Hello,

After reading good things in this forum about 32red i tought, i give it a go. I downloaded the software
( wich for me is one of the poorest on the net ) opened an account ecta...

The next day i make a deposit of just 25 Euro and play a tourney or two and a few sit n go to get a feel for the room. With round 20 Euro left in account i stopped playing for the day.

The next day i try to log in and they have frozen my account because i am from Belgium!?

Why let me download / register account / verify account / deposit to close me down 2 days later???

Ofcourse i have asked for my cash to be returned but almost 1 week later still not 1 sign of life!

I guess another lesson learned for me as i have very litte hope ever getting a cent returned by 32red poker / casino.

I actualy think that its time to turn away from poker as i rarely can enjoy a game these days, always having to worry about being able to cash winnings or in this and few other cases account closure.

It must be golden times for the folks behind rooms like 32red, need cash?...lets close a few accounts and ignore Emails & all is fine.

BTW i have been waiting for just under 3 months on a 450 Euro withdrawal at an Everleaf skin, by the time they pay the 450 will just about cover for a club sandwich cause of inflation.

Maybe its time to seriously regulate online gaming and allow a max of 3 poker rooms & 3 casinos to get certification for real money play and close all the rest or outlaw them!

Why would i want to do that for?

I did what needed via live help but got nothing, what happened is very disturbing and i think its important that players and 32red know about this.

1. 32red should or put a clear warning on the website that players from X countries are not welcome
2. 32red should never let me download or register an account
3. 32red should not accept my deposit & then close my account!
4. 32red should atleast contact me and ask how i want my cash to be returned and maybe a sorry for the problems would have been welcome!

These rooms just take the cash and hope you will go away so they can keep it, if it works 100 times a month they have a nice income on the side!

All we simple players can do is use the internet and forums to warn others not to fall for the same tricks, this seems to be alot more effective then Emailing support or contacting live help!

I'm sure the 32Red crew have taken a week vacation to the Bahamas courtesy of your $25 deposit......its probably why you haven't received your refund yet.

You obviously posted purely to shitcan them, as there were other options for you to resolve the issue.....although your last response pretty much confirms my initial suspicion.

First of all it isnt a trick as they didnt do anything to get you to the casino. You joined out of your own will. (And they are a republe group)

Even if they did do this a hundered times they wouldnt have nice income because its poker. They would be lucky to make $100 as 32 red wouldnt get your money another player would. (but they wouldnt do this anyway) You should have done your reasearch before making a deposit.

Im sure 1 simple message to a Rep would have saved your time. If you had of put as much effort into contacting there Rep as you did this post it would be over now.

As the others have already said, you do it because it could get your problem solved -- that's what the Reps are for -- and you do it because if you don't you're ignoring the forum rules. The only reason you would post and NOT contact the Rep is if you were only here to bad-mouth the casino for reasons only known to yourself.

If you want help contact the Rep and get it done. They're good people and don't dick players around.
If you're just here for the slag-time then you're being a troll and you're cordially invited to piss off.

1. I do NOT need to research anything because the only place you will find any info that players from Belgium are not welcome is in the T&C. Not 1 warning to be found on their website

2. I did not need to contact any rep to open acc & deposit so why would i need to do so when they decide to shut it down! ( If i receive a deposit for my business and the customer changes his mind or i am unable to deliver the goods i will automaticly refund this person and forward excuses ) So i feel that this should have been fixed by 32red directly and not wait untill my patience is gone!

3. Players from banned countries should not be able to visit their website, download, register, verify + deposit. I am not an web Guru but i know that this is very ease to do!!!! Max 4Mins work and its fixed!

4. 25 Euro or 5.000 Euro make no difference

5. It helped as i was contacted by 32red to see what can be done, eventho they could not help me via live help or answer my Email first!?

@StefW: strongly suggest you read this post from our fearless leader. Less kvetching and more attention to what folks are trying to tell you would serve you well.

I don't know why a UK based casino would have issues with gamblers from Belgium.Pokerstars allows Belgium gamblers on there to play poker on, as I've had to play against them in tournaments and in cash games on there.

I hope you will work things out with Red 32.

Sometimes the governments will pass laws that prevent gamblers from playing on virtual gambling slots, so that their countries citizens must play them physically <ex.Canada and IGT>.

So I get your position about wanting to play poker, have other options, get paid off quickly and to enjoy your life.

Hopefully this will get resolved soon, so both sides can have a fair arrangement between them.

I was thinking along the same lines - why players from Belgium are not allowed - so I googled and found that Belgian legislation has become increasingly tight in that area - casino/poker operators need to establish an affiliate in Belgium in addition to having a license. That would explain it.

That being the case, why was the OP allowed to register and deposit in the first place? I cannot sign up at Virgin Casino for instance - Dutchies are not allowed to play there - not even in fun mode.

They (newbies) do know the forum rules. When one signs up, reading the rules is a requirement - and you have to click "I agree" to the rules during the registrations process. Then once your account has been activated, you are automatically sent a PM which details how one posts complaints. So there is no excuse for not PMing a rep, or any other transgression. It is presumed that members who fail to PM reps etc. just can't be arsed with reading our rules.

Now we can only make assumptions at this point: so far the member has not made contact with the casino, nor has the casino chimed in. We don't know whether or not there is a problem with the software which (hopefully) should have detected that the player was signing up from a banned jurisdiction, or if he was using a proxy server or what. We don't know because he failed to report this to the iGaming rep so we could hear the other side - or have any resolution. In other words, we are wasting our time.
