Not sure if there is a threading regard this aspect, but if you have had many, many, Wildstorms, you are left 99.9% gutted and wondering how a bonus that can give 2,400,00 coins, just gave you ....0 lol, anyways here`s mine, I was nearly out of cash and on the lowest coin spins..

Nice shot,

You are right, I have had some great hits on Thunderstruck II but the Wildstorm one still eludes me. I am lucky to get 2 wilds :) and you don't see many of these in the winner screenshots.

Cheers
Matt

For the record, this was posted by another player on a different forum:
:notworthy

Bloody hell lol , the most wilds I have had was 3 once, when I was playing some free spins and paid just under £10 for a .30p spin, this was the 1st wildstorm after my achievements needed was reduced to 2 (5 scatters and 4 wilds), I like many others have giving up playing TSII now, I think we all wrongly thought that the longer we played and more achievements gained the better our chances of hitting more wilds.

I played TS11 solidly for the best part of 4 months and have around 20-30 screenshots of huge wins mostly from the features, the only screenshot I took in the last two months of playing this huge cash drain was when I hit 5 wilds (screenie is in the 5 wilds/scatters thread) a soul destroying £90 odd pounds, I would almost 100% guarantee that the same time and money spent playing TSII would have yielded far greater results playing any other MG slot.

/cheers

I play TS2 all the time as its my favourite MG slot. I quite often win but nothing huge.

After tens of thousands of spins I still cannot get 4 or 5 wilds, 5 bonus scatters or more than 2 wild reels on Wildstorm. :(

........ and I have got the Wildstorm feature a few hundred times so the odds of 3+ wild reels must be pretty low. But I will keep trying.

I am still wondering if it is true or not that -when into wildstorm feature- to have more than 3 wild reels, the player must have completed all the payment table, including 5 wilds and 5 scatters.

Can anybody confirm or deny this, please ?

I have never heard this. it s more more difficult completed all payment table. i see one time the 4 scatter and 3 wild but not more

If that was true, the game would be rigged.
New players would have zero chance of ever hitting that 2.4 million coins jackpot.
So no, I think and surely hope that rumour is NOT true.

Edit: What about that 5-reel wildstorm KK posted?
Was it for real or was it a photoshopped one?
Anyone know?

As far as KK`s link to that screenie goes I rang Ladbrokes up and was reliably informed that if that hit was genuine it would have been in the monthly big wins hall of fame, I was put on hold whilst the woman checked back to and including May 2010 (release month of TSII), and was told nope, no records, so it was a photoshop.

As far as the all achievements for the Jackpot to trigger, I read this pre release on an affiliate website, it had an in-depth review of TSII with many screenshots, so the guy who wrote this review was either beta testing or had connections with someone beta testing, it distinctly described the achievements and Wildstorm link in great detail, the site however is no longer available :(.

On a footnote regarding this aspect, the only time I have ever hit more than 2 reels in a Wildstorm was the 1st Wildstorm after reducing achievements needed to just two (x4 wilds x5 scatters), I hit 3 whilst playing some free spins, but alas it sucked monkey balls as the 3 hit were reels 1-4-5 lol.

Sorry I cannot be more help regarding the achievements/Wildstorm scenario.

Great investigative work Seventh777.

Wildstorm is a bit of a sham bonus feature but I still find it very exciting. You just never know what it will give you. I just cant believe I havent got 3 wild reels yet.

Thank you :), it boils down to common sense really, would you want a slot at your casino that has a Jackpot of £24,000 for a .30p bet?, there has to be some form of restrictions in place :).

I dont agree.
They should at least make it clear that you cannot possibly win that jackpot unless you invest 3 times that amount (or more) to complete that stupid achievementspage.
What do they think I am? A stamp collector?

Now ppl are chasing a jackpot they cannot possibly win.
A perfect example of a rigged game if you ask me.
But its MG, so I guess the'll get away with it, as usual.

At least I'm now 100% sure I'm never gonna play that game ever again (was: 99.99%)

My biggest gripe with this slot is, upon release you could quite easily sit on it all day for a £50 deposit, the features were awesome 90% of the time, and even more noticeably when comparing now to then was the relative frequency it would drop a nice wild based win ie:- wilds with the same symbol below or above them, like Aces, so you would end up with upto 16 full reel hits, nowadays TSII is terrified to drop the blues in, hell any new casino i`ve played TSII on in the past few months, I don`t even have the x3 blues achievement, upon release and a good few hours of playing you would have hit 3 blues several times and 4 at least once.

As this slot payouts are based on blues related wins as none wild wins are crap, and it`s blatantly obvious that these have been tightened a lot more than feature payouts, it is IMHO if the jackpot is achievement related then now would be a good time to remove this restriction, as no-one in the right frame of mind is going to play this once awesome slot due to it`s utter crap nowadays status lol.

