The way to approach slots is to set yourself a "time / wager" limit. If you're playing $2.50 spins at 12 spins a minute, that's $1800 an hour through the machine, which works out at an average of...errr...$90 loss. If that's too much to handle:

    Play slower.

    Play for less time.

    Switch down a denomination.

Keep switching machines - probably saving at least 10 spins per switch.

    Play blackjack for a bit.

That is the only way to properly view your slot time. THEN, you can have all the winner screenshots you want, with a clear idea of where you are in the grand scheme. It takes a lot of the fun out, but it has a huge upside: you know the EXACT cost of your play.

It's nice getting a little insight to how you approach online gaming Caruso.

    Recently, I've been alternating both
    BJ
and slots (Thunderstruck is always good to me... and occasionally Tombraider can be BRILLIANT... occasionally). I seem to do okay at
    BJ
(haven't said that in some time) if I don't leave myself hanging for too long. If I get up about $20 or so (I play minimum and double on feel/gutts), I give myself an allowance of about $10 to play Thunderstruck, or about $15 to play Tombraider. If I get another $10-15 ahead from that point, I switch back to
    BJ
, and continue from there. I don't find it boring at all, and it prevents the money from getting TOO numb from all the winning and losing streaks (at least for me). I generally do well using the "KasinoKing-method", as opposed to chasing miracles (which FOREVER burns me).

, you need to read a few books on the subject before you dismiss it like that), but your money lasts fully ten times longer on average..
You are right. Only I have an experience in
    BJ
, I have read books. My problem is I NEVER win in
    BJ
. And it's too slow, no action for compulsive gambler as me. I love Roulette, because you can win 1:36 - I play mostly plein and consider Roulette as a very exciting game. I play using my intuition because you can't use any system in Online-Roullte
    IMHO
. And I am ready with slots - I am back to Roulette. But I won't delete my nice screenshots, nice memories and $$$$signs in my eyes...

In addition - to play Roullete is exciting if it's not rigged.
But I've noticed lately (since ca. 3 Months) it's very selten nowdays...

Ah that's why you should play Video Poker.

Blackjack is rather less the alternative to slots than video poker it is.

Slots players like the excitement of big wins.

With blackjack you get that too, but it takes longer. You can easily turn £500 into £1000, but not normally in one hand.

The thing is that video poker has a similar cost to blackjack, but has bigger wins. Payback for big wins comes in losses of course, and for every big win you will have many smaller losses.

What it doesn't have is the range of features designed to draw you in - glossy bonus rounds, chests containing 'treasure' etc, free spins. With video poker there is less reason to keep playing for the free spins because there aren't any.

I guess they could. Some of the new IGT games are pretty exciting. More video poker innovation would be interesting, although maybe the manufacturers believe they don't need to because they can make more money on slots.

With the good reviews on this board for 32Red I signed up Friday. I lost my initial deposit and sign up bonus.

Saturday I made another deposit and hit this:

Customer service was excellent told me since I made my deposits via Neteller no fax back forms required, the way it should be. They flushed my withdrawal and said it will be processed Monday and the money will be in my account in 24 hours after process. Is this true?

If you like double bonus poker, you would probably be best at William Hill. They are as reputable as anybody, capitalized at >£2bln, a British household name, with hundreds of physical presences in the UK, and they have Crypto's paytable, which is considerably better than microgaming's. In fact with their comps you will get >100% return.

And you can't say fairer than that!

Yes Cryptologic's Double bonus poker has a great payout. Intercasino is my favourite, I had some software errors with WillHill that just didn't work out.

32RED gets praised all the time here, despite having arguably the worst comp point payout in the whole online gam(bl)ing industry!

    I play
    VP
a couple of weeks already and I like it. But I guess I double too oft and that's why usually don't win too much. But it's fun!
