'valued customer', and they helpfully suggest I deposit more money, without claiming a bonus with it, and demonstrate risk (do they mean lose it all?). I did at least refrain from depositing at Golden Tiger, as I had by then spotted this thread, and their offer of a further 'extra' gift for depositing 500 during October 'disappeared', and no-one in support had heard of the offer!
I have at least retrieved 50, but my winnings are still in Yukon Gold. The casino account is not locked, just the 'rewards' participation. It seems they don't like winners, but those who lose everything are showered with 'gifts' for depositing more. It was certainly available for redemption BEFORE I won 170 at Yukon Gold!, and support were anxious that I wait till my cash-in of 50 (I did this to verify they would honour it), had cleared before redeeming my points. Gave them time to lock the account after audit I presume.
They appear to be based in Australia, support told me this as they said I should phone during the day, so I asked where on earth they were, as it was 'day' here(UK) and in the states!

need not bother with Got2bet

I had the exact same situation before, lost my moneys in 3 of their casinos and they told me I didn't wager my money. F**k it. Then when I had problem withdrawing funds from the 4th casino, I seeked help from Got2bet. But sorry there is equals to nothing that he can do. With all due respect I know he is offering help voluntarily and I must assure you that the problem is on Casinorewards side as they pay no respect for G2B.

Yeah I did get my money, but I had to send in tonnes of documents. And in the end I still couldn't redeem any bonus points I justly deserved.

A garbage group, period.

I am not sure what all happened but I agree that casinos use bonuses to troll for compulsives. This is the single biggest arguement to support banning Casinos in the U.S.

The U.S. just had a Republican dominated election with exit polling showing "values" as the key reason. Expect to see the thumpers take off against Internet Gambling soon. And don't expect players like me to bother to write our congressman in support of Casinos.

I have done that in the past. Interesting letter I got back indicates that they are very aware of the loophole in their legislation and they know how to close it if they choose to do so.

Casinos should honor their terms without retribution.

imho,

CasinoMeister has asked in the past for problems with this group. It sounds like you met some terms but was unable to redeem a bonus. If that is what happened, pitch a bitch.

I am not clear on what happened and what the Terms are.

They simply used their catch all promise breaker term '..... for any reason whatsoever'. So, in theory, could simply lock the bonus if they feel a player to be 'too lucky' when they first start playing. I didn't take advantage of, by far, the largest bonus as Golden Tiger, and ignored the completely FREE $10 from Zodiac, but continued to play in Yukon Gold, and only withdrew a small amount to verify them as 'honest', I.e they wouldn't start finding fault with 'unclear' ID and registration details once I had deposited further and perhaps won one of the competitions, or even a progressive payout. It is surely responsible gambling to remove part of the original funds when you are ahead, it requires a further 'step back' from the thrill of the chase in order to put the funds back. Leaving a large balance in the account can lead to taking on higher risk wagers, and ending up with it all gone, as Microgaming software frequently goes through prolonged bad spells, where the payback drops to 60% to 70%, occasionally even less. I have known Blackjack there run to a loss greater than 40 times level stake, with nothing more than the occasional run of two consecutive wins, with dealer runs frequently of 5 to 10 wins on the trot. Of course, I've had the opposite, winning 300 on blackjack with a 10 level stake, with the DEALER only winning the odd couple of hands while I have runs up to 12 on the trot - but when it's over, it's like a switch is turned, the change of mood is so sudden the deck can't be shuffled directly from a random generated parameter.
If they want me as a regular player, they have gone the wrong way about it, Music Hall for example, have seen fit to elevate me to Silver VIP status, and I had only been playing for a week! (although I didn't win).
I have already written off the bonus, but their terms have NOTHING that allows the confiscation of a win - the catch-all clause relates to bonuses.