I can't say for sure that it wasn't a photoshop, but I think it's extremely unlikely.

(If that link doesn't take you to the right shot (because I have my forum settings on 40 posts/page), it's post number 320 in the Screenshots thread).

Regarding what you saw posted on affiliate site which doesn't even exist now - well that could have just been pure speculation. I also find it extremely hard to believe that if getting all the achievements really DID lead to some "jackpot win", then MG would be only too keen to point it out in the game rules, to further encourage players to try for it.

Just IMO...

I tried that link and it sends me to cached pages, and when I click on a screenie link I just get the ooops broken link spam:(, well the affiliate site could have been pure BS.

How much control would the software have over a feature like Wildstorm?, i`ve had 4 Wildstorms in 5 spins before, admittedly all were crap, but and it`s a huge but, what if 1 or more paid the 2,400,000 coin jackpot?, maybe if this scenario was indeed the truth, MGS wouldn`t want the general public knowing.

Slot jackpots are spin related in accordance with the amount of spins possible and the overall payout percentage of each slot (afaik), if there is a 1 in a thousand chance of hitting the jackpot it is still the same odds even if you had just played 999 spins yes?, but at the same time if a slot is set at say 94% and has been very tight is it not the case it will balance the books sooner or later and go on a win frenzy?, so, how much control is possible over a completely random feature that has the ability to payout a gigantic 80000 x bet jackpot?, how would the casino managers react to this kind of slot in today`s climate, knowing only full well that if this jackpot was hit with a maximum stake of x10 coins x5 (£15) it would cost them a cool 1.2 million.

Even a x4 reels Wildstorm win can yield a massive return, there`s sequences of two coloureds within the 3 slot places, even more so in Wildstorm as the normal Wilds and Scatters are removed, that`s x81 winning lines of a random number 9-Ace, and x2 81 winning lines of two coloureds, if those coloureds are Thor and Odin and the number is an Ace it`s £810, £729 and £243 respectively giving £1782 for each base unit of .30p gambled.

Okay there are many new slots with adjacent reel paylines at MGS casinos, but how many of them carry jackpots based on a purely random feature proc?, I dont think there are many casino managers out there that would welcome with open arms a slot like TSII without some form of restrictions on not how many times it triggers, but how many reels it buffs, when it does.

Oops, I rambled way to much then sorry lol, the last bit is regarding Ladbrokes and that screenshot, when I rang I spoke to a woman named Jo and she could find no relative history of the win in question, feel free to ring them also:), the only reason I wanted to find out about it was to see if the guy had got all achievements.

Not forgetting ofc the $64,000 question, what exactly was/is the purpose of the achievements anyway?, and to all those whom played TSII upon release, remember the feature which capped the feature achievements and how awesome it was?:), this doesn`t happen anymore :(.

Anyway`s cheers

P.S.

Not forgetting the software designers and the present status of online gambling, they have to take all this into consideration when designing slots for todays market, look at most of the slots since May, all can give extremely more for less (more win lines = more chances to win = more won, philosophy), but, as we all know, it`s a whole heap less for more, how many of us would have sat at a slot pre world recession times as it coughed out every 10th spin a meagre .04p win for a .60p stake, in hope that all those beautiful stacked wilds will come together very soon.

Do we really think the wildstorm pays are linked to the achievements?

Personally I think it's a complete load of bollocks.

The whole myth probably started from someone's theory about why it's so hard to get 4 or 5 wilds and took on a life of it's own.

The simple reason why it's so hard to get is because it is a HUGE payout!

When was the last time anyone hit 5 wilds on TS1?

How about 5 wilds on tomb raider?

The only thing that is random about wildstorm is when it hits. If anyone thinks the actual result isn't tightly controlled they are kidding themselves.

It's the highest possible pay,so you expect it to be near impossible to hit.

You can bet your last dollar that MG would be advertising the link if it existed to encourage more play. There would be no point hiding it as it would make no difference to the RTP. -it would generate more revenue from the extra play.

OK, well just go to the forum home page, scroll down to the casino section & look in "General chat"; There you will find the "Winning Screenshots" thread - it's post #320 (which will be on page 32 for most viewers I would guess?):

Exactly!
The odds of that are one in 3,960,000 spins (3.96 million).
So even if you played 10,000 spins every single day, on average you wouldn't even hit the 5 wilds once a year... :eek2:

I would not be at all surprised if the chances of getting 5 Wilds in the Wildstorm feature are just as, or even more, unlikely. They CAN happen of course, but it's extremely rare.
