Hi everybody
I have been playing at a certain online casino for quit a while now (> 2years), and in the summer I started noticing something strange in the recent winnerslist..
In september I did win a nice amount in a good spin on a slot, and when I went back to the lobby I saw the recent winnerslist with my winnings but the slot name was not correct...
I was kind of upset and mailed the casino that theri list was not correct, apologies blablah

but I have made some screen schots every now and then while something else struck me ..
I have put parts of the screen dumps in one file and marked the in my opinion scam
what do you think?screenswinners.jpg

thanx
grtz bonny

Hard to read those screenshots, and hard to understand why you have highlighted wins by several different people...

In my personal opinion, winners lists on a lot of websites are totally made up and/or don't give the full picture of what the players actually won.
Not a "scam", but misleading information.

Can you explain in more detail the exact point you are trying to make?

KK

sorry if I did not explain clearly what I mean
thank for replying

I think they temper with their 'recent winners' list... and I always take a look at those before I choose a slot to play..
I colour coded the same amounts on different days... and there are some entries with the same name and the same amount..

because I mailed them before that their 'recent winners' list isn't correct, I have a feeling this whole list is just a script running with some real recent winnings but mixed with scripted ones...

oh sorry, didn't read your comment in the full I see now..

I don't think that this practice is 'misleading' as you say, I think that it is cheating...

"recently" is a rather vague term. It might not be automated, and it waits until someone manually updates it. I mean, I went to Cuba recently, but really, that was back in October.

Went for a drive with a friend to look at Xmas lights recently (Saturday)

You get my drift.

If the casino wanted to fake a list, couldn't they come up with bigger wins that that?

Typical over correct German :D :) "if it says pink on the tin then it should be pink and not rose" :D

My dear, don't take it too serious, these kind of winner lists are generated to create the impression for the site visitors that there is a lot of traffic in the casino, meaning the casino is well visited and liked, hence it must be good. Some casinos are truthful about their traffic, others not so much

It is the same thinking with a restaurant. If you see all seats taken you think "oh this must be good"

Einen schoenen Tag from a fellow German :D

You all don't seem too concerned that casinos would make a false script of winners or lie about the traffic on their site. Personally, I think it calls into question the integrity of the casino, the games I'm playing, and the kind of customer support I'd receive

If you have little trust in this place try elsewhere check out the accredited list :)

casumo shows you wins correctly :)

One of the very 1st things I do before settling in for a session is to 'hide' the winners list.

It is meaningless and has no bearing on whether you will win or not that day or ever for that matter.

Just something to 'Jazz' up the site.

Even if it shows players X, Y and Z are winning like crazy on a particular slot does not mean it is going to pay you or others.

Ignore the winners' list - unless you know the player's losses and betsizes it's just eye candy in the borders. As to 'recent', it's subjective, so again, why stress it. As to authenticity, besides my own name, knowing several members' real names, I've seen them roll by while I'm playing and WTGed them later, as they've recognized my name and WTGed me.

Still waiting for the casino that has a truthful winners list :p

Steve W just won £16 on Raging Rhino ! But he had £200 of dead spins before he got the freespins which only gave him bonus guarantee anyway !

etc ..

Many casinos DO have live up-to-date real winners, like Bet-at. I know because I check my own and they're correct, so I have no reason to doubt the rest.
Obviously some sites aren't too fussy though.

So what if the player had '200 dead spins before the £16 feature' on Rhino? What do you want the casino to do? Have a scrolling list of 'player x just lost 80p on Rhino' 'player y just lost 9p on DoA'. That would make for scintillating reading.

exactly i dont see what the fuzz is all about, i for one dont read what others are winning, but it doesnt bother me at all if its on the site :) legit or not

Let's assume it's not a scam, then two things come up in mind, it is either
1. "Gabriel is really good that he keeps on winning 45.50 that often OR
2. Since Recent is subjective and there have been no winners for the last 8 days (btn NOV 30 and DEC 8), then "Gabriel" is still in the list (not a good PR move, since the whole idea of winners list is to assure other players of a light at the end of the dark tunnel?

I looked at it and understood it.

It does seem to indicate that the casino is displaying the same winners, winning the same amount on separate days.
As if the casino are just playing the same tape over and over again.

Whether this snippet of evidence is enough to support that theory, is the question.

After taking a 2nd look I don't think it's enough.
Take the player 'Gabriel' for example. He/she probably just likes playing Fisticuffs on a bet level that makes $45.50 wins common.
That kind of explanation makes more sense.

Something that wound me up last year..

Was playing on a well known site, won about 80 quid on roulette..

Went to a slot, was down to about a quid when I saw my 80 quid win scroll up next to me... Really peed me off at the time :D
