Hi everyone,

I need some advice on a bonus/cashout issue. Recently I used this bonus at a casino rewards casino and happened to hit a jackpot of a couple of thousand dollars. I went on playing and doubled up. Then I cashed out and received 2 e-mails congratulating me with my big win. Then the next day i received another e-mail stating my winnings were confiscated and void because of breaching bonus terms. After a couple of e-mails they told me the problem was that I made to big bets before reaching the playthrough. I honestly don't remember if that was the case but I would really like to know if that is a genuine reason to confiscate all my winnings and terminate my account. Or would it be wise to follow up on this further?

All help and advice is much appreciated.

If you don't think this is fair, complain to the KGC. They have a max bet term somewhere, and if you were well over this, you probably have little chance with this, but if they are relying on an "at the discresion of the management" type term, you could well have a case worth pursuing. If you simply raised your bet because you had a big win and much bigger balance, then this is hardly "abuse", but more a case of getting caught out by the euphoria of the moment, and going over the original bet maximum.

It is usually a percentage of the bonus credited, and around 20% to 30% at most MGS casinos. This is a pretty big bet to start with, but not so big when you are looking at a balance in excess of 2K, thus an easily made mistake.

thank you

Thanks for both your replies! They have sent me the terms and indeed it was a 20/30 ish % max and I could have exceeded that somewhat. I have not seen the logs though but if I did it was exactly like you stated an euphoria of the moment thing if it did happen. I did not know about the possibility of filing a complaint with KGC so I will try that. Thanks again and I will keep you guys posted.

In that case, you did not read the terms carefully and will now pay the price. It's never fun losing your winnings, and I empathize, but see it as a learning experience and don't take offers that you do not fully understand.

IMO you're wasting your time with a complaint.
